  1. I'm using that mod at the moment an It's good. The only problem is the planets look a little too close to the ships etc.
  2. A new Star Wars RTS that's set in The Old Republic would be great.
  3. I've been playing Star Wars: Empire at War for the past few days and noticed this game was released in 2006. Hoping there was a more up to date Star Wars RTS, I went to Google in search and found nothing. Given the success of the Total War franchise in PC gaming, I know well built RTS games are still in demand and I think a new Star Wars RTS would be well received by the community. Does anyone know of any developers who are creating one or looking at doing so?
  4. I've been interested in switching to a server with a higher population for some time now. My current server, The Progenitor EU, is getting old in regards to it's PVP community. I understand that it is an RP server and PVE/PVP aren't big things over here, but I don't RP and I don't want to. A lot of PVP and PVE dedicated Guilds have closed due to their own reasons and this is making it more difficult for me to run daily PVP and find a Guild that is willing to teach me about Operations. Some of you are going to ask "Why did you roll on a RP server in the first place?" and that is a LONG STORY. I'd appreciate it if anyone could answer a few questions I have about The Red Eclipse EU server. I'll list my questions below; 1. What is the general economy like over on The Red Eclipse? 2. How big is the server population? 3. What is PVE / PVP like in regards to dedicated Guilds and PVP pops? 4. What is the Republic / Empire ratio base? 5. Is the population high late in the evening? (1am+ UK time, my current server is dead)

  6. Dantooine It was my favourite planet in the KOTOR games and I'd enjoy being able to re-visit Dantooine again in SWTOR. The storyline and lore was great in both of the games and searching the ruins of the Jedi Enclave in KOTOR 2 was amazing!
  7. I hope they bring Dantooine into SWTOR soon and not as an Operation or Flashpoint. Happy to see a possible return to Manaan, though
  8. Empirium has just opened and we're looking for new members. All levels and classes are welcome! Focused on helping people level up and progress through the game's original content for now, we eventually want to expand into an PVE/PVP Guild. We have a dedicated ranking system and our first Bank tab is now open with repair bill coverage of 5000 credits for lower ranks. For anymore information, please leave a comment below. Thank you. Other Vacancies Head of PVE: CLOSED Head of PVP: WANTED Head of RP: WANTED Head of Crafters: WANTED
  9. I didn't get much interest from people on this forum so I gave up on this thread. Things are moving forward nicely and we've started saving credits for when the Guild opens. I don't want to rush in and begin inviting people if we don't have the facility's people want. The Guild itself should be open this week and the facility's like a Guild bank/repairs shouldn't be far off either. You're more than welcome to join. Last minute details like a name and rank system are being finished today.
  10. I believe I used to be a member of that Guild. After a week or two away from SWTOR, I logged back in and they had kicked me. It might not be the same Guild, but the name certainly rings a bell.
  11. I'm looking for a Guild where I can learn the basics of Operations. Most Guilds expect you to know EVERYTHING about Ops if you're intending to join for them. I don't and I need help.
  12. WTB - Legacy Name Change I'm an addict for the CM packs which doesn't leave me with a lot of CC's at the end of every month. Saving them is quite difficult. This is why I haven't bought one directly from the Cartel Market. If you're willing to sell one, leave your wanted price below in the comments. Thank you
  13. Tatooine is the last place I'd want to live. Coruscant looks nice but we all know Dromund Kaas is going to be the best one.
