  1. Do the Launcher fix. the other "re-install the whole game" stuff sucks and is unnecessarily time consuming. I want to "PLAY" the game, not spend my day resolving technical issues that are WAAAAYYYY over my head. Yes, this is just as confusing as options trading analytics to some people. It was hard enough for me to download the game the first time. Go beyond button pushing and i'm lost. Just ask my guildmates. Maybe Ruffolofi(sp) should get hired?? :D Not saying the current development team is bad, just that more eyes looking at this massive amount of code can't hurt and ol' Ruffy has proven to helpful. Thanks to the SWTOR team for all the work. I LOVE this game.
  2. Long time sub here. I rarely post but this is getting out of hand with the pvp hacking, racist comments, etc. How about using Volunteer Moderators to help monitor/catch these incidents ? Small change to the volunteers UI with a couple of capture/report functions (or like another very popular MMO, you can actually empower them to do something about the incident). Not gonna whine about what happened but it is getting very frequent and is ruining gameplay. BTW, your reporting process is a PiTA. Your reporting system makes it too difficult to report cheating . I have used it in game to report an incident and behavior. If you want the details on the that, contact me. You have my information. After talking with a few other players about one such incident I discovered that many casual players have no idea how to screen capture/ text capture any evidence of ToS non-compliance. As it seems like (speaking from only my experience playing this game) most of the players are casual, that would affect report rates. As far as the moderators, make them go through an interview process just like a job (since it will be somewhat). I bet you could find a few good people. Wouldn't need many since the old servers are merged. I think it would go a long way to making the community feel like they are being "heard" when they can get an in-game response when they report cheating / bad behavior / etc as opposed to the "2-3 day wait"/"never hear from again" options that seem to be the current modus operandi. Heck, if you use experienced players, they might even be able to help with other in game play/ teaching issues. Just a suggestion.
  3. Dude, thank you sooo much for these. The way conquest points are tallied (repeatable vs daily vs legacy etc) is so confusing to me. Greatly simplifies this so I quit wasting time.
  4. I rarely post in the forums but it would be very nice to get an increase in more easily obtainable vendors (especially if we could get different looks on them *hey, that's a good idea for a cartel pack -THE VENDOR PACK*). One of the things I'd love to be able to get in my strongholds is MORE PEOPLE. I mean servers, slaves, droids, etc. Don't want strangers walking everywhere in my home. And, yes, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE CARTEL CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT SINCE YOU DON'T GIVE THEM OUT ANYMORE. Way too long overlooked issue. (really hope that hasn't already been fixed at the time of this post, I'll look like an idiot )
  5. I understand and can see the points of the "keep it high" arguments. I would like to suggest one more point. I am also in a small family guild and we waited and saved to get our flagship. I am not against the price being high but would like to ask for another method or lowering of the flagship encryption cost. We don't have the numbers to win weekly conquests nor the schedule flexibility to all be on at the same time and kill commanders. The current costs for the encryptions is very high when you are a small guild. We can make the credits but can't always get mats (gotta buy them on the GTN when available and we can't always run ops). Maybe something else so we can open the other areas in the flagships is what we're seeking. The flagship is mostly about "SWTOR Swag" and I accept that it should take smaller guilds longer but right now it seems to be just out of reach. Since it really has very limited effect upon gameplay interaction with others, I would hope the dev's could somehow make the "swag" more accessible to the small guilds. I agree with making it "not cheap" but putting it in the reaches of only larger guilds takes away game enjoyment for us little guys. Just a request and I know there's way more important stuff to fix (like speed hacking and scripting in the warzones!!) but I think this would be a really easy fix.
  6. (may be a stupid question but I have to ask) - I keep my mats in my legacy bank so I can share them with all my toons. When they are converted on Tuesday, I'm presuming the new versions will be in my legacy bank?
  7. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY SECOND THIS SUGGESTION !! I love the outfits I've put together on my comps and hate giving them up just to make them better in combat. The uniqueness my outfits give my comps (and the same for other players comps) is one of the things that sets us all apart and gives the feel of "my toons". In my guilds, it's a fun talking point and a little bit competitive to see who has the better looking comp. (BTW, the RP set thinks this is a requirement)
  8. I have all the SH's and go there as "something else to do" which this game has alot of. I love the variety of things to do in this game. Home decorating is a fun thing to do for me and I let my little nieces get on and play house when they're visiting. They think that's what this game is all about and love it. Anyway, to my response, I have a bit of a quirky side and would like to see Hoth and Voss. I strongly agree that I will not purchase one if it means giving up one in which I've invested soooo many cred's and so much time. Also, movable hooks would be nice along with the ability to resize some of the items. The limitations are annoying. I would also like to see a place to park my spaceship in each SH. I've got one on Tatt and NS but not Corus or DK. Gimme a floating platform just like on NS so my neighbors can see how special I am to the Republic/Empire. (A speeder platform which I could place my favorite ride - not beasts/mounts but a speeder - that would work like the taxi on NS would be great though I could see a mount/beast being used on Tatt / Voss / Hoth but not Corus or DK)

    Midbie PvP

How about a 35 - 50 bracket? You can up the lowbie, make a mid, and shrink the top? still going to be some rough times when you're low level in your bracket but not the 10 levels of "Thanks for coming, I needed easy kills" that the 30 to ~43's get now. (Though at 44 my Jedi Guardian still feels like he couldn't hurt a fly if he wanted to)
  10. I'm personally a casual player but I just did my daily/weekly pvp for the wz comms (I think that's what they're called) on my lvl 44 Guardian (pve tank spec). Couldn't get above 170 dps due to spending most of the time stunned/unable to act. I've noticed two things since patch 3.0 - 1/ levels 30 - 45 are pretty much toast against the ~53 and up due to the inability to put out much dmg (bolster doesn't seem to be working correctly maybe?) 2/ I agree the stuns are waaayyy out of control because the 30 to 45 ranges don't seem to have the multiple ways to get out of it that maybe the higher levels do? Not sure on that as I don't have any over 55 toons but on my 44 Guardian, I have two. Doesn't do much since some of this stuff is definitely not on the resolve system. This "stun, stay stunned, you are dead because you're too low to be playing with us big boys and can't reduce what we do to you with our incredible damage capabilities" does take the fun out of warzones at this level. Not sure what the fix is (I'm no Dev). I know I'm no "God of PvP" (totally casual player but I am a subscriber and will stay that way) but it'd be nice to at least be competitive.
