  1. Merc pyro, out DOT their HOTs and with stealth scan, and range there is no escape. Merc DOTs are 5 in total. Incendiary, CGC, Fusion missile, Electronet, Thermal Det, and these all tick off while 2 rail shots and unload deal about 20K average direct damage. then 4/5K powershots finish the job. Also CGC applys a slow effect which halfs their roll distance and all direct damage has a chance to reset it. While playing my merc my first target is healers and they rarely survive my full rotation provided of course its an even fight and i can the drop on them

Tell me how does one simply take out a healer in a stacked fight? for that matter how does a group out numbered in mid get to the other team's pylon when that other team is between them and that pylon and out numbers them 2 to 1? i suppose they could make a tactical withdrawal and go under the basses but last i checked humans dont have a hive mind especially when it comes to regs but the reality is that the healer's team mates rip you apart before you even get your hands on him and then your in the spawn waiting for the door to open so you can try and help keep the second pylon which obviously doesn't open in time and like a thinned out heard of lemmings your crushed one by one by the team that stays together and fights as one. Im so sick of hearing "target the healer" as if its going to that easy! if you have enough DPS to kill a healer you can kill the guy he is trying to heal, the difference is one of the two can hurt your healer the other is guarded in a pincer formation. Of course there is one class who can global that healer at the right moment without being seen coming but that guy is over at the other team's pylon.

Heres the scenario that im sure your all familiar with by now, your team gets hammered out of mid, then you hear the words "you have taken both pylons", OH that's why we are getting outkilled! but there is over a2 minutes to go and the reg team your on now has to divide its forces to hold those pylons from a team of the same size thats going to overwhelm one pylon 2 to 1, obviously those are impossible odds for the reg team but mr hero ninja didn't do the math and they get their pylon back. as a consequence the team who focused their forces on one objective are now way ahead from kill points and have mid locked down, GG. You might think your doing your team a favor or are some kind of 1vs1 pro going the other pylon but what your actually doing is leaving your team short handed in mid and then forcing them to divide their forces without warning or prior planning as if they aren't going to be distracted enough by a fight that's now stacked against them, it might work 1 out 20 times, it might be effective in ranked 8vs8 or low level, but in reality it is just throwing the match. Divided you are conquered.

  6. Dark times for casters? LOL Obvi the OP wasnt a merc pre 2.0. So you fall below half health and Op snuffs you out from nowhere, so you have to reserve that important unroot/defensive CD for that unmistakabl Ding when you get leaped so what? hiow do you think that mara feels when you come round a corner and spam a full madness rotation on him while he is going toe to toe with a PT? and PT is left looking at the Op about to hidden strike him until a death field or explosive dart knocked him out of stealth? it goes both ways. Suck it up everyone gets there turn in the spawn box. you want a bad game go make a Jug and have fun playing WZs with no healer
  7. Yes we get it, a mega server is lots of little servers linked up in some way but the end result is as intended no? Yes STO is in fact on a megaserver and i hear ESO is going to be on one also.

This is just speculation but if i was in charge of this game at this point i would be giving serious consideration to a megaserver, PVE obviously, even as a PVPer who loves WPvP i can honestly tell you its dead out there, the few players i do find and attack die instantly or pop their legacy abilities nowadays. IMHO there really isn't any point in the WPvP element for a pvp server now i dont even fear stealth gankers but maybe if they made one of the daily planets contested to please us PVPers like section X or black hole, on a Megaserver im sure we would see more action there than anywhere any time on a full PVP server i would probably enjoy offering my services as a bodyguard for questers on my BH there to but really i can live without it in favor of populated instances where i can find groups but mainly get ques for solo ranked, form groups for team ranked, flashpoints and so on, they could even bring back 8v8 ranked given the combined population a megaserver would have. Obviously my first thoughts were cross server ques but as i said with the state of WPvP it makes more sense to me to just merge everything together for the benefit of the important aspects of the game. I have heard of PVE server exploits that involve AOEs, obvi a no damage to players buff for unflagged questers is in order for that. Wouldn't people get lag on a megaserver living far away? i play a US server from England, never seen latency to be a problem although i do see it in the animations occasionally the game seems to have a weird way of resolving it. Shouldn't it be a PVE and PVP megaserver? yes im sure the every single person i attack, or beat sending me hate tells would love there own server just for that, you know what keep your world PVP warzones are more fun anyway. Maybe if this game could actually handle real WPvP or hadn't deleted most lvl 50 toons in the last server merge while taking almost 2 years to start ranked seasons i would feel differently about it, but its just something that's been on my mind for a while now that i felt like mentioning

