  1. Hello all, I am a founding player returning t game after a break and am looking for a guild to join. Most of my characters are Empire, but am looking for a fresh new experience on Republic side; so far I am liking my Smuggler a whole lot. I'm looking for a social, casual, matur(ish) guild that is into endgame or is serious about getting into it. I alos heavily enjoy pvp, as I queue up multiple times a day. I am helpful of guildies, and I put guild activities first. Any out there that fit the bill?
  2. I think I have a solution to public parse data that can be implimented in a way that will not foster negative intent and traits towards others in raids / encounters. Add a public tracking and parsing system for guilds only. So you can open your tracker and view results of a raid / encounter but will only show your guild mates, so you can atleast have some comparatie data, but will ensure that these comparisons stay between "friends". The main issues stemmed from raid pareses are usually in PUG raids where the leader(s) of the raid have high stipulations... thoughts?
  3. I have had 2-3 automatic shutdowns in the past few weeks of playing, only when SWTOR is on, and my machine has never done that before. In response I have systematically removed every ounce of dust in my tower and it has not happened again, but now I feel I will have to run my CPU monitor and check temps while running.
  4. I have been playing my Sith Marauder mostly and have noticed that I have adapted to the delay in character response. I read this thread yesterday and paid closer attention and sure enough had already adapted. Basically, there is a 1/2 second response time between me pressing any hot-keyed ability and the start of the execution. I find I am pressing the keys before the previous is completed execution and causing some to not fire out of combined impatience and anticipation of the delay, which causes me to button mash until I see an execution. The melee combat is totally not fluid, and while we may be adapting to this, it is something that will eventually take it's toll once the "new car smell" has worn off. Bioware need to seriously take an interest into this.
  5. I mainly play both a Sith Sorcerer and Marauder and there is key-to-action lag it seems. I have not been able to actively test if the lag is on my end or not, but it would seem that this thread is evidence to there being atleast some lag on the SWTOR end. Tonight, I will check my vid card drivers for updates and monitor my fps during combat. If this is resolved, then perhaps I will want to play my Marauder a bit more.
  6. I play a Sith Inquisitor and Jedi Consular and the classes are EXACTLY the same, except for the implementation of the spells / abilities. You get the same spells (named different) at the same levels; the feat trees are almost replicas of each other... It makes me really wonder how the other classes are. Does SWToR have 4 classes?
  7. Jump to conclusions much? How many were admitted per wave? How is server distribution going? (accounts / server?) Seems like you'd need to know this info before making an assessment.
