  1. Already canx, but thanks anyway.
  2. I suppose. Just seems like such a waste. No reason (for me) to PvP before level 50 now, as there is nothing to buy but crappy blue stuff that nobody wants anyway.
  3. So, I have a 50. I was attempting to level another character to 50 using mostly PvP. My idea was that I could buy BM gear as I levelled and have a 70-90 percent complete set to start with at 50 - you know, actually be somewhat competitive. But, after the patch went live I noticed I can't buy BM gear below level 50. With a cap of 2000 comms (I have read), what do I spend them on? I have zero desire to level this guy now knowing that the grind (and I know it has been made easier, but who cares) will START at level 50. Bioware should have just let us buy BM gear as we went along imho. Can you even buy the cruddy blue gear before 50? Better question, why would you even want to. All my guildies who played in the 1.2 Beta said you could buy level 50 gear at sub 50 on the beta. If that is true, why change it? TL;DR: I really wish we could buy BM gear as we levelled to 50. I am going to be capped at 2K WZ comms in about 4 more matches, with no gear (that is any good) to get between level 23 and 50. Hmmm....
  4. I actually want this game to move FARTHER AWAY from WOW. It is too similiar to me. I understand you were likely talking about features, but I want new and UNIQUE MMOs, not elves in space rip-offs.
  5. I am pretty sure I made water while reading that. Bravo!
  6. So Bioware, When might you develop premade only queueing for WZs? Not trying to be angry here or anything, but I have been tracking my wins and losses just for giggles and grins the last month, and I am sitting at winning 29 percent of the time. Couple hundred games in there. Not enough data to put a rocket on the moon, but enough to make some reasonable assumptions. I win less than a third of the time. Why? Well, my win percentage is actually about 55 percent when not getting paired with or against a partial premade. That makes sense. You should, over a long enough time horizon, win about half against like geared/skilled teams. Right? For whatever reason, on my server, during the day (really my only playtime), there is usually one Repub group and 1 or 2 Imp groups rolling all day long in partial premades. My 29 percent winning percentage is actually closer to 20 during the day - I have "padded" my stats by racking up a few wins at night when I (can't speak for other servers) notice you seem to run into a lot less premades when more folks are playing. So, I could just play at night right? Not really an option for me. So, with my schedule, I just need to get used to winning about 1 in 5 games so that BM geared partials can best learn the art of farming. Sweet. Makes getting the daily done pretty awesome too. Need 3 wins, with a 1 in 5 win rate...so, 15 short games (4 hours of PvP) to get a bag. So, why don't I go get into a PvP guild like the ones rolling me all day? Because I like my guild, that's why. They are mostly PvE'ers, and I am not, but I still like them. So no. Not an option. Bioware, do some of us a favor and make the premades queue against other premades. I don't care if I have to sit in queue longer to get matches. At least when I get them, there will be a 50/50 chance of winning, and I will actually enjoy the game. Thanks for listening.
  7. +1 I went 4-19 in games today. Yes, 4 and 19. I realize how pathetic that sounds. I did not get credit for two wins. So, after 23 games of PvP (and about 4 hours) I still don't have my (explicative deleted) daily done. You know, if you play mornings and afternoons on my server, it is just one partial premade after another (I had bad luck today to almost NEVER get in the other half with the premades)...so getting roflstomped for hours to finally get a win and not see it counted...ummm, disheartning to say the least. So, I gave up for the day. Fix the game, and lower it to one a day until you can get your stuff squared away BW. Thanks.
  8. Just bumping this. I have a pile of quests I can't get rid of. Sure would like to though....
  9. I HATE that the surnames are unique. I planned out my name BEFORE pre-launch. All set. Ready. Problem is, I level slow. Shoot me. So, there I am today, at level 26 rolling around doing quests, and what do I see? My chosen surname on a level 50 standing at the mailbox right beside me. All fair in love and war, and he/she beat me to it fair and square. However, and I know this might sound silly to most, it kind of sapped my desire to even level. Do you know how many thousands of people have my last name IRL? Why would it be odd at all to have a few characters on a certain server with the same last name. Was Han Solo the ONLY Solo in the entire galaxy? Pretty stupid imho.
  10. I wonder if Bioware is realizing that this single failure could doom an otherwise epic game?
  11. My gaming night: Log on to 600 person queue. Timer "guesstimates" 35 minute wait. Wait 35 minutes. 400 in queue. Give up. Log off. Come here to write this before going to watch "Big Bang Theory" reruns while ruminating on the epic amount of fail this pre-launch has been.
