So, my biggest question, which has gone kinda unanswered, is what's stopping a bunch of galactic terrorists from slamming into a planet at light speed or hyperspace and causing a mass extinction? Someone said that gravity wells would pull them outa hyperspace, but made it still sound like they could hit the planet.

Are they any good? I've been planning on reading them, however I've heard some bad things about Revan. Does it stay true to Kotor and its atmosphere? Or should I avoid it? And what about the other books?

I'm aware the lore hadn't been written when the movie came out. I was just wondering if their were a reasonable in-universe excuse for their actions. Perhaps Tarkin was going against the Emperors wishes, and Vader wasn't in a position to do anything or just wasn't Sith enough to care about the temples. He does seem to be pretty emotionally repressed.

It was Alderaan, they never managed to destroy Yavin, but they were intending to. Just doesn't seem to make sense to me, seeing how it was an adopted home-world of the Sith Massassi.

A place a seemingly cultural significance to the Sith, yet the Empire was permitted to blow it up with the Death Star. What's up with that?

Kinda of a minor reference of no importance. But I thought it was cool how at the beginning of the Smuggler story line, someone refers to the recently shot down walker that the Trooper began in. Made me feel like my trooper was out there at that very moment.

So, in the Empire, Stormtroopers are described as being the elite soldiers of the Empire. Yet there the the most numerously depicted Imperial Soldier in any Star Wars publication. So which is it, Elite or common foot soldier? And what would an example of a "average" soldier of the Empire? And where the hell is the Stormtrooper emote!?!

While that is an excuse (unless I read it in the Codex), It does seem a little odd Bioware can't get their own facts straight. I'm not trying to criticize, I love Bioware and this game. But its just odd.

But what about planets populated with solely non-sentient lifeforms. Such as planets populated by dinosaur like creatures or invested with bugs, with no culture or anything. Realistically if life where to evolve at all on the scale it does in Star Wars in the galaxy, the majority of planets would be dominated by creatures like this, or single-celled organisms. And I was think along the lines of what would prevent a ship from hitting a planet at faster than light speeds and potentially causing a mass extinction? Kind of like 9/11 x 1,000,000. Do Planets have a mass shadow to pull them out of hyperspace?

1. What is the meaning of "ooine" as found in the planet names Tatooine and Dantooine? Does it have some sort of cultural significance? What about Mos Espa and Mos Eisley. Seams allot like names such as San Francisco or Los Vegas. 2. Hyperspace regulations. Is there such thing? Whats to prevent a ship from blasting into a planet and causing a mass extinction? Or if a ship is coming out of hyperspace above a highly trafficked planet such as Courscant. What rules or regulations are preventing it from hitting another ship? 3. So far each planet we go to in Star Wars seems to have only one main environment, government, and culture dominating the entire planet? Are their any exceptions? How about planets with multiple nations and cultures like earth, or whose denizens are still in a early prehistoric era, living like cavemen. What about a planets who's life is still primitive, like ours in the Mesozoic eras or Precambrian eras. 4. What are the Religions like in Star Wars? Is there only the force? What about gods, do they have any? Do they have their own mythology's like we do? Or is all the hype on the Sith and Jedi?

Also, Swtor claims that Taris was destroyed hours after Revan arrived there. However in Kotor, after you crash land, Carth tells you that you've been slipping in and out of consciousness for days. Perhaps he was referring to time you spent on the ship, but I didn't get that vibe. There are also quite a bit of quests on Taris. Seems like a little to much for a few hours.

What happened to him after the canon events in the Star Forge? My memory of the end of Kotor is quite vague, and Wookiepedia doesn't say much about him after his battle with Revan, so did he just drop off the face of the galaxy, did Revan kill him? I seem to remember being able to spare his life.

I believe Indiana Jones' fedora makes an appearance in that episode also. I may be mistaken.

Is it possible to edit the population cap in this game? Now I'm not talking about the number of troops you can have in a battle, but the amount of units you can build overall, while your at the galactic map? And could you also edit the amount of troops each planet begins with? Cause it frustrates me that the planets have such terrible defenses right off the back, and as I'm trying to build a respectable fleet on Coruscant about 5 of my systems are conquered.

I realize Droids don't have force powers, and therefore can't be Jedi or Sith. But you could still play a Droid with lightsabers, which I agree would be pretty stupid, but it can still be done. C3PO is a protocol Droid, so I wouldn't expect much agility from him, but I see no reason why Droids of this era must be slow and clunky. Look at the HK assassin droids, they seem to be able to perform at levels similar too Imperial Agents and Troopers, so why couldn't droids be a playable race for non-force wielding classes? Science doesn't advance much in the Star Wars universe, the era our game takes place in is pretty much just as advanced as the era the movies take place in. I believe they have a sci-fi name for this type of society, one where its so advanced that the evolution of technology comes to a near halt, but whatever it is slips my minds. Yoda's race has no name, on the wookiepedia there simply called "Yoda's Species". Perhaps casual gamers would think its cool to have a bunch of Wookie smugglers and cute Ewok Jedi or Yoda troopers. However it would feel lore-breaking and remove from the realistic Star Wars atmosphere of the game, and the mystery behind the species, in my opinion. It would be better to add more common and mainstream races such as Rodians and Togruta.

The Droid Commandos from the Clone Wars were pretty agile, and IG-88 had extremely fast reflexes. And while he wasn't a Jedi or Sith, General Grievous fought with lightsabers. I know he was a cyborg, but it stands to reason a droid could also. I would love to see the Draethos, Kaleesh, Rodians, Droids, Ithorians, Utapauns, Togruta, Kel Dor, Trandoshans, Bith, and Gand as playable races. However there are some races, in my opinion, that just shouldn't be playable. Like Jawas, Tusken Raiders, Wookies, Ewoks, Yoda's Species, or Hutts (for obvious reasons). It just wouldn't seem right. Being able to play a Yoda or a Wookie would ruin the whole atmosphere around them. Imagine hundreds of Yoda's running around, it would be awful.

Wouldn't it be awesome if, in the future, your characters companions could be other characters you've created? Say you have multiple characters. And they could somehow all be integrated into your story. Maybe threw the Legacy system. You could pick there back-stories, personalities, and relation to your character. And perhaps it could go beyond that. What if threw the Legacy system you could create the antagonist of your personal Star Wars saga.
