I believe it all started when some PoT5 viewers on Bastion streams were talking lots of smack about bad play, which resulted in what we're seeing now. People from the Bastion didn't randomly choose a different server forum and start posting for fun. PoT5 ignited the spark...

I'm guilty of this but for different reasons. So its true, some strong players/talent have rerolled on PoT5 from the Bastion. I asked around for reasons and the main responses were "Change of scenery" and "Hopefully better competition". I myself have not rerolled here (although if I did, it would be to play with some SWG vets, not for rateds specifically) as I have plenty to keep me busy at Bastion. Regardless, it will be fun/interesting to see what kind of mark these guys will make on PoT5 in a month or two. p.s. Why would you, as a Jugg/Guard, not spam the AOE slow if its spec'ed to cost no force? Laziness?

Not PoT5, but I see alot of familiar faces in this thread. I was Unbreakable, a BH on Chilastra. Also had a Jedi on Valcyn. May have to roll here and play with some vets lol

Don't worry, I'm sure they are working hard on Merc, to make it so they are more difficult to catch and can hide around corners more often to avoid damage. When you read something like the above, all confidence of dev knowledge concerning pvp goes right out the window.

Imp pugs were always bad, now its worse than ever with the influx of new players. Saw lvl 43 greens on some random 50 before wz started, I said "Nice leggings" and the response was "thanks" - probably thought I was really complimenting him lol

Just my opinion here based on some observations: Win/Loss Ratio; although interesting, has become less relevant. The percentages mean less now because of so many strong players with toons on both sides, who switch on the fly depending on Guild needs, friend needs, time of day or just plain riding the streak. Riding the streak is for example, when you notice Imp side is consistently stronger over Pubs so you switch to your Imp toon to tip the percentages in your favor. There is no faction loyalty anymore; just good players who play both sides depending on various factors. Because of this, when you're looking at win/loss %, you're beating and losing to the same people; think about it. What does the percentage really mean these days?

Regardless of his playing strength, he is a well-mannered player. And the moment you saw the fortitude stim, you should say something and offer help if this was in a wz. If he was chilling on fleet with a reflex stim active, who the **** cares.

I play a Jugg tank in PVP. Even if I was full time PVE, I would not enter group finder and be a verbal punching bag for pug bads. My time is more valuable than that lol Only my friends and guild members have the right to ask me to PVE tank something for them.
