  1. OMG thank you! I could quote this into so very many threads on this forum, and it would still work! The day you need an imaginary sword to make it worth your time to take your imaginary person into an imaginary place to do an imaginary quest... your inner child is dead. Enjoy the content. If you don't enjoy the content, then there's probably a more rewarding way of spending your time. If you don't like swings, and you don't like slides, and you don't like the merry-go-round, and you don't like teeter totters... maybe the playground isn't the best place to hang out. No use getting mad at the parks department for not putting a firing range in your playground. Sorry if the metaphor got too complex for you
  2. I agree with everything except your placement of the word "lucky." I personally hope it's an expansion, not a content patch. A full expansion could make space EPIC! I just can't imagine a content patch providing enough to make the space experience feel epic and immersive.
  3. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's useless because of this, but it is inconvenient. I have a subpar processor (which isn't BWs fault) which makes load screens quite long. By the time I would make it back to my quest hub, my queue will have already popped. I compensate by waiting until I get back before queueing up again. Going back to where I queued would be awesome, and I hope it ends up that way, but I'll enjoy having LFG in whatever form
  4. There's your problem. They're not meant to be "sold." They're like an alternative currency. Hover over the cost of the items the curator sells, and it will say how many of which kind of gift fragment you need. They're like commendations in this way. Hope this helps.
  5. I might take this complaint a tiny bit seriously if the patch hadn't rolled out TODAY! You want to be the first to have all the shiny new lewts? Be prepared to pay out the butt for them. It's basic supply and demand. The demand right now is super high because 0% of the population had the new augment stuff when servers went live. So let the folks who DO grind dailies and have buckets of credits get their crap at outrageous prices, and let them get them first. It's both their reward for grinding and their punishment for not waiting. Then once there are less and less toons needing this stuff, the demand will go down, driving the prices down. And just because the complaint was based on pvp competitiveness, this seems mandatory: L2P
  6. You might be right, but I personally doubt it.
  7. <Insert petty complaint about a superificial complaint along with a threat to unsub here>
  8. This. Same server is fine. I prefer to run with my guild; when that doesn't work, I want to run with people I might run into while out doing dailies or whatever. I don't find it a fun idea to run with someone who only earns a good/bad name for their entire server rather than themselves. In my opinion, the bad of cross-server LFG would outweigh the good. But seeing as how there's no way to know for sure, it remains my speculative opinion. Edit: I didn't address the queue time question because I, like many people, am still at work. My GUESS is that the LFG queue will be like the WZ queue in that the shortest times are in the evening (while I'm still at work) and the longest in the early morning/late night. Try it in the evening. Or don't. You already unsubbed once, it seems like a matter of time to me before it happens again.
  9. Awesome thanks. Gotta love an altaholic-friendly game
  10. In regards to finishing a companion's storyline, I understand that the buffs like surge and endurance as well as the effects on Heroic Moment can only be unlocked once per companion type. But then at the end of the unlock it lists the +10 presence bonus. Does this mean it's not limited by the "companion type" as the rest of the buffs are? In case that was unclear, I'll reword: With 2 characters, if I theoretically completed all companion storylines, besides only earning 1 surge buff, 1 healing received buff, etc, would I end up with +50 or +100 presence?
  11. I never noticed this was a dead forum. Not saying you're wrong, just hadn't noticed. For trying to find specific info, sub-forums would be useful for getting right where you need to look. But I see what you're saying. Questions are a lot less likely to even be answered in the first place if there are a dozen barren forums no one wants to browse
  12. That's the case 99% of the time, certainly, but I was thinking of using all 5 companions on companion gift missions though, where even the lower grade missions are often useful for alts or whatever. With a queue, you could easily perform every available companion gift mission while logged out. I'm not saying that's a good idea; just clarifying my pleasant daydream lol
  13. That would be nice. I'm guessing the same reason I'd most appreciate it is the same reason it won't happen: queueing multiple gathering missions before logging off