    this is a bug? i always just thought it was a punishment for spamming buttons and was caused by activating a skill prematurely

Il post the original match if you like, but when you play madness you have to think like a sorc the simplist way is to do your ranged attacks on the unsuspecting and vulnerable from a distance and close in on them as you you get the the close ranged and the melee attacks. death field and creeping terror are 30 meters, then the 15 meter discharge, then thresh and crushing darkness as it procs. all im doing is playing it back to front using my phase walk to incorporate the 30 meter reckless lightning almost like a sorc, you can be even more creative like stunning for a casted CD and coming back to proc the reset instant CD, theres allot of options and its far more diverse than the plain-jane sorc play style. for me deception is just 2 trucks hitting one after another you either survive the 2 15K reckless combos or your not a powertech lol but as i said and thankfully most deception sin players are worthless and fun to punish
  11. i actually have that original full match still but remember that its more about using phase walk against people instead of a way to just duck out of bad situations you know. thats my whole point here! using your class creatively not just following the meta playstyle and expecting a free kill people know how two fight Ops because they always attack in the same manner and leg it as soon as you trip them up what do you expect? might work on NPCs but you stab me to the floor you better hope everything crits or im going to start rubbing my metaphorical nips and trip you over at every turn. as for assassins well everything Does crit, i think personally deception is totally overpowered against most classes but bad players keep it that way by having no clue how to PVP and i dont want bad players to do the same thing to Ops
  12. your not supposed to see an assassin coming, and they dont see you coming in WZs either for the same reason, in fact the whole point on those PTs and how i play the spec is using the element of surprise and confusion as an assassin should, but in deception i find that i barely scratch PTs whereas madness seems to squash them like bugs, think about it death field/creeping terror, they are ranged when you use that instead of being all in their face about it by the time they know whats happening its too late thats how madness should be played IMO and works just the same on healers in WZs who are also not looking 30 meters behind them

Is that a request to see me in ranked? i always thought real PvPers in this game gave up on that when 8vs8 was dropped but i am tempted to post some rounds i just don't like to assume credit for team efforts. Besides debuffs, distraction and CC isnt something that's really reflected on the score board and judging from the overall response im getting for these videos i doubt many people will see beyond my DPS score anyway. BTW i wouldn't post a fight up that wasn't a fair one, if you think the game is that imbalanced why do you play? or maybe you just have no concept of the mechanics mechanics work outside arenas. As i said already and wont repeat again, full expertise against no expertise is a 50% boost, 2 players with no expertise is a combined 100% boost with double CC and companion heals. and if you knew how the game works you would know that attacking a player that's fighting a mob immediately switches the aggro to the aggressor hence i use a HK to take some of that off myself. still think the fights are stacked? My only mistake here is assuming people actually see whats going on in my videos.

I think its sad that WPvP plays make you mad, and undergeared? you make me out to be like those assassins you see camping elites, waiting till their targets are on low health and running at the first sign of trouble, at least i show the zeal to shoot on sight and stick the fight out, unlike most! and you think im able to inspect pubs when i attack them? and you do know that when a stealth jumps someone fighting a mob the aggro switches to the stealther right? just like if i was to run to another mob the aggro would switch back to them. something i dont like to do. and btw, expertise=50% additional damage/resistance 2 players is 100%, 50% more than my expertise gives ontop of the additional CC and 2 healer comps do the math please. Really i understand your disdain i know how most stealthers operate and suffered it on my first 3 none stealth toons every day for over a year but try to at least appreciate the odds im going against in my videos i wouldnt post a fight that mathematically wasn't fair or just somewhat funny because WPvP is not a serious thing is it. But how good i think i am isnt the point here, im not trying to troll you, forum warrior QQ is a happy bonus, the potential for Ops to go above and beyond their meta rotations is the point. And really i dont think the buff will make much difference, Assassins can prompt crits, Ops cant. take away recklessness or give Ops a similar skill if you want them on par with each other, remember i have a sin, cc/15K burst vanish, cc 15k burst guaranteed is joke and lets stop and think whats more slippery, an energy guzzeling 10 meter roll or a 60 meter teliport that can be used while stunned? as i said its not Ops that are broken and if you remember they were nerfed for a reason.