  14. Opening a Guild I wish to open my own Guild in preparation for the upcoming expansion, Galactic Strongholds. A lot more content is heading our way this year and a bulk of it will involve the Guild system. The main objectives for the Guild will be to prepare for the new expansion and finish all current end-game content before it's release. I want to open a Guild where people don't feel the need to stay just for the experience bonus or Guild repair allowance. I want to open a Guild which has something for everyone and makes it's members feel appreciated. So far I've been working on a ranking system and a name for the Guild. To begin with the Guild will focus on levelling and helping new players/members. Once things progress and we develop a strong membership base, we can start looking towards end-game content like Operations. It is important that when the Guild does begin end-game content, we maintain a friendly atmosphere for new members and low level members. Too many Guild's claim to be 'noob friendly' and once the Officer's, GM and Guild regulars hit Operations, they forget their members and the Guild suddenly turns into one big Operation's team. I don't want that to happen. I'm open to suggestions, too. What is a Guild if it doesn't have democracy? I often find a Guild where only the GM makes important decisions looses members a lot or finds itself shut down within a few months. If you're interested in joining or want to help out, leave a post on this thread. I need people who want to help build something special. Roleplay So far, I have no idea about RP for the Guild. I want the Guild to have an RP element. Being that the Progenitor is an RP server, we should have RP in the Guild. I've thought about leaving a Guild member in charge of the RP as I'm not a seasoned RP'er and I feel I wouldn't do it justice. Faction The Guild will be on the Empire side. TeamSpeak 3 The Guild will have access to a TeamSpeak 3 server from day one. I own my own server and will be converting it into a Guild server soon.

  16. I'm starting this thread because I recently decided to make a Mercenary and I've been told I need the power and critical stats, but to focus more on power. I'm level 36 and the Arsenal spec tree. I've figured out a way I think might help balance those stats. My guns and relics have critical rating mods and everything else power?
  17. The cartel coin give away won't make a difference. People have programmes set up to copy a code as soon as SWTOR publish it. Unless it is one use per-account then great.
  18. The F2P Player I am starting this thread to see what experiences other people have had with the F2P player as I've had nothing but trouble from them. A lot of people on my server will only let subscribers join their Guilds, only group with subscribers and generally ignore anything a F2P player says or asks. This might seem a little unfair, but I'll explain MY reasons for not liking the general F2P player. Instances The first time I went into an instance with someone who was F2P was when I began levelling my Sith Juggernaut. The instance was Black Talon and everything was going fine until loot started to drop. A piece of armour dropped and I rolled 'greed' and he rolled a 'need'. I forget now, but the armour was definitely not for his class. After asking him "Are you new?" and "Are you F2P?" he answered yes to both of my questions. Without getting angry, I explained the 'need' over 'greed' system and he apologized and said it wouldn't happen again until he saw something he could use. A few minutes pass and it happens again and again and again. Each time he would 'need' an item I'd ask him "Why?" and he would not reply. Finally having enough, I left the group and found him talking in general chat about 5 minutes later stating I was a ninja looter and I'd took all the loot! Now, one bad experience doesn't mean every F2P player is like that, right? Well, in my case, yes. Since that instance, every F2P player I've grouped with has done this and either ignored the groups questions or stated he is F2P and can't trade the item back. These experiences have caused me to NEVER group with a F2P player at all now and it is a shame because I imagine not every F2P player uses their lack of abilities to ninja everything. Cartel Coins & F2P Player Rights This happened on board the fleet and I was quite shocked to see this said, but a F2P player was complaining about his right to Cartel Coins and saying that they have just as much entitlement to 500 Cartel Coins a month as subscribers do. His excuse was that if it wasn't for the F2P player, the game would be long dead because "the F2P player buys more Cartel Coins than any subscriber in SWTOR as they use them more often". Before this had happened, I had offered to buy stuff from the Cartel Market for people who would then buy it from me with credits. This guy had asked me for a credit escrow of 600k and told me 50k was an adequate price for it and that I should accept his offer. I told him "No" quite simply and said to get some Cartel Coins and buy it himself. Then the general chat rant began. Conclusion These are just two of my experiences with the F2P player, but I'd like to know yours. Have you had nothing but good times with the F2P player or nothing but terrible times? This thread is not a thread to post hate about my post or anyone else's. This is for you to share you experiences.
  19. I have now purchased the Eradicator's Mask, but I'm still interested in the suit legs.
  20. I would like to see these armours put back into the game. The new Sith Warrior is horrible. EAware will bring these armours back, but they'll put them into the Cartel Market and charge 1200 CC's for them.
  21. That level 1 Bounty Hunter who is still on Hutta could be reserved by someone who wants that name for his next character and has made a character with it to reserve it. I used to do it with WOW. Make a Rogue with a name and play my main until I was ready to use my reserved name.
  22. I couldn't agree more. I've got the Eradicator's Mask on the Sith Juggernaut and he's got a level 2 size body and his head looks like a balloon with it on.
