SWTOR and 1440p Gaming: Not so CPU bound.
Spincrossover replied to ZionHalcyon's topic in General Discussion
Hi all! Thanks for the thread! A couple of guild mates (me included) will upgrade computers in the near future. We will go for a build very similar to yours (Ryzen 5 3600, rx5700XT, MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC). Do you maintain the same performance without frame drops? Thanks in advance for the response! -

Ongoing European Server Latency Issues
Spincrossover replied to TaitWatson's topic in General Discussion
In ToFN the lag spikes are better but nor resolved. The lag switches between 60-400 ms in my case (previously i had 50-60 ms). An this is something common among all my guild mates. The situation is not fixed (at least not for everyone in Europe). -
Ongoing European Server Latency Issues
Spincrossover replied to TaitWatson's topic in General Discussion
I play on ToFN server and both me an my Guild have experienced this lag spike situation where every couple of minutes the "connection bars" go red for 2-3 seconds and everything just lags. This happens in Warzones, Operations, planets, etc. As far as we could test it it happens everywhere. I don't know if its related or not but in Wz's (and only in this environment) we have also experienced major loss of frames sometimes dropping to less then 10 (in the same machines where prior to 3.0 the lowest we got was 50 FPS). Best regards -
I am the member of a Portuguese guild but on the rep side. I don't know if there any active imps guilds any more...

Hello all! I am Bruno'Wan GM of Infinito. I would also like to thank Irisa for the initiate. I feel that something very good for the community can yield from this discussion. I wanted to share some ideas with you all to see your opinion about them. PVP I think that the benefit of scheduling an arena "prime-time" is obvious. I would suggest two days days a week (one working day and one on the weekend). In the working day I would suggest scheduling three hours (say from 21:00 to 00:00 server time). In the weekend I suggest two intervals one during the afternoon (from 15:00 to 19:00) and from 21:00 to 00:00). This would serve as a tool to concentrate the maximum number of teams possible in order to reduce queue times and increase the variety of different teams (with different compositions) that each one would face. In my opinion if you schedule an entire day the chances that the teams scatter is reasonable. PVE I believe that it is possible to also schedule two prime-time days for progression. In these days via chat and/or Voip the different guilds would communicate in order to fill each other gaps (if one guild misses a tank the other can provide, etc). In another level two or more guilds could team up during the events to do 16 man OP. We at Infinito would be more than happy to host these events in our TS (and show to all the world renowned Portuguese hospitality ). One final word to reinforce a point approached by Irisa. Sometimes (mainly at the PVP level) the attitude towards a player with less skill is very negative and can only contribute to degrade the servers environment. I understand that some of these players from start to finish only complain with everyone (blaming everything and everyone for their poor performance) but there's a lot of guys (and girls) out there that doesn't know better because no one ever took the time to explain. If we could all (specially the ones that have a greater knowledge of class/WZ mechanics) spend just a couple of minutes trying to "educate" these players the gains to everyone would be enormous! I really feel that we can improve the current state of our server if we all work towards the same objective.

I think that this should be fixed. In my opinion the logical thing for Hammer shot to do when no one is targeted is trigger the self heal. As an healer the most common method i use to heal myself is click on the terrain and use an healing ability. It makes no sense for it to damage the nearest target (that could be controlled by some form of CC for example).

PvP Infiltratation Crit Chance & Accuracy?
Spincrossover replied to Remh's topic in Shadow / Assassin
The problem with accuracy in my opinion is not related with the shadow strike (although it can spoil your burst) but with low slash. When i play infiltration i need my Low Slash to be deployed 100% of times i need to. Otherwise i loose a big part of my gameplay. I use 2 enhanc. with accuracy to bring it a little over 95% (in my experience i would say it fails less than 5% ). With this level of accuracy i almost never miss a Shadow Strike also. In terms of crit i use 22-23%. Also from experience i found that this crit was enough to spent my 3 charge of potency in the majority of times. Cheer's -
Indeed it was! Thank you!
