  1. Anyone else get this when logging into Harbinger? 4-9.2017, 12:33 PST. At times I do get past login screen but no servers are listed. Just wonder if it is me or...
  2. IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THIS CHAPTER STOP HERE Again thank you for this chapter.
  3. So.. 5 1/2 hours later, manually removing the game from the system as the uninstall would not work as the launcher was "Tango Uniform", re-downloading the FULL game from the web *32.9 gigs, so that was awesome* and running the launcher repair tool linked in this thread as the launcher on the full download did open for me to see *main reason for the full download* but would not load into the game, I am now able to log into the game. Not sure the cause of this train wreck of a patch, I for one did not have a good time. I feel as though I got no help from the developers on this issue. Thank you to all that replied to this thread.
  4. Ok, well I have deleted all files in the EA folders as I could not uninstall the game from the Programs and features in the control panel. Doing a Full install from the SWTOR website link to download the game. What's 28-30 gigs of data on my monthly package.. LoL
  5. Gotcha, I did run that file from that link. Game files still broken. That patch tool encountered several errors with the launcher.dll files, AV files, Launcher itself. It could not repair the launcher. There is no other repair tool? Thank you
  6. I saw that link from another poster. and unless I see a link on the website or from Tait in a PM not sure I want to run software on my gaming system, LoL. Thank you
  7. Yeah, had task manager open as I was using that to close the launcher after the failed update. So open launcher, start update, use task manager to close launcher, repeat.. on the 3rd start up the launcher would not open. I clicked the icon and nothing opens for me to see, task manager shows that something is running however there is nothing opening for me to see now. I was looking for a way to repair the game files as something broke on the failed update. A link from the SWTOR website as I wanted an official repair tool for the game files. I could not find it in the game folder as I thought there was a repair tool at one time. Thank you
  8. Thank you for the reply, is there a link on the SWTOR website for that file? The cdn-patch.swtor.com is not a website I have been to before. Thank you
  9. I got the 308 error on the patching process, closed the launcher, started the update again and now the launcher wont even open. I click on the icon, nothing happens, I click again and then there is a message that there is a launcher already open. I did a repair launcher from the directory. Still nothing opens when I click the launcher now. So how do I repair the game files as something got broke on the failed update. Thank you
  10. Really it is a no brainer, Hamster 1.0 has softer feets, they get sore faster and he slows down, Hamster 1.0 wheel does not have sealed bearings and so his lil wheel gets gummy and hard for him to keep it going with softer feets. Hamster 2.0, tougher feets, sealed bearings, more uptime. Really it is a no brainer.
  11. So it is 3am, I had to take a moment to allow this news to sink in and not reply with an emotional response. However, I am very upset. I was in the beta. I have played since the early start days. I had such high hopes that this was a MMO that I could play for years. Sadly, I see a game that has a smaller staff to fix a huge list of bugs. I see a game that will release new content before all the bugs are fixed to keep what few paying players happy and try to bring in new ones. I see a game that is on course to die a slow death. Programmers will be hired and fired, Producers will rotate out as better projects come along and in the end there will be a last note stating that it has been a great experience and Star Wars fans/players are the best. The words will be hollow... as the game died long before they were typed. My heart is broke.
  12. Just a note to say Happy Holidays to all the Bioware staff and families. I have played several MMOs over the last 10 years. I have introduced friends to TOR as their 1st MMO. No matter what you may read on the forums this is a blast to play. Thank you, and may the Force be with you.
