  1. 1. Huttball 2. Civil War 3. Novare Coast 4. Voidstar this is of course just my own opinion.
  2. i was sent here from a thread that was consolodated, and did not read much of this monster, so im sorry if im repeating something, 1.2 million playrs over 200 servers = an average of 6000 players per server. Anyone see any evidence of a population this high? even being generous that number seems inflated 10x.
  3. Ya, It is a pointless waste. It is currently on the top of my list of pte peev's.
  4. Well said. As a counterpoint, after 1.2 hit i started a new toon on a populated server and am almost to the point of being in full Battlemaster gear after a few weeks of pvp. I started in full recruit gear fighting against people who were well on their way to a War Hero set. At no time did i feel alienated or really behind the curve, so thats where my perspective comes from. I could imagine that playing on low pop servers against the same highly geared AND skilled players over and over, this feeling of being behind the curve could be amplified, and in my opinion, fixing the server pop. and balance issues would do far more to improve the quality of the game for new players than removing expertise rating ever would. From my own experiance, players who feel like they are not doing as well as they expect they shoul tend to overvalue the role that gear plays when fighting other players. I started playing this game 3 months ago, so take my word for it, i have played from behind, and i dont feel it is a substantial issue. when i first started you couldnt even buy a set of exp. gear, and it took longer to get into champ gear than it does to get into BM gear now.
  5. 1. This is an MMO. its not about equal ground on all fronts. Its about getting rewarded for time invested in th field of your choice. The higher your skill, th higher the expected rate of return. Hell MW3 is a strictly PvP game as i see it and eeven it has gear progression. My point is, I signed up for an MMO, and both pve and pvp gear in this game functions as I would expect it to in a game of this calibur. This is what i signd up for. 2. You can raid/pvp with gear that provides the exact level of glossiness/matteness that you require for presonal enjoyment. strip the mods with your required stats, and put them into the shell of your choice. /end********comment
  6. BW has anounced that server transfers are coming in early summer. My guild re-rolled off of dark wind corridor, and i can say i feel your frustration. Now that i have reached 50 on jedi covenent, my enjoyment of the game has skyrocketed. I hope not to get blasted for this, but if all you can do is play on lowbies with friends, consider starting new toons on a populated server. then in a coupl of month's, transfer your mains over. I know its not a great option, but take my suggestion for what it is worth to you. i did it, i hated that it was my only option, but im really loving the game now.
  7. I agree with the OP. you put your time in warzones, and i feel like it wouldnt be game breaking if hardcore PvP players get to start with a set of BM gear. Coming from a similar situation after re-rolling off of a dead server, it would have been nice if i could have jump started th process of getting a toon to the same level that i abandoned my other one. The PvE-rs can stop hating on us anytime. if you feel like you should be able to work on getting lvl 50 pve gear while lvling than do something productive. create a post that says youd like FP comendations that can buy you rakata gear etc. take the hutball and run with it. edit- take the hutball and pass it, you should not b running with it:P
  8. I dont undrestand your post, but i agree, it would be a nice touch
  9. Expertise is a fantastic stat. It does not need to be removed. As soon as you hit 50, you can buy a full set of PVP gear for just over 300k cred's, and while you will still be undregeared, its a good start. The battlemaster tier gier is then easily attainable, and quite close to War Hero gear in stat's. I'll say with certainty its easier to get then a full set of black hole/campaign gear. You dont want to PvP to get gear? To bad! I want BiS PvE gear from WZ comms then. If i just PvP i cant waltz into NMM ops with a random group of people and expect to clear it. In short, if you like to PvP, then do it, the gear will come, and as it does you will hit harder and take less damage. It works like PvE, its hard at first, and then as you complete it and get better gear it gets easier. Consider it a learning experience. The more undreclassed you are in gear, the better you have to be as a player. Thats what frustrates me the most about these kinds of thread's, players act like if they just started out with the same gear, that would fix the game for them, but in reality, you would still be outclassed by those who put in more time. Also, dont post "step 2: remove resolve for dim. returns" as it too is a good system that is working well
  10. So, how about adding another medal to thee WZ system, 'Latecomer' or something to that effect. If you join after the match has started, you get 1. It could hav different levels based on how late you join, eg if you join a match that has been going for 5 minutes you get 3 medals, etc. I feel this would help with the frustration of sitting through loading screens only to have no time left to get a medal, and wind up with no rewards with th warzone. Thanks for reading.
  11. +1. Whose grade 10 computer science project is this anyways?
