  1. I'm a synthweaver. Cost for 10 green 49 items is ~10artifact fragments 20 vendor materials and 15 power crystals. Actually a bit less but i rounded up. And then 2 of those for kit and 2 of grade 6 sliced tech parts. I get parts for 500cr each on gtn, but if you know a slicer it's even less. total cost is 12 artifacts 22 vendored component and 17 power crystals +1k cr As a synthweaver i have archaeology. 1 lvl 6 mission is 1500cr. all those materials take about 6-7 missions. That's 10 cr cost (rounded up again). And about 3 min time spent on clicking. I make them while doing usual stuff. Ofc some people just sit there ogling progress bars and get themself an imaginary 'waiting time' tax of 25k. But that's it, 10k cr and afew min clicking. Considering i asked my guildies to supply me with necessary materials it costs me nothing, i made about 30 of them in 4 days without disrupting my usual activities.
  2. I did a bit research, but not in-depth. I didnt touch wilpower, jut considered it a must. So about ratings: at 0 surge 40 surge rating gives 6.6% crit mult; at 250 surge(~75% crit mult) 40 surge gives 1.5% crit mult. I consider that a softcap and suggest not getting surge over that number. Crit is viable all the time astarting from about 25crit rating per % at first and at 400 crit rating it's about 35 crit rating per %. Alacrity has same % progression as crit, but while 1% crit gives you 1x(crit mult)% increase in output, alacrity gives 1% for 1%. But it also makes you drain force faster. So it's your decision, check what you need more, faster heals or lower mana consumption. Power is most complicated, i'm a heal so i only considered it for heals. So i had 450 bonus healing when testing, and going 25 bonus healing down lowered my deliverance's heal for 90. 6 power is always 1 bonus healing. means 150 power is 90 health for 2.5 sec cast (and for initial rejuv as well but ~10 for each aoe/hot tick). for me with ~120 power and benevolence of ~2800 at that moment it was about 3.5% increase, rounding up to 40-45 power per 1% non-crit output (certainly the % number will decrease as your healz grow bigger) but if you remember that 1% crit always increases your healing by crit mult% ammount(0.75% for me) and power is cumulative with crit (not true for the other way), then 1% non-crit healing increase is 1%*(1+crit%*critMult%) and is about 1.3% for me (with smuglers+5 crit buff at 40% total crit and 75% crit mult). This way ~33 power increases total output by 1% at 390 crit rating 250 surge and 120 power and that is the best increase among all ratings (but alacrity if it's below ~200, but then alacrity eats your force). Dont forget that with 0 crit it'd still be 40-45 points per 1%, while crit would be about 20-25 per %. I's suggest getting surge to 200, power and crit to 300 and alacrity as you wish. then stacking power and ocasional crit. Willpower is complicated and really would disturb all the calculations ive made, it was 1500 for me when i did them. Just get as much of it as possible.
  3. I am not a PvP fan, but in 1.3 i believe heling sages got nerfed. They removed the bug where healing trance wasnt consuming buff from Rejuvenation and did something else which resulted in lower overal healing. Also i noticed Knigt's buff increases bonus damage and healing instead of all damage and healing. Maybe it always was like that and i just didnt notice
  4. More like berely lift it it and somehow float it in enemy's general direction. But it did look more like it looked in movies. Still like the new one. ^^
  5. I kind of like it, surely for those who are used to just stand in place and click buttons it doesnt look very good, but when i was doing a fast run of Taral, was throwing stones on the run and it looks COOL. I just run past things and with a lazy guesture hurl some stuff on them. It looks much more dynamic and much less avoidable.
  6. Leions of Lettow EU used to be most populated pvp server of English EU according to torstatus.net. Now it's empty. All the people went to tomb of freedon nadd, there're 99 50s on the fleet there atm, it's really crowded. I hope our guild makes a transfer there before it's closed. I really do.
  7. i'm not rushing my characters to lvl 50 so i have plenty of time to spend on my crafting and i ALWAYS have something worthy to craft. I keep a couple of companions on crafting missions all the time and have plenty of purple components. RE usually takes around 3 tries for me but yeah, sometimes it's 10 or 15, no use complaining, it's same for all. I'm pretty sure crafting just isn't your thing, whichever you pick you'll keep complaining.
  8. I disagree that jedi are masters of lightsaber fighting. Lightsabers are just uberswords invented by jedi. And jedi aren't masters of swordfighting, it's just that their mastery in the force gives them ability to predict the flow of combat. Still a sage just holding a sword and throwing rocks looks stupid, i'd prefer if my sage was able to cast without taking out his saber or only grab it if something is in melee range.
  9. After wandering a little around SW wiki i realized, there is quite a number of 'oh, that's cool' moments, but all of them are aimed at hardcore SW fans, watching 6 movies, reading a dozen books and playing couple of SW games was not enough for me. Those who played both KOTOR games and read a major part of SW based comics will enjoy game more. But still as it is it's extremely plain. It has huge maps but they are mostly empty. I have a habbit of checking every room of every building to see if there's something interesting there... In SWTOR this habbit brings me LOADS of irritation. But some moments look pretty nice, like at the entrance of justicar territory on corusant, where a justicar interrogates a couple citizens trying to leave. I thought at that moment it'll be all lively all the way on that map, but no. It proves that on the whole map justicars were just standing around totally ignoring a couple spies, a journalist, an old man and a girl with surgically altered eyes to the degree i wasn't sure if it's another alien species. One more moment: equipment. I hate most of corean rpgs because they lack equipment diversity. proves SWTOR is not immune to that too. Modded gear took place of that annoying +1/+2/+N system. But that would be ok if they had some kind of compensation. Like WoW has "+1 Ring". And that's cool. Why can't thay add some kind of "Luke's lightsaber" or something (Maybe they do have that but i don't know)? I can't say anything about crafting as i really like it there (probably what i like most). Interface customization looks Amazing at first but then you realize some elements can be swapped vertically but not horizontally and you can't enable HP text on companion's frame and stuff... Maintenances are long and pointless. They fix some minor errors noone notices on scheduled times and take servers down midweek to fix something that makes life for some players easier. (They did fix the exploit but not the crashing to desktop) And they did make a list of servers with individual up/down state when they take them down all at once. And they allow launcher to launch the game even when all the servers are down (ok, that might be reasonable). Even with all the new features i'd say they ditched the game after release. Why adding new content when you din't polish the old one? People who made maps were great. But they sucked at filling them with content. However wide the game is, if it's this shallow it's just a puddle. I'll keep my subscription for the next month, but then i'll see if GW2 and Tera are of any good, and if not, then i'll return to WoW. Okthnxbye. PS forgot to mention how all the classes are way too similar, like the only difference being 2 aoe and 6 various direct spells or 3 aoe and 5 direct spells.
