  1. I was gonna say "A dance contest, Bioware? Really?" until I realized it was April 1st. So clap clap.
  2. Best. Guilds: "noinapmoC ruoY", "Dyslexic Denefders". Name: Clint'Westwood
  3. ^ Believe me when I say that this game has a long way to go before it's comparable to the scale of the CU, let alone the NGE. I'm not saying to have faith because I don't have a messload but don't compare this game's updates to the NGE. If anything on that scale happens, you will know. EDIT: Let's not forget this game was made as an experiment. The first of its kind, a full voice story-based MMO. I never expected it to be fantastic, but it is revolutionary in its own way. It was also BW's first MMO. So at least they have an excuse to not have a completely perfect game AT LAUNCH. However, they have repeatedly ignored us, screwed us, stolen money from us, and acted like they know more than us on what we want in the game. That's why I have no faith in them. They can definitely pull themselves out but they have a lot to do before that happens. These bugfixes are a start. Remember that. The Customer service should have been the start but you have to start somewhere. Right this minute all I'd appreciate from BW is some humility and some indication that they're paying attention to us besides saying it.
  4. I run Windows 7 home premium and I'm not having any (many) problems with the 32 bit version. But like some others said, I could never say no to more speed.
  5. I think it was made to be less atmospheric like planets and more hub-like, like a waiting room or a lobby. Its purpose isn't to be stylish, but functional .
  6. Krayt dragons are very uncommon in this era. The only reason you saw one in KOTOR was because they're drawn to areas with the dark side of the force, and the star map was one of them.
  7. Agreed. The mask looks stupid without a cool robe to go with it.
  8. True, but this is for more than just commendation-related stuff. The idea is to merge comm amounts so that one character can get, say, 300 commendations spread throughout all of your characters and buy something with it. Though alternatively, they could make everything in the game that's not bind on equip, bind to legacy and then make commendations tradeable (to characters in the legacy) but part of me just likes the feature more than the function. A legacy bank would be cool. They could put terminals in the same place that the guild banks are in.
  9. I would love to see the neo-crusader armor added. That was my favorite set in KOTOR.
  10. Remove the level requirement on level 50 gear? You'd be overpowered with him out.
  11. No. The whole point of the narrative is that the war is all-encompassing and it's become less and less possible to avoid choosing sides. I like the idea, but it would be difficult since they'd have to build 4 new mirror characters, new environments, new starter planets, a new capital world, new stories, etc. Not to mention a merc faction would defeat the purpose of having bounty hunter and smuggler on separate sides, since they are both technically neutral. Which means they'd need entire new stories, etc. I like the idea but it'd be too difficult.
  12. I'm honestly tired and in a tl;dr kind of mood so going off of what I saw in the title.. Guild planets, no. I understand why we'd want them but housing isn't implemented so really there's no point unless it's a civilization V knockoff and the city grows/adds preset structures in preset places as the guild grows. However, I highly agree with a guild ship but let's take it a step further because I feel a guild ship would be much more suited for an open-space zone, like in SWG. For TOR, I think a space station would be much cooler. That's really my only suggestion. Either way, /signed
  13. Legacy gear kits are way too difficult to come across for how good they are (my inheritance sniper rifle was the best thing until level 18) and not worth the high amount of daily commendations required for it (I don't work the hell out of dailies for newbie gear, I do it for dread guard implants and such). That's why I think legacy gear kits should be implemented into the cartel store. They can't be obscenely expensive (Because they become basically useless after 5 levels, since they can't be modded), but I'd gladly pay around 500-600 cartel coins for a full set of inheritance gear. That's its worth, after all. Thoughts?
  14. Don't you get it? It's a test for the male jedi. Dress the females as skimpily as possible and test their temptations.
  15. Open world PVP is dead and duels aren't reliable considering how infrequently they happen. /signed
  16. I don't know if this has been brought up before but this would be a fantastic implementation. I'm talking about a server-wide inventory menu where you can store commendations, money, items (such as resources) so that if I chose to put in 100 daily commendations on one character and 100 on another into this bank, I can have one character withdraw 200 and buy something worthwhile with it. This'd also be fantastically useful for a quick way to put your credits/items somewhere safe before you delete a character or before they go inactive (for preferred/F2P players) so that your active characters could make use of them, instead of having to mail them (and there have been a couple of times where I have mistyped a name because I was in such a rush.). I have 11 characters, and 4 of them are off of the capital world. 2 are level 50, one is level 37, one is level 20. I can't even express how irritating it is that I cannot transfer their leftover commendations from the capital worlds to newer characters to buy something that would actually help them. Only problem I foresee is that it'd take some tweaking of the whole binding system. I don't think stuff should be changed to bind to legacy for this idea (I actually do, but that's for another thread). We can still keep cargo holds for BoP stuff and such. On top of that, you would have to put some sort of "bound to imperial characters" and "bound to republic characters" thing on starter/capital world commendations. That's it. Thoughts?
  17. I'd like to give him a more permanent position on my ship as a training dummy. This won't happen but if it ever does, I feel like I can count on Bioware to make some subtly masochistic remarks whenever I shoot at him.
  18. We're not going to get far-from human species options since they already said that. There'd be trouble with clipping, facial expressions, and character voices. However, I'd like to eventually see Zeltrons, togruta, (possibly) nautolans, echani, and kiffar at some point. Even the species that Rusk is. There's plenty of near-human species not implemented yet that could be.
  19. No. If you have several level 50s, doing it without a companion would make you obscenely powerful, and near-invincible. It'd let you solo heroic bosses, flashpoint bosses, etc. Plus, it would be exploited and used in operations. idk about you but having everybody in an 8 man group spam legacy force leap, flame thrower, and legacy kick to the coin purse on Gharj, Soa, Kephess, Karagga robot, etc. would completely defeat the purpose of a DPS requirement. It'd make said bosses defeat-able by undergeared teammates. I think it's like that for a reason. Also, heroic moment abilities aren't meant for level 50s to use, they're meant for level 15s to use when they get their heroic moment ability. It's the same thing as demonstrating your blankblank legacy. It's meant to be a memento for leveling a different class to 50. So even if you don't have use for them at endgame, that doesn't make them useless.
