  1. They won't do anything about the people that have already taken advantage of it. If the word on the street is correct, tons of people or doing it game-wide. The only option is roll back, and having to roll back day of a massive MMO launch is a death blow. I'm sure they will fix the problem in the coming hours and leave the players be.
  2. Because some people are competitive?
  3. The beginning of the biggest launch failure in MMO history is in the making here. Lets see how EA handles this one.
  4. I'd rather be crashing and waiting in a queue then waiting for a mysterious email that might not even come until next week... This launch is a giant f'ing failure and only some brainless BioWare drone can agree with alienating a large portion of the community.
  5. Wow, massive exploiting and most people can't even play the game... LOL, what a failure EA.
  6. With this exploit information going public, it's becoming a serious issue. If BioWare doesn't do something soon, this game will go down as the worst launch in MMO history. It really doesn't get any worse then masses of people exploiting the crap out of your game, while at the same time even more people can't even play it.
  7. BioWare doesn't exist. It's just a label hiding over the big bad EA name to keep the loyal fanbois around.
  8. So Fatman will be the 10 hour queue server, thanks for the heads up.
  9. Doesn't matter any more to be honest. If EA wanted to help keep this issue irrelevant, they would have had to do it pre launch. Now that the game is out, people have already established servers for the most part. By putting ratio meters in now, it would just alienate the already low population side, as no one would roll on a server already being dominated. PVP servers need strict faction regulations if they want to be successful, but at the same time people are to selfish a needy to accept such restrictions.
  10. You can use any excuse you want, it still doesn't justify alienating a large portion of the player base.
  11. EA wants to limit as much spending as possible, that's the only reason for this type of launch. They monitor the servers and add them as they need them, rather then dropping tons of money and coming out with a bunch of useless servers. With EA it's all about least effort for most rewards, and that's all. EA doesn't care if you get 3 FPS in newb zones with random crashes. They care about the best possible way to earn the most revenue, that's it. Since you already bought the game, they've already won. Now it's just control the situation into the best profitable scenario.

    Faction Imbalance!

Yeah, I plan on rolling Imp, but if servers are going to be as imbalanced as it's looking like, I might just say screw it and roll onto a PVE server. I've been on an imbalanced PVP server, and it isn't fun on either side of the fence.
  14. I'm more worried about how the PVP servers will unfold after all this. I don't think it's going to be very fun entering the first contested zone to an area full of max levels steam rolling everyone...
  15. I'm guessing July is probably more people then every month thereafter combined. My guess is everyone will be in by the 3rd day.
  16. I actually see more people complaining about complainers complaining, then actual early access complaining?
  17. As long as Origin is around, this game will NEVER be compatible with steam in any way.
  18. The problem I see with this, is now that these servers are established, opening news ones is worthless. People are going to be rolling onto the servers that their friends or guilds went onto, and that will be all this wave of servers. The majority of people from this point forward are only going to roll onto already established servers.
  19. I'd say if you didn't pre order the game on the first day, you're definitely not getting in today. Once the first two days worth of waves go out, I'm sure it will pick up and everyone will be in the by the third day.
