  1. I am at the Sunken City on Taris and after almost an hour of looking I cannot find this component. It takes 16 long tedious seconds to go through one cycle and I am losing my patience. It's crap like this that is the reason the new players don't get into online games. The obvious goal of wasting enormous time I could be playing the game is obnoxious and the reason more people don't play MMO's. Any help finding this component would be greatly appreciated because my patience is at an end.
  2. I can't wait to interact with all these new NPC's.... Oh, wait a second... Meh.
  3. I just bought this expansion and now Bioware is offering it free. Yes they sent me a thousand cartel coins...whoop dee doo now I can buy totally useless in game items. I consider this dishonest and I am wondering if anyone else has been stung by this.
  4. I agree with almost everyone...this planet is beyond tedious and there are way to many elites. Since I can no longer progress I am unsubscribing again. Obviously whoever is designing this game now has learned nothing.
  5. Now apologies in advance if this sounds snarly but I have to ask. I realize the demands of a functioning social life and occasional romantic life leaves me with much less time to play online RPG's, as opposed to some of the knobs I have encountered today. So perhaps I am not up on the etiquette for clicking need on pretend items during a Flashpoint. I was under the impression the way the game works is if you need the item, you click need, if you don't you click pass and if you want it to sell or some such you click greed. This is how I play and assumed of others as well. Some items that dropped I wanted for my companions so of course I clicked need on a couple of drops and got reamed out and booted. I even stated if someone wanted the item they just had to ask and I would hand it over, which I did for one of them. See I can do this because I don't actually give a cats behind about pretend pants on a silly video game. I pass on stuff all the time and give the items away if I am asked nicely. So what is the "rules" here...is needing on items for companions kosher? I would love peoples opinions.
  6. I am well geared and it does not matter. I am on the last guys on top of the ramp and every time I wipe the guys I killed respawn. I tried to get help but they just sent me a generic messege that did not address my issue. So I decided to pretend that this is the end of the game and my Jedi's death was the final chapter. Cancelled subscription and now I am just tooling about.
  7. I cannot beat Attis Station. I am a healer and I died at least ten times. One of the reasons I cancelled my subscription. I just don't have the energy to keep looking at it.
  8. Not letting anyone know I'm quitting, letting devs know why in the unlikely event they read.
  9. I am playing a Jedi Sage healer and I am now at level 37 and starting Chapter 2. I am not renewing for the following reasons: - I find myself constantly hitting space bar through conversations. Obviously this means the conversations are boring. - No interactivity whatsoever. You promised that characters would remember your choices, react to your reputation and the story would change. I have seen nothing like this whatsoever. I dislike being lied to. - I am sick of every quest being "Go here kill eight of that and come back so I can give you the exact same type of quest again". Is this really the best designers can come up with? It is extremely tedious and not at all entertaining. Shouldn't a Jedi consular be engaging in diplomacy and such? Is there an MMORPG rule that says the only game mechanics must be grinding useless monsters for hours on end? It is 2012 and you guys still design games like it is 1999. - Related to the previous point this game has non-stop mechanics that are obviously designed to drag the game out and waste my time. If your game was fun you would not have to try to manipulate your customers. - My crew is boring and wooden. The dialogue is rare and not interesting. And on my ship they just stand there like wooden dummies doing and saying nothing. If I am on my own ship why not have much more dialogue and interactivity? I don't care a lick for these characters and their sole function is to be my meat shield. Maybe it's my lack of addictive personality or masochism that other MMORPG players have but I don't see the point and my patience has been exhausted.
  10. I am at level 18, just got my ship and I have yet to make one decision that alters the plot. Does this story at any point start to branch or did I waste my money? Because the "Go here, kill all the crap there and come back" quests are wearing mighty thin.
