Sorry but this video proofs nothing (reffering to clip description) : 1. fight vs gunnery commando (attacked by mobs) 2. fight vs gunnery commando 3. fight vs gunnery commando (with mobs) 4. fight vs assault commando (probably recruit gear) 5. "fight" vs sentinel (killed comapoion and run away) 6. fight vs guardian (as u can face-tank him probaby full tank spec) - only decent fight here 7. fight vs sage (49 lvl, attacked by mobs) 8. fight vs sentinel (after fighting with mobs, lost about 1/5 HP, guy reacts after few seconds) 9. fight vs gunnery commando (fighting with mobs) 10. no comments. I also experimenting with Arsenal and Pyro hybrid but don't get any succes with it, but i would like to see your build first then I can say more (as I can see u use very samll amount of skills - tracer, rail shot, unload and stun missile supperted by energy shield and jet boost).
  2. Got similar situation yesterday and today (not get million dmg but always in best 3 in dps), Pyro PT is boring as hell... But with high dmg on merc/mandos BW's metrics shine with bright light which tells them - merc is fine lets buff these poor glowsticks! Also one more thing. From my observation eniemies start to ignore me on the battlefield and can't interrupt me effectively. My point is - there are many FoTMs and F2Ps o WZs and mercs become quite rare so there were situations when ppl don't know how fight with mercs, they don't know them. That was odd and quite funny . Probably b/c of early time of my game so most of veterans were offline.

  4. There is no force on this Earth and in whole galaxy to make BW give us 30 m electro net. They think that 10 m stun is fine, so electro net would be 10 m for 100%. I know them too well.
  5. And u know that this HC 5% dmg reduction has to be stacked by 3 tracers/gravs? - interruptable, 1,5 s cast... That's made my day. I can't see any point of taking "assisant DD" (sic) when u put in his place full DD.