Obviously he was saving his trinket, its called not sucking, of course i wasnt the one with the healer that BW deems to strong to use in FPs i hear, nor was i the one popping legacy abilities (unity/project/force sweep), just a no expertise HK in mostly original 50 gear infact i dont pop a single defensive CD against him. and tell me more how 6 secons is half a of 41 second fight. personally i would have interceded one of those friendly NPCs to get the leap and unstoppable proccing visciouse throw etc, maybe saved my reflect for the next application of acid blade instead of using it against the follow up hits but nvm your right i do suck its nothing to do with how overpowered my Op is <3

  19. Sins have more CC and do more than that much damage and unlike Ops have guaranteed crits. Op=spike/stun resolved Sin=spike, lowslash, stun=resolved DPS OP 6-7K lacerate Sin 6-9K maul But they dont really need that when they get combo of a 6k shock/6K dischchard vanish to reset recklessness and repeat thats a guaranteed 24K while your stunned before they even need to maul you which they can do while force shrouded thanks to BWs failed idea of what behind the player is. Oh no Ops will have a chance to be as good as sins are, that being their crit chance IMO this game is grossly biased towards force users, they all seem to have a crit gauruntee skill in one spec or another (recklessness/smash/thunderblast) tech users have nothing of the sort.

For pugs i find its better to just ride their healer/best DPSer, and again guard the mara or jug next to you because guard only works if your in range which as a tank you wont be, i mean think about it, your healer is backline right? if he gets jumped at all you need to peel for him but otherwise he is safe and no doubt will run away most of the time anyway thus distance LOSing your guard whereas warriors and melee need that gaurd allot more because they're the ones getting hit the most, you soak up those hits (50%) and the healer has an easier time moving in to flash heal you instead of having to spread those heals out AS MUCH. make sense? As for what you interrupt in general go for the casts that give procs and resets, such as powershot, kolto injection, force storm, ect that way they have wasted manner, time, and will often be left with nothing more to do other than wait out the lockout period. the ambition being that you go from seeing the cast bar on your own target to actually seeing the animation on the field and switching or even using knock backs or stuns to interrupt it. EDIT: its also important to choose one player to guard, for me the most aggressive CQC dont try to switch guard for 2 reasons, firstly you wasting global cooldowns and time targeting, secondly doing this takes allot of attention away from your other responsibilities prevention is better than cure! a good tank will do more prevention of damage than he would trying to guard all his team mates against it. and again i cant stress this enough. HEALERS RUN BACK AT THE FIRST SIGN OF TROUBLE GUARD WILL NOT REACH THEM just keep them in the corner of your screen on as a focus target and be ready to pull of leap and push and leap that assassin back into the middle of the fight where the DPS can mop him up while you get back to your own job of being a brick wall.
  21. i think you do actually need accuracy but your a few things to your team, a damage sponge mainly but also a nerf bat, taunt high damage players as they attack key players on your team while slowing everyone else as much as possible, as a tank there is no end to the ways you can trip up the other team, for example one thing i love to do with my jug and new powertech is to use my AOE slows to prevent the other team from rotating nodes in choke points. you also have the responsibility of keeping people out of the healer's face, dont bother trying to guard hum though, as a frontliner you will be too far away just focus target him and when you see his health dropping, target his target and pull or jump or whatever you need to do but i normally gaurd marauders as il be staying close to them and they often get burnt. I could go on but i think you can draw your own conclusions, be a pain in the neck to the other team
