  1. Australasia as a whole has been hug out to dry. I cant justify the sub as a pvper with a 300+ ping.

  3. having ongoing lag, which is pervasive in pve and pvp. It affects me, daily, from 6pm to 10pm est - and had been happening for at least 3 months. I have unsubbed. I wont pay for lag - period.
  4. The new gearing system creates too many inequities. Premades just exasperate the issue. Not challenging and not entertaining.
  5. No need to worry about it, I uninstalled, just wasn't having fun and don't like the gearing system - creates too many inequities for my tastes. Good hunting to you all. And yes yes, I won't let the door hit me on the way out. : )

People need a reality check - "I can kill a healer pressing two buttons" or "totally balanced that 2 healers and a tank can hold out for 2 days against a team of 6-8 opponents", and of course "can't kill a healer, learn your class, (trololol)" and of course the classic "don't like it - leave! so there! take that <sticks out tongue>." Ok, I exaggerated, but I feel it's necessary, because you guys are smoking too much pot. This piss poor RNG gearing coupled with op heals is killing pvp. Massive 5.0 pvp fail. Totally unimpressed with the supporters of the status quo. Make pvp great again.
  7. It's about time this was implemented in PVP. My thoughts are that they have no diminishing returns when healing themselves, but diminishing returns apply when healing others. It's getting ridiculous.
  8. Calling customer service isn't a realistic option, as we live in Australia, and he (and I, for that matter) believes that the expense of an international call is unrealistic. Surely they have skype or something?
  9. Hi guys and girls, A buddy of mine, who has an old account, is trying to come back to the game. He has forgotten his password, so he can't long into his account. He cant reset the password, because it has a security key attached to his account. He cant reactivate his security key, because he needs to log into his account to get an activation code. He can't access customer service because he can't log into his account. How can he recover his account?

  11. As I've explained, it's irrelevant - there's no 'oh shiyte' button for the class. You are just diverting attention to question 'my' credibility, instead of addressing the argument. Apparently, I've been unwittingly using it anyway, and it has done nothing to enhance my survivability/force target switch. My original argument stands. If you feel more qualified to support that argument, then by all means. If you think it is flawed, then, please, by all means, educate me.
  12. I was looking at it from the point of view of the FOE mando bug,..which is mando only. Of course i know about mirror classes having the same abilities. The bug though, was new to me, as was the immunity (i'll have to read the ability description again). The immunity wouldn't change the outcome anyways, i'd still die in the example given (3v1) Please keep on topic of addressing the issues of the weakness in the merc class,
  13. whatever dude,...been playing the class as a founder,..but yeah, as you say, L2P, ..mercs don't need an oh shiyte button, what was i thinking. Seriously, address the issue, don't attack the player. Other mercs have expressed the same issue. Im positive in a 4 man, 90% of the time, they'd say, kill the merc 1st.   14. Keep in mind, there are 3 people to manage/delay, the stun stops one hitting me for a fraction of a second before he/she cc breaks - and using the cc break will help he for the aoe cc later on. The interrupt immunity after using power surge is news to me. Is that a mando thing, or available to the merc?
  15. Actually, the 2 instant casts is in there for flexibility. When being ganked by 3 people for instance, i can do, priming, tracer, HS missiles, (they are all on me now), pushback (which has extra distance), TO, switch target, stun, instant heal, switch target, electrocute, original target, ,blazing bolts, primer, tracer, (they have used their stun breaks, all at me again), seismic grenade (aoe stun knockdown), death from above (popping HO and running away wont put enough distance between you and opponents before they leap etc to you), shield, rocket punch to root 1, backpedal, switch target, blazing bolts (half a channel), priming shot, tracer (they are back on me), HS missile, one last electronet if i can (typically save it for assassins or operatives, so might have been fired earlier) - at this point i typically die. The sequence mentioned above does change depending on the circumstances, but that is the general gist of it. Note i did not actually kill anyone. Note i did not survive. Note the time period involved - i actually can pull off the survivability above 50% of the time Note that i would also be stunned and pushed as well - 30% DR is a must to buy some time. Note that if i am force choked, i will die in a third of the time. Note that blazing blots on the run wouldn't enhance my survivability. Note that i used a seismic grenade. I had to craft cybertech specifically to get this aoe knockdown. Note that there was no forced target switch away from me. Note that if dps assassins, sorcs or operatives are involved, i will die in 2 thirds of the time, with far less dps output. I know, i know what you are saying. L2P right? If i was a sorc,.. brace yourself,..immunity bubble (whilst getting self healed), then pushback rooting everyone, then sprint out of there. Heavy armor does not compensate for what i have just described a sorcerer can do above. Or an assassins phase walk, or a Juggs second effective health bar, or an operatives instant stealth and two barrel rolls. We need a target switch mechanism, an 'oh shiyte' button.
  16. In my experience, it wasn't real mobility in the sense that it could keep me at a distance went being pursed. That sin will still sprint at me, the jugg will still leap at me, the PT will still leap at me, the operative will still barrel roll behind me, etc, etc. So having a second instant cast seemed more viable. If you are pursuing, well, ok, can't use blazing bolts, still don't feel like that's a major downside. Have priming shot, tracer missile, heat seekers, and more. Then tech overdrive is off cd, can use instant casts again. I understand you maybe skeptical about it (i certainly was when i looked at switching back), all i can say is give it a go. My setup just resets the mercs abilities to pre 3.0. So if you're used to the pre 3.0 playstyle, you won't really be out of your comfort zone.
  17. Suit FOE is a 30% decrease in dot damage, if i recall correctly. How is this related to stuns? For a commando, given the bug above, its a must.
  18. So all of that stuff above, because we don't have a 'oh shyite' button as other classes do,..sounds like we are getting carried quite a bit for our survivability.
  19. I actually dropped thrill of the hunt. I used to think it was a huge asset, but realised quickly that the mobility advantage comes at the cost of either dropping 30 DR when stunned or not having Tech Overdrive instant cast twice. The cost of not having one of these, imo, outweighed the benefit of blazing bolts on the run. If you are backpeddling, they;ll catch you anyways, if they are running away out of range, just run after them and casts some instant shots instead.
  20. I'm an Arsenal speced merc. I use Tech Overdrive for 2 instant casts of an otherwise channeled ability, typically main heal, tracer missile or a stun. My mobility, i am looking at the speed in which i can get from point A. to point B. Other classes are far superior in this.
  21. Hard to deny the reasoning here, BW may need to outsource the development, and stick to their areas of expertise.
