  1. Lowering money pay outs from H2's isn't going to do anything for SWTOR's so called economy. Hyper inflation? Only thing that's causing inflation is BioWare and their damn Cartel Packs. When you are lucky enough to get an ultra rare Defiant Vented Lightsaber........ should I sell for 10 mil, or 60 mil. Gee I wonder what everyone is going to choose. Same thing with everything else, prices for such items are only based on how high they can list it before it becomes obviously absurd.
  2. I bet they get more money from people buying cartel credits than they do from subs (really just a wild guess), so after this whole event fiasco they probably planned ahead and increased hypercrate cost to offset their projected loss of subscribers.
  3. Obviously Revan should of been the companion I think we all agree he needs to return (HAHA..... yeah no, would be a cool companion though) and turn him light or dark with a small companion mission. Dark side all the way!
  4. What are you talking about, it already is great for our community. I can't remember the last time the forums weren't boring to come to, much less actually read every single persons post. haha
  5. This is amusing in some sense. Tons and tons of people are crying HAVOC and letting slip the dogs of forum war. But BioWare will come out with a new Cartel Pack with some super rare spiffy new weapon and people will love them whilst showering them with money. And BioWare will come back and say hey even more profits than last quarter, must be doing something right!
  6. I'd go for a request to get our round house kick back, but it was hardly useful in the first place. Looked cool though.
  7. Force management is directly related to how hard you dps....... so if you keep running out of force, dps less! OK I got nothing. haha
  8. I don't think anyone is completely defending this, just parts of it. As an example there's absolutely nothing wrong with them creating an event that only newly made chars for said event can participate in. STO has done it successfully and if that game can do it this game can easily do it. However the implementation leaves a lot to be desired; like already having max amount of chars on a server or some of the requirements to meet each level.
  9. I guess I should of been more clear in my wording. Shadow of Revan is there in completing it, Ziost is there in completing it, KOTFE is there, Oricon is there in simply killing 50 npcs, hell they even got you digging for HK-51 parts again. But Makeb isn't there at all, not even kill 50 npcs. It's like they ignored it.
  10. Has anyone else noticed that Makeb is NOT part of this event? Kind of odd don't you think, they got everything else. In fact, seeing as all the levels of the event have you doing pretty much all parts of the game it almost seems as if BioWare wants players to experience it all before the game goes "bye-bye"......course that's what I would think if I was a negative person, good thing I'm not!
  11. 5/10 Some of their achievements are just ridiculous. Get max 550 in all crafting skills? Come on, literally what is the point in having that there.
  12. I'll be drinking Haterade..... drinking that right now actually.
  13. Or you could make an Assassin and stealth in a corner occasionally attacking. I'll be making my third Assassin for this, for the main char at least. Makes getting around mobs easier. Republic too.
  14. With this logic you could say that you've killed 1,000 rakghouls on Taris so when the Rakghoul Event goes live and there's an achievement for killing 1,000 rakghouls you should get credit for the work you already did.......... rakghouls are rakghouls right? It's an unfair advantage because if they allowed characters that are already made to participate then people with max level gear can breeze through all the levels. This event puts everyone on the same level and helps to bring some social aspects to the game outside of everyone's tight nit groups.
  15. Actually STO's Delta Recruitment event only lasted from April 2 to May 21 if I remember correctly.
  16. Just be thankful that doing Galactic Starfighter is only required in Legendary.
  17. You all better Dark Side the crap out your conversations, I want Darth Hexid not some silly Jedi! That's really the only bad part of the event, if you want one companion but the tallied points net you the other. Companion conversations to turn that Jedi whats-her-name to the dark side like Jaesa?
  18. I think it would be hard because they may not be able to, at this very moment, calculate how many LS and DS points have been "realistically" made. Even if they did that would include people that maxed DS and then chose to go the opposite and max LS and then go back to DS; or LS to DS and back to LS of course. Their number may even include points from diplomacy missions; both of which would skew their numbers significantly.
  19. /not_signed.......... Is that a thing? hehe I disagree with making it retroactive. What would be the point of making an event with achievements to be earned participating in the event if people can complete over 50% of them just by logging in? That's just stupid. This is an event designed around two things: creating a new character for all those achievements and getting as many DS/LS conversation points as possible. Complain about having max chars on a server and not being able to make any more (why you have that many is beyond me, and I'm sure you don't play them all anyway so deleting a least used one and remaking it is hardly the end of the world), complain about not being able to use your already existing chars to participate in the DS/LS points deal (can you? or is it only the new chars? anyway). But the rest? Come on, it's like everyone just wants instant gratification or something. STO has done the same thing in the past, and one soon to happen again. I don't see their forums raging about not being able to "participate" in the upcoming event which is designed around creating a new character to go through the new content being released because they can't use their max level max gear characters. Sure we don't have any new content to go through with our event but same thing.
  20. I say just make the event last longer. If it lasts 3 months, make it 6 instead or whatever.
  21. You know I just thought, I am kind of surprised there's not any social rank requirement for any of the levels. Now that would of been interesting. On the plus side I get to replay the Inquisitor class story, best class story in da game! It'll also be kind of cool to see the lower planets become more populated (for a while), almost like the game first released.
  22. LOL I totally understand this event, it's all about "healing to full and making them pay". I'll try and do as much of the event as possible, but hot damn that Legendary Level is a bit over kill. Why not add the "No Life Level" and require some hard/nightmare mode operations while you're at it? At least getting to the Eternal Level won't be too difficult. And has anyone else thought that Dark Side will probably "win" by a landslide? So many questions about the new information.... Like why does the Dark Side weapon tuning look so pathetic next to the Light Side? Why can't the DS companion be dual wielding? Who wrote your guide page?.... "gain enough Light side points to reach Dark V" Champion Level (reach Valor rank 5), Legendary Level (complete 5 warzones).... do those complete at the same time?
  23. That does suck. I'll miss him as Chekov he was pretty good. Though it does go to show the importance of using your parking break.
  24. I actually think we might see Nintendo duck out of more E3's in the coming years.
  25. DLC and game updates aren't worth mentioning at E3. The audience doesn't care to hear that Fallout Shelter is getting an update, us gamers don't want to hear how Doom is getting some map editing crap. It's E3, biggest gaming convention in the world, we want to see new awesome game reveals not games that are already out.
