  1. another thing what is the point of having a buyOUT price if you cant bid... wouldn't it just be a buy price? let me bid on stuff!!!!
  2. or just make it remember what you selected the time before and do that!!! if you want to stop PvPing at the end of your current WZ just uncheck and it wont queue you again. when you join the next time it will be unchecked and you just have to check it again and it will stay checked until you decide to uncheck it.
  3. /sign i too have been annoyed by AFKers in War Zones. i do believe the leader can vote kick an offender but i have never seen it done. it all looks good to me (i like medals )
  4. agree with the exception of 15 seconds... alot of times i am attacking the next group right as the last guy from the previous group dies. so waiting 15 seconds would suck. other than those i sign
  5. true but that doesn't mean every consumer speaks for the whole... you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all the time. if they added another couple of WZs it would reduce the chance of you getting hutt ball and when you did get it you could just leave the WZ.
  6. i missed this post when writing my idea for companion item comparison but i took the idea a step further take a look here http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=502846 and i had no idea it already existed but it still stands (i think) that if you dont have the companion active you cant see the comparative tool tip. PS /sign
  7. could be added as a high end perk to the legacy system. Have 2 lvl 50s control 4 companions on 1 other alt have 3 lvl 50s control 8 companions on 2 other alts etc. to a max of 16 companions on 4 alts. or something like that. problems arise: 1) missions cost money so would the money come from the char you are currently logged on or from the one you are sending on missions remotely? solution Since transferring money between your chars is as simple as mailing some cash/items pretty much your account Credit balance is usable by any of your chars. I would like to throw an idea i just had of Linked Bank rolls. all your chars share the credits and the amount you see at the bottom of your inventory is the summation of all your chars on that server (cant go cross server as you cant mail money cross server. 2) wouldnt be able to use Armstech, armortech, etc. because they require materials that the server needs to check if you have before crafting, and if the char isnt logged on the server cant do that check. solution just allow mission type companion skills to be remote operated. 3) Missions produce items and if the server cannot check your bags to see if you have room because you are not logged on that char, it cannot put the item into your inventory. solution since you are commanding other companions they will report back to you so they can either give you the items, but that circumvents the mail system and i do believe there is a small charge (cred sink) to mail an item or for a small amount of creds, say on par with the item mailing cred amount you can tell them to mail it to their owner char. thats all i can think of now let me know what you think PS ignore the 3 word LP.... couldnt even come up with a reason just a flat 'um no thanks'..... stupid trolls
  8. As many of you know when leveling and questing gearing ones companion is just as important as gearing yourself currently to check to see if an item is better/worse than your companions you have to mouse over the item, ignore the comparison of your equipped item, and manually figure out if the item is better than what your companion is wearing, and then an item your companion can wear you may not be able to wear so it is grayed out, that is if you have your companion as your active and he/she are able to be selected in your character tab. and you aren't on your speeder/mount. This is a headache to say the least. Suggestion add a new pop up window (or add to the current character © tab or the Companion tab (N) ) that allows one to select from all of your companions which will display a sheet identical to their character sheet. it will need to be effective while Bags are open, or GTN is open, or your bank is open or you are looting. it will have Damage, defense, ranged, etc. as well as their item layout and their stats and player frame just as it appears in your char tab now. when their sheet is open/active all comparative tool tips will default to them and items will show up in your bags as what your companion can/cannot wear instead of what your character can/cannot wear. the comparative tool tip layout will be exactly the same as when you mouse over a piece of equipment now with the Gains in Green and the losses in red. you can select any of your companions at any given time but you can only put equipment on your active companion and you can only select one companion at a time of course (it could be added later that when you are on your ship you basically have all of your companions as active and can have their equipment swapped at will regardless of active or not) This will allow searching the GTN for companion upgrades a hundred times better and allow for smoother interaction of players with the environment the Devs created... another thing that i saw while searching for a similar thread was the inability for us to roll on loot for our companions brought up in this thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=502508 by Haseen to sum him up he said that he has seen too much gear that his companion could have used get Destroyed because Need is for your char, Greed is for Sale, and dissemble is to trash. he suggested a Need > Companion > Greed > Disassemble layout on the roll popup. feed back is much appreciated and if you view and agree please post your additions and or problems that you believe may arise from such an addition to SWTOR.
