  1. Well, my Jedi Sage in my personal head canon is a former Force Adept and remembers the war. He disagrees with the Jedi on the "serenity" angle, but he's mostly light side. He's more "guardian of peace and justice" and less "durrhurr, we have to do what the Republic wants!" He pursue's relationships openly and prefers mercy and other positive emotions where other Jedi would probably call him foolish or emotional for doing so. He also makes somewhat less-than-jedily decisions sometimes. For instance he chose to preserve ancient writings on war and poetry and love rather than preserve jedi teachings on meditation. My Sith Warrior so far has been very calm and ruthless. She's kind when it will get her ahead in life, or when cruelty would leave a living enemy behind. When she backstabs, she backstabs to kill. But so far she's spared people in hopes of cultivating allies who can help propel her to power. She's actually less emotional than the Jedi is. A cold, ruthless, and efficient killer. And I'm waiting for Cathar and Cyborg unlocks to do the Jedi Knight and Sith Inquisitor story lines.
  2. Ossus. OH GOD OSSUS. Perhaps a pvp zone for Jedi and Sith to fight it out over the ruins of the Great Library. That would be a pretty cool zone. A race against time as the planet suffers massive, critical seismic activity and lethal radiation from the ruined star threatens to bathe the planet in deadly light. Mandalorian hunters stalk the ruins, waiting for the ultimate prey - Jedi and Sith. Imperial Agents rush to recover ancient secrets, deemed too deadly and dangerous even for the Sith to pursue. And the Jedi Consular must discover the truth behind the Jedi and the First Great Schism - and whether the Jedi today are truly the descendants of Dark or of Light. As much as I'd like to see Dathomir, it would seriously re-write the canon to have Jedi and Sith fighting during this period on the Planet. However, it would be really interesting to see Hapes. During this period the Cluster is run by pirates, if I'm not mistaken, and it's a period where the Jedi free the sector. That has serious potential for story quests, but it seems to work only as a Republic world. With that in mind they'd have to add a Sith world. With that in mind, I think maybe Mandalore or Ry'loth would be interesting worlds to add to the Sith list, and they would add a lot to the Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter. Ry'loth would be interesting for Twi'lek Inquisitors. On the other hand, searching Dxun or Yavin IV could be an equally valid option to add, especially for the Sith Inquisitor and Warrior story lines. Adventuring through the ruins of older Sith civilizations could definitely work well, and it would provide an opportunity for ample betrayal and intrigue among the Sith. And backstabbing is always fun.
  3. Bothans are unlikely to be Troopers in the way in which the Republic Trooper is a soldier. You don't run into many in the canon who are more than schemers and officers, and the ones you do run into are generally operatives and pilots. For the same reason, a Bothan Jedi Knight is remarkably less likely than a Jedi Consular. As to Selonians, while Zonder is a good example (and one I've used as an excuse to play them in tabletop :3 ) an exception doesn't automatically disprove the rule. Like I said, I don't see the Selonians becoming Jedi except in extremely rare, even unique cases. It would require at least some work around, some explanation, if it wasn't a legacy unlock (in which case you're not assumed to be one by the story anyway, so it's your own fault for playing it, now isn't it?) And now for something completely different: Turian Imperial Agents. Then we can make the best snipers on the Citadel.
  4. I'm seeing that the Selonians are available as Jedi. This is troublesome, as the lore for the species makes it clear that Selonians are not eligible for Jedi status. I could see a Bounty Hunter, Smuggler, and Imperial Agent however. Perhaps a Sith Inquisitor as well, as they are slaves. However, I don't see Sith Warrior, Jedi Knight, or Jedi Consular working because they require the Selonian who is a force user to become a member of a foreign agency officially. The Imperial Agent works as a spy (and the various cover stories you use work well, as any renegade Selonian would need to be very renegade. However, a Selonian Jedi or Soldier doesn't work so well because Selonians tend to be pretty insular and isolationist. There's also the problem that the fertile males would be pretty rare off planet/outside of the Corellian system. Any Selonian character would need at least a little dialogue in their prologue explaining why they're not on Selonia, unfortunately. As much as I want to play a Selonian Sage, it doesn't seem like it would work very well as a player species. Bothans are listed as having Trooper and Jedi Knight, which seems a little inconsistent with Bothans. I can definitely see the Imperial Agent (Bothan Spynet, anyone?) and the Jedi Consular though. I'd be interested to see how Bioware made everyone's favorite llamadog spies as models in the game. The new image of Cathar suggests that it could be quite good if they worked at it.