  8. I assume that 'cuz it's beetwen abilities for all Troopers/BHs and I don't see the any counterindications to be also VG/PT skill. So far as I know BW better and better I'm pretty sure that, if they add this skill to game will be for both ACs (and has 10m range). I didn't say that attack absorb is crap, but iif compare it with Sent/Mara reflection it's not that bright. Add to it current situation of Commando/Merc to Sent/Mara. First one is nerfed to the ground and useless, 2nd is viable PvP class and still Merc gonna get buff only "in half" as good as Mara.
  9. Let me clarifie about absorb force/tech attack - according to datamine it's gonna be chance to absorb next one tech or force attack (for ex. PT can still hit for 5k with rail shot - it's ranged attack) after using chaft fire/diversion (45 s CD). If u want to confront it with Saber Reflect, which gonna be reflceting all single target ranged, tech and force attack durning duration... For closer look to rest of changes check my previous post. Specially if u realize that electro net is for all Troopers/BHs - Mercs, Mandos, VGs and PTs.
  10. Got same feeling. I'm also highly disturbed about new content as whole, giving current bug situation (inscpect still don't work properly!)... but it's out of topic. Maybe a little, little... fix... last, small piece of hope... To lucianobck - yeah they could give u better escapes, we at the moment need any kind of escape (and many other changes...)
  11. Thats new skills don't shine that bright. Especially when u realize that this electro net, shield buff and shoulder cannon are BH/Trooper skills - for Merc, Mando, PT and VG. What's my point? Shoulder cannon - 10 m range - highly profitable for PT/VG, for Merc/Mando used only in emergency - PT on 10 m will melt u anyway, u gonna be probably in his electro net (and I'm more than sure that this electro net will has 10 m range!) so if u don't have cc breaker or Degauss... but PT still has 2 other hard, instant cc. I don't even have to write about it's usefulnes for PT/VG. Another skill PT/VG only - flame sweep/explosive surge has chance for trigger CGC/PC - slow for many enemies, profit for whole team. For Assault Commando/Merc - low cost of PS/CB (so u can spam it, they want ot make this 2nd Tracer/Grav or what?), cd of full auto/unload - yeah all I need to channel more (and over heat), dmg boost for RS/HIB, PS/CB and Full Auto/Unload - dmg boost is always nice. DMG boost for stock strike/rocket punch, IR/IM and AP/TD, it's profitable for both PT/VG and Merc/Mando. And the big finale - Arsenal/Gunnery excusives: 1. Chance to absorb incoming attack - nice 2. While Reduccing CD of Concussive Round/Concussive Missile is quite useless in PvP. From my point of view, I don't want to waste TO/PS for insta cast it and it's breaks on dmg crap. I think it will be going into space after "to be deleted" Power Overrides/Reserve Round. For reduce cd of TO/PS - it highly depend of its CD - we'll defend ouerselves/be useful only in appropriate peroids of time. 3. Reactive Shield is in Pyro/Assault tree, whitout interrupt immune during shiled it's garbage. To sum all up - PT/VG will get another piece of new deadly tricks and portion of usefulness for PvP team. Still I don't see point to take Merc/Mando to RWZ. Also I think all these changes (if ever gonna be introduced, maybe it's some old, unused ideas) it's gonna be in RoHC, when lvl cap will be increased.
  12. Imps don't use slaves as soldiers. The advantage of hight use of slave labor is free work force so they can pump more money to military and science projects (also hire mercenaries). It's quite efficient technic - even some senators in Republic Senate were planning to introduce slave labor in Galactic Republic.
  13. I think, small amount of defetions in Empire comes from mentality of Imperial peaople - like in many totalitarian systems, they kinda "brainwashed". Second thing - killing own is quite common in Empire - you name only small amount of reason of death in Imperial Armoed Forces. Guy named Darth Acharon was killing his soldiers almost for anything - from mission failing to bad boot polish. Numbers goes in hundreds. Thing is - Imperials has less men than Republic and still wasting them in stupid causes like Siths personal desires. But hey, they got money from slavery so can hire Mandos and other mercs .
  14. Empire discrimination in SWTOR has bigger range than that. For ex. RoHC trailer - We can only see Republic response. Also in main SWTOR cinematics we can't see Imperial Agent, when all other classes have their episodes. In some of FPs enemies have "links" with Empier - Mandalorian Riders, The Red Ripper. Ofc they are defectors etc but I'm sure that in such huge creation like Galactic Republic must be some groups who don't agree with current political stalemate - I met some kind of this on Balmorra during BH storyline.
  15. Yep, its not hard to notice after almost 100 pages of this thread . All I have to say it that BW will never give us cover. Besides I highly doubt that BW gonna giva us something brilliant. I threw towel too - my Commando and Mercenary are on indefinite vacation. Got full WH + 2 EWH on PT and thats it. After some obervation on our server (TOFN) population of PvP'ing mercs/mandos is getting low, which is nice, maybe devs will learn something from that.
  16. Yep we were going through this few times here. Giving cover mechanics is not at option - it's pointless to copy other class, it's sniper/GS's reward from having medium armor etc... For a 2nd tweak - old mercs and commandos sure remember - we already had it in the past. It was called electro dart/cryo grenade - 30 m, instant, 4 s hard stun. To this day in secret, underground lab, special group of brightest minds on Earth is trying to investigate what was in head of a guy who thought that RDPS need 10 m stun instead of 30.
  17. Nice idea but when pyro PT/assault VG gonna get this - almost all time on shield: CD - 60 s +Energy Rebounder/Reflexive Shield. He already has 2 instant stuns, slow and Grapple/Harpoon. With root ability there will be no escape.
  18. Ohh u don't get the idea. Let me try to explain. When I was talking about agnles I was thinknig about instan abilities - heatseeker, exp dart etc - dont have to strafe. 2nd thing -> link it's not like casting through walls but cast whitout line of sight. The idea comes to me when I was playing BF BC 2. It's something like on this trailer -> link
  19. Today i get new, crazy idea : Guieded missiles - The ability to shoot missiles at all angles to enemies - for ex. when run away with enemy on the back. To activate ability u need one stack of heat siganture - missiles will be, from this moment hitting enemy regardless of your angle to him. Also can works from the wall - u don't have to see him to hit him. Can work well with tracer - u hit badguy once, run away behind corner and start to cast - your missiles will still reach the target. Also can work with heatseeker - for escapes specially - just run, and launch. Also thinking about convering it to Commando - maybe some laser desingator... This idea is for fun and entertainment purposes, pls no hatin - just something more creative than normal bump. cheers.
  20. The sadest thing at all is that even so many constructive and cool ideas to fix merc/mando BW don't giva a damn. They probably don't even read this thread anymore. I higly doubt about any changes in upcoming 1.7. Nice thing that our cause has very big social support, even no merc/commados are here, so thx. I don't know is there any bigger hate/QQ topic on PvP - and hate/QQ in the best way it can be . For now i just need my 30 m stun back... (not this breaks on dmg, casted, PVE crap)
  21. Since last patch all jetpacks in game don't have flame animiation anymore :/ - durning, for ex. death form above and recharge an reload. Now with all armors, flashes come out from boots - ofc some of sets have this too but they don't have typical jetpack (like WH). Now all armors have this stupid, boot animation, for ex. my RD-16B Enforcer. Can u fix it? I was so happy whan i put my WH mods in enforcer... PT's have nice flames when using flame sweep and jet charge.

  23. First of all my impression of being merc/commando in present time. I feel like infantry grunt when I must fight with gang of special forces guys - all got high tech gear, unbelievable skills etc. What I got? My weapon, some grenades/rockets, first aid kit, nothing much. I must hide, use natural environment (sometimes I see i'm better with hiding than some snipers/GS). Must use guerrilla tactics without fancy stealth tech. For now this AC is really tough... Feel like common storm trooper in SW movies when all other are like Han Solo, Darth Vader, Luke etc. But enough of my thoughts And here my ideas: I mostly play as pyro/assault tho I got experience in Arsenal/Gunnery too. Nice thing will gonna be instant apply of combustible gas cylinder/plasma cell like PT/Vang. Can be putted instead of useless talent that improve alacrity (for pyro/assault tree). Still thinking about ability (something instant , 30 m range but with cd). From other posts, I think that short time speed is critical to have and in arsenal/gunnery - root durning duration of unload/full auto. Also immunity for interrupts when in power barrier. Oh and get back 30 m stun! For the end - mr Austin Peckenpaugh really thinks that we gonna hide behind corners? So be like snipers but whitout cover and any benefits, yes? Whit bunch of chanel/cast skills? I hope BW got someone a way more competent because this guy is clueless and ruin us as for this time, this AC is unplayable for most ppl.
