  1. Having every character betray you is not good writing. It's frustrating and repetitive. SCORPIO's betrayed us, Oh look there goes Koth...OH look it's Senya's turn. Who's up next?

And all of this "choice matters because GRAVESTONE lawl" nonsense is also ridiculous. What's BW going to do? Have the player face off against the fleet without the Gravestone and get blown to bits, finishing with deleting my character because it's dead for real? I doubt it. In an expansion in which we heard "choice actually matters' ad nauseum, there was nothing that really made any difference. It doesn't help that my character is apparently a moron. Go shove a lightsaber in Arcann's face before you leave. Sixteen chapters about killing him. Go make sure he'd dead! Senya had time to betray us and save him. We had time to finish him off. There were no satisfying endings to any storylines. What's Valk up to? What's with Satele and Marr? Bring me Saresh and Acina. Give me retribution to ANY one of the people who've betrayed me. Nope. Nothing. Nada.

I know BW storytelling. BW games have been my favorite story related games ever. So immersive and so deep and detailed. This expansion just got more and more disappointing and then ended with a slap in the face.

This is the last time they'll receive my money. I know people don't care, but honestly this game doesn't have so many fans that it can afford to lose too many subs...it's not WoW. I really hoped I'd get something after 15 chapters of build up. There was ZERO satisfaction...only more frustration and disappointment. Such a shame. Such a waste.

  2. Add up all of the betrayals that our characters have endured. How many of gone unpunished?

    ALL OF THEM.

Koth wanders back onto the ship after betraying us? KILL HIM damn it. Oh wait no he betrays us again. Shocker.

  3. Really disappointed that the agent's dialogue is exactly the same as all the others in regards to SCORPIO and the Gemni story. Why bother to bring back companions at all if our shared history is just ignored? Just create a new super droid that no one is actually connected to or share a history with. After a really strong start, this story has really tanked in the second half for me. I don't really care what happens to these shallow, plug and play characters.

I haven't taken my agent through KOTFE yet (poor guy's stuck at 60 still) so I wondered how the agent would've handled SCORPIO. I'm disappointed to hear that there's no difference at all. Our classes and our history with them are what makes us stand out and if they aren't going to reference that at all, then the game loses a lot of storytelling appeal. Essentially 60 levels of prior history is meaningless.

There still are little nuggets that I enjoy, like in Ep. 12 when Valkorion barks at my sorc, telling her that he isn't some member of the Dark Council that I can order around. I paraphrase, yes, but it really put a smile on my face thinking back to my old power base xD

  4. My sorc has had enough of cleaning up messes caused by other people. The only way that the galaxy will remain stable is if she's the one running it. Everything is a means to that end.

Do I think that's where this game's heading? No. The SW games and movies for that matter are always about being the underdog and fighting against the bad guy. There will always be some reason why we are not in command.

  5. You can just pretend that you went back and choked the life out of the little twerp, they are all "disposable" NPCs anyway, so you'll never see them again either way. :D

There is nothing like making the decision and watching as your warrior chokes the life out of a treacherous snake. Pretending that you did it is not even in the same realm as actually seeing the light leave his eyes. The warrior needs to take care of a few pieces of betraying filth. I swear I'm not bitter. Not bitter at all.

    DIE QUINN DIE!

  6. Why is my warrior allowed to kill one of these two, but Quinn is still allowed to breathe?! I'm still bitter about that and I suspect that I always will be. First chance I get (if one ever presents itself) I am sticking my lightsaber through his traitorous face!
  7. There are a lot of great class stories. Warrior is just one of them.

I really enjoyed Inq, Jedi Knight and Warrior. I enjoyed Inq the most, but that's just because the class and the story speaks more to what I enjoy about SW.

  8. Since the moment I met his whiny rearend I've wanted to show him the power of the dark side. I really hope that he makes an appearance in CH 16 so that my sorc can show him the price of betrayal. Eat some lightning Koth!
  9. I am simply choosing to not bother with Qyzen. Compared to some of the others this is a very bothersome quest. I don't even care for Qyzen so I won't mind not having him in my Alliance. Between this and the silly, forced PvP guy I am almost satisfied with my Alliance. Then I can unsub and wait for new story content.

Thanks BW for making these decisions easy for me.

  10. I'm looking forward to seeing just what comes of that decision. I have 4 60s ready to go so I can see different outcomes from choices. My main (sorc) won't kneel and my sage won't kneel, but my warrior will and my smuggler will. This way I get 1 Pub and 1 Emp kneeling and not.
  11. I had held out hope that he wouldn't die, but alas my dreams of a strong and breathing Marr through KotFE were not meant to be. I will avenge the Empire that he worked so hard to keep together, and change for the better.
  12. I normally don't make my font this big, but I feel like too many people are ignoring a possible answer:

The Eternal Empire exists in Wild Space, which is slightly outside the Galaxy. I believe Vitiate intended to eat everyone in the Galaxy and then have his Eternal Empire take over the dead planets. The Sith would have been the sacrificial child for Zakul and the Republic, an annoyance turned into food.

Yup and when the Jedi Knight character asks Lord Scourge why the Emporer would want to consume all life in the galaxy when he would be left with nothing to rule, Scourge responds with something along the lines of "This is not the only galaxy in the universe". There are other star systems out there for him to rule once we are all dead.

  13. *does a happy dance*

This will save a lot of time. Between movement keybinds that I change, and quickbar keybinds across multiple bars, this will be such a welcome change. I eat up 10-15 minutes every time that I set up my new characters (UI arrangement, keybinds etc.) so knocking out the keybinds will help BIG time! It doesn't sound like a lot but when you are really just doing the same things over and over for each, it's quite annoying

  14. The one that sticks out for me the most is from the Bounty Hunter class story. It is a spoiler so tread lightly:

When you arrive at the Ch. 2 ending party and have to clear out the Republic trash that crashed your party. After killing every 'Pub there, my female BH told Master Jun Seros, "How high do I have to stack the bodies before you get the message?"

Still makes me laugh thinking about it.

  15. That's a nice little way to deal with him still being around. I may have to go get some cyborg-ish gear for my Quinn. I still remember when he betrayed us, I was fuming at my screen because I wanted to kill him. I get that, for game purposes we couldn't, but he gets ZERO punishment?! Seriously!? I would've sent him soaring out of my ship's airlock if he pulled this garbage. It was a while ago that I first experienced his backstabbing and it still makes me angry that I still have to tolerate his presence.

As it stands, I am forced to choke down vomit whenever I see this filth on my warrior's crew. It's made worse when I need to take him with me because I'll need a healer. Fortunately this problem will be fixed in KotFE and I can take whomever I want with me. This cyborg idea is a nice way to work around this. Thanks OP!

  16. I'm going to look at this from the dark side Jaesa perspective because she is my favorite companion.

I want her to live, but I wouldn't be surprised if she dies. She's a very proactive Sith that is really passionate about the dark side of the Force (if you go that route). If the Wrath is captured (or she believes him killed) she would unleash her anger upon the Eternal Empire and probably die. While I would be sad to see her dead, it's how that death is handled that would be key for me.

You don't just sweep that under the rug and move along. I can't see BW just killing her off and moving on. Jaesa is a pretty big part of the warrior storyline with an entire Chapter dedicated to her and then she can become the wife of the Emporer's Wrath. I would expect some Wrath wrath to be dished out upon Zakuul with some snappy revenge lines thrown in there from the Wrath. My Wrath (my dark one, not my light one) would probably murder every single person on Zakuul to sate his anger and the death of his wife would motivate him throughout the campaign.
