Any plans on fixing the KOTFE Chapter 9 Romance Bug?

For players like myself who got the Chapter 9 Cantina bug where if you play KOTFE from Chapter 1 to 9 and end up getting hit by a patch in between, the game forgets that you pick all flirt options with Lana, Theron or Koth. So, here's how we can fix this: Let us toggle Companion Romances so that it's recognized during previously played chapters and for chapters we haven't played earlier. Simple as that. Come on BW, this bug is so easy to fix yet you haven't adressed it for over A YEAR AND A HALF

I haven't read a lot about anyone else having that bug, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a common one.

What exactly are emergency patches? Have they recently been introduced?

This is an idea that was posted by another user, and it's something that can be implemented in order to let us fix the Chapter 9 Romance Bug: Give us access to the romance conversation in the cantina. Copy the romance version of the cantina conversation and make it accessible to the affected players, and make it accessible to us by clicking the companion in the cantina, and then the conversation plays out and lets you activate the romance. Preferably, make it so that the romance becomes retroactive post Chapter 9 of KOTFE. Alternatively, just let us toggle the Romance Flag in the Companion Terminal or Crew Window (Again, make it retroactive)

Even if that works for people, they should be warned that they can still lose their romance even if they get it.

Thanks for the support, to be honest I think it's insane that they're still quiet. And that's a nice fix: Copy the romance version of the cantina conversation and make it accessible to us, so we can use that to activate a new romance. So bloody simple. Either that or just let us toggle the romance flags ourselves in the Crew window. Just have us be able to activate the romance and get the romance checkmark and all romance dialogue with a click or two, that's how simple it could be

That's the thing, missing those lines and/or cutscenes when you should get them really just, sucks. A lot.

For all I know, they might not even know this bug exists. However, I flatly refuse to believe they don't know about this bug's existense at this point.

It's not the romance itself that's got us pissed off, it's the fact that, like I said, we are missing out on story content that we should have gotten, but that we didn't get thanks to a bug.

Part of me wants to make a new Assassin from Level 1, but that's like 1 percent of my brain because then I'd end up redoing Class Missions, PvP, Planetary Quests, Flashpoints, WBs, ROTHC, DW, FA, SOR, ROTE and then KOTFE to recreate my Assassin completely. And oh my god, if I were you, I would be mad like hell if I bought a token and had that happen. Also, the devs aren't very inactive on the forums, check their profiles, they just rarely come out to say anything.

Yes. I myself wanted to romance Lana during KOTFE, and I selected all flirt options with her. By the time I got to Chapter 9, I didn't get the option to click either: 1. I want to talk to one of you. or 2. [Flirt] I want to talk to one of you. The conversation just carried on and let me pick either Lana or Theron. I picked Lana, and I didn't get the flirt option to start the romance. I did everything right, and a lot of other people have had this problem since over a year ago when people reported on it, well, like I said.

So basically for those who don't know, players who previously selected all flirt options with Lana, Theron or Koth did not get the option to activate their romances during Chapter 9. While the devs are COMPLETELY silent on this matter, people have said that they have gotten replies to In-Game tickets that this bug is going to be fixed in a future update, but they haven't been told anything else. Hang on, so the devs in other words know about this bug, but have not said anything over a YEAR after this bug was being reported? The worst thing is this is a game that is supposed to focus on story content, but when people are missing out on stories because of a bug, they don't say anything about it for over a year? How does this make sense? When and how are people who were screwed over going to get their Romance Flags on their characters who selected all flirt options?

I know, I just said that it didn't work for me.

After replaying Chapter 2 on my Sniper, I found out my Temple Romance has been restored. HOWEVER, I am still missing my Lana Romance on my Assassin. Mind you, I should have had it since after replaying all KOTFE chapters up until Chapter 9, I realized I had already selected all flirt options without even getting the romance confirmation at the end of Chapter 9...

Just tried the trick of playing Chapters 1 to 8 on Veteran mode, then playing Chapter 9. Got the romance during the chapter, but it disappeared after. So yeah, that didn't work for me. Isn't it great how back when I played KOTFE when it launched, I picked all flirt options and still didn't get the romance with Lana in the cantina? *********** wonderful stuff right there, can this bug be fixed in another year?

Never mind, tried that trick. Got the romance during the quest, but it disappeared afterwards.

Hang on, if I replay chapters 1 to 9 of KOTFE on Veteran mode, I can get my Lana romance? And after I've played chapter 9, can I go straight to chapter 1 of KOTET without playing all the other KOTFE chapters up until 16?