  9. that is a great idea IMO... there is a lot of meat shields out there that suck up damage like a sponge and continue to truck... Support.
  10. i agree with your first paragraph your second i agree with as well but would like to add to it. kind of like achievements some could even come with rewards similar to the legacy system. like kill 30000 enemies receive a special item or costume or something along those lines. PvP leaderboards are a great idea this is the very futuristic so you could have a board that is enormous in the combat area that lists out the top 10 PvPers on the server for that side, it could even be split into categories (Top Kills, Top MVP Votes, top honor) and it could further be split into (day, week, month, year, overall) i like the top open world kills but that will never change... however you could list all the names of people in attendance...
  11. for those military types this a huge plus... i enjoy seeing time in 24 hour format so i like things that allow the option to view in 24 hour format.
  12. Addendum: the 1 Friendly/1 Enemy option will allow for a true Battle medic to emerge where they can throw heals till friendlies are full health then throw some damage downrange to contribute.
  13. problem is Different Situations call for different weapons... when i go to Pvp i want a weapon that has a ton of Expertise but when I PvE i would prefer one that doesn't and currently to removed any item modifications you are required to pay creds to remove them to prevent their destruction to get replaced. i can understand reducing the number of weapons one gets by increasing the amount of item modifications available to a player. the problem is more prevalent in dual wielders having 2 weapons to worry about as opposed to 1. what about item looks... i would get sick as hell if my blaster looked the same throughout the game. one of the big draws to upgrading your gear is what you look like (yes humans are superficial...so are aliens) to fix that last point the gun/saber skin would have to change depending on the mod that was put into the blaster/saber.;.. if you put a new barrel into a gun have a new graphic for the barrel etc.
  14. This will be complicated... currently in PvP you are put into 2 categories: Damage or healing, However sometimes the situation calls for a Healer to throw some damage or a DPS to throw a few heals in clutch situations. Adding the ability to have a primary and secondary Target will allow for smoother PvP in the future. How it will work: pop up box with the 3 options below on tooltip: 1 friendly targeted and 1 enemy targeted: when you use a damaging ability it will go to the Enemy Targeted and when you use a healing/curing ability it will go to the friendly target. if either target dies they will be removed as a current target just as it is now. pressing tab will select a the next closest enemy. Pressing Shift+Tab will select the friendly with the lowest health that is in range. if your friendly dies they will be removed as a target and pressing shift+tab will select the friendly with the lowest health that is in range. same if your enemy dies. 2 friendly targets: you cant use damaging abilities just as it is now if you have a friendly targeted. when you use a healing/curing ability it will default to the primary target. pressing tab once will replace the primary target with the secondary target and the secondary target will be replaced by the friendly with the lowest health that is in range. pressing Shift+ Tab will switch the primary with the secondary. if either target dies they will be removed and not replaced by anyone. pressing tab will select the friendly with the lowest health that is in range as secondary target. if the primary was the one that died the secondary will be moved to primary automatically and pressing tab will select a new friendly. 2 enemy targets: using heal/curing ability will use the ability on yourself. when you use a damage ability it will default to the primary target. pressing tab once will replace the primary with the secondary and select next closest enemy. pressing Shift+Tab will switch the primary with the secondary. if either target dies they will be removed and not replaced by anyone. pressing tab will select the next closest enemy as secondary. if the primary was the one that died the secondary will be moved to primary automatically and pressing tab will select the next closest enemy. clicking on an enemy or friendly will also select them. also in the pop up it will have a list of target marks that when pressing tab will select the next mark according to the ops leaders orders to allow for easy focus fire in Ops. Feel free to add your 2 cents or point out any flaws or problems that may arise and i will attempt to address them, but please keep it civil
  15. the other day i went to the GTN to buy some schematics and found one that i wanted to make, bought it and tried to learn it but a message came up that i already knew it. simply add a line to the description that says "Already Known" if the player already knows the schematic.
