This is not a post about good or bad, or stat changes etc. What I have noticed between being on the test server and reading each class forum on swtor is this...... every class is complaining about this stat or this ability being nerfed/changed/cooldown longer/etc. Each class is complaining about their stuff being messed with. In addition, they will justify their opinion by pointing to other classes that they feel are getting a better end of the changes. So when you read of the changes that are coming just remember that everyone thinks they are getting screwed in one way or another, but can it ALL be true?

I think you will like the Imperial Agent story. There are plenty of complex choices to make which keep it very interesting. I chose sniper the first time, and operative the second time. I liked the story I am doing it again on the operative and finding that since I am playing a different subclass in the story I am making different decisions and the story is changing, pretty fun. and just a reminder: Tionese is the lowest set of PVE gear, and should be worn during dailies and PVE time. You should be fine doing all dailies in this, especially with a companion in decent gear. I use a companion that uses the same stats that I do, so when I upgrade my gear, and can hand down my old stuff to the comp to upgrade them. So I get Columi, they get Tionese. PVP recruit gear is the lowest set of PVP gear, and should be worn during PVP time. The PVP has a set bonus which adds expertise which stacks when worn together, so you should wear all PVP gear until you really start getting into higher level gear.

Look on the GTN and/or go to fleet and post in the "trade" channel of chat that you are LTB (Looking to buy) that item. Someone will eventually answer you with ideas of where to get it or possibly craft it for you, and a price.

You might want to wait until after the Hutt expansion comes out, there will be new cartel items coming out then that you may wish you had saved for. Just a thought.

This guide was EXACTLY what I was looking for!! I have a sage healer alt and was looking for rotations. The rotations I do are in PVE, SM and HM's on flashpoints and 8 person teams. This is all very useful information, TY. I do open with force pull, even if it doesn't move the elite because what I have experienced (not based on the math, just what it seems like to me) is that I almost never lose agro if I do this....and sometimes (though rare) do lose agro if I do not open with it.... so I just default to opening with it out of habit now. I also use the mind control/mass mind control for times that I lose agro or I hear things like "Im not sure I can save X player" because they accidentally got swarmed or something... I then taunt to pull all agro from them so the healer can save them quickly and we can re-adjust. (That is just an example of using it in an emergency) I appreciate the time you took to respond to my thread. If you think of anything else, please let me know.

I have read numerous threads and "handbooks" but am looking for the answer to a couple of specific questions, that I cannot find direct answers to. First, I am Shadow Tank, level 50, 31/0/10. I am wearing BM gear at the moment, but these questions are not about gear, since my guild and I are running dailies to change the gear to PVE gear. So my questions are not about gear or PVP things. These questions are solely for running PVE HM's, FP's, etc. Question 1.) What are the best stuns/interrupts for PVE mobs? I am able to generate threat easily enough with force pull or mind control for bosses, elites, etc. However, there are points where a DPS starts taking substantial damage from a mob, while I am tanking a main target, and I want to be able to toss a stun/interrupt/something into the mob group to assist....but I am not sure what that would be. Question 2.) While moving the bosses around, I will sometimes lose agro. If I am too close for force pull and my mind control is on cool down.... what is next best thing to generate threat? I am not sure in what order the things that generate threat go from most to least is what I am trying to say I guess. Thank you for any help and advice you can provide.

It would be great if one Rep guild and one Imp guild could be able to cross chat, especially on RP servers. Our group has guilds on both factions, and players that have toons on both sides. Yet I never know when the Imp players get online and can't talk to them without using an external program. Would be nice to be able, especially for RP events, to be able to link two guilds so that all of the chat is in one place on the TOR screen while we play.

I don't see very much discussion about Assault Specialist. I am new to this class.... is A.S. not very good for DPS? I play both PVP and PVE. I am Assault Spec. now and it seems pretty good, but as I said I am new to the class and everything seems fine at low levels. hahaha. I am only level 15, so I would rather re-roll now if it would be better to do so. Any advice for a new trooper? Thanks

I am level 46 and 350+ in artifice, TH and Arch. On this server, what should I be crafting and putting in GTN to make some credits to build a little nest egg? I can't seem to figure out what are decent selling items, and what to sell them for. Thanks

Does anyone know where to buy the different pieces of the "Shadow Guardian's" armor? They are orange items. Or are they only dropped items, not buy-able? If so, does anyone know what boss drops these specific items? Thank you

I am level 38 female shadow... who do I get a chance to romance? It's not my lizzard, my ship droid, and I can't stand that clown I found on Nar Shaddaa (can't remember his name)... his holo girl is hotter than he is!!

I will not shelf mine. At level 37 I just re-rolled the tree with the "free" re-roll that they gave, and I have tweaked a couple of things.... but to be honest at my level there is not that big of a change in things that I can tell. I heal the same way with my guild, I am just as effective, in PvP I take more damage...but to be honest the amount of damage I was able to take before was a little insane. I won't self a character because of changes, I will adapt how I play the character and keep going.

I have cleared out the ones I don't want to do and this solved my problem. Thank you all for the assistance. I agree that a specific message "your mission log is full" would be much better so that people know exactly what the issue is as opposed to something vague.

aaahhh... well now I feel better... is there anyway to clear out some of the quests that I do not want to do now, to make room for new ones? I mean anyway other than going and doing them of course.

I am level 31 Jedi Counselor on Tattooine. I noticed on this planet that many missions are not available and say "not available until more missions completed" or something similar. So, like a good Jedi I continued running missions without question. I have completed many many missions.... but many of the people that show that they are the starting point for missions are still not available to me. Do I need to complete the "heroics" to unlock these other missions? Is there a sequence that I need to follow? Is there a specific level I need to get to? Do I need to go to Alderaan and come back? Am I doing something wrong? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
