Drama knows, they lost miserably as soon as they faced a decent( I say decent because it was a team with little experience playing the comp/with each other) american team and couldn't handle the ego dent after calling out a whole continent like trebit did with the thread against aussies...except trebit still plays on live on the most competitive server. They don't need another player like you to make them feel better by remembering their glory days of farming bads. I know you guys are alike and all...they know if they want competition 4s group queue on bastion is where it's at.

I'm not defending the comp, but rather the players especially when the situation is different in my opinion We both witnessed how gay trip scoundrel was from the start, and it's nowhere close to how disturbingly boring the game was before. Aside from that, there are bigger issues in arenas right now. Douchebags who use relics because they want an advantage against other bads who use them. Then blame other teams/players for using them against players who don't resort to exploiting a game breaking bug just because they want to see higher rating they could never come close previously. Sadly, regstars need all the ego boost they can scavenge while it last before they go back to dying instantly with their awareness of a tranquilized sloth. Popping defensive cds with 6 seconds of reaction time/godmode takes skill amirite.
  10. Wasn't arguing with him, but rather trying to show him my perspective on it. We both get each other, unlike the majority of arguments that happen on the forums that resort to name calling and using random trash talk as support for their argument. Shouldn't really compare synergy to DP. Here's the difference between the two and why I understand laith's perspective. 1. Synergy were always bad, only carried to wins by literally boring teams out after 25mins+ per game for only 3 per win and god forbid we lost. 2. The consequence for falling asleep against DP is having one of your teammates or yourself globaled. The consequence for falling asleep against Synergy is a good night sleep without a care for missing out the stare down contest. Jaryx knows best. 3. Synergy never won until they discovered the gaydom of triple scroundrels and respeccing during matches especially on voidstar. 4. Don't Panic has always relied on pressure and coordination for kills to win their games, Synergy is the absolute opposite. Their non-existent competitive presence in arenas in proof as well as their history on Bastion. Hell the gm even spam capped a node in offnode of civil war because he knew we couldn't do anything about it with 2 pocket healers and another guard on him. 5. Had synergy not run sifucleave, and DP ran the stacking op comp now for the first time, people wouldn't even mention about them turtling especially when barely any teams make it past 2 min mark. 6. Synergy is respected for their dedication to 8s and never backing down against the best teams. Don't Panic is respected because they give us the most competitive games by a long shot. 7. Don't Panic isn't a guild filled with one trick ponies. They have several alts and run them constantly in arenas just be competitive rather than pooping on everyone with their double sent comp. So when oldspiceswag brings up greed...doesn't make sense when they've been constantly running comps like scrapper/commando just to play arenas. Unlike the majority of the server who rely on their perfect comp to play games to prevent an ego dent. Instead, they queue up with the current players no matter what comp. When they played mvp, I was of course going to be salty because I thought double healer was over. But in all honesty, as much as I hate the comp. I'll admit myself that it was hardest arena game to win not because I felt I couldn't put pressure, but rather we were at the mercy of their coordination. If trinkets weren't broken properly, defensive cds wasted on what you thought might have been a swap to you...they actually took advantage and exploited that weakness. It's hard to actually follow what everyone on the team is doing, but every single person in mvp had to play PERFECT on the defensive or one of us would die. That alone has never been done to us. And the only guild that has ever consistently put us on our toes(which I still strongly believe why we were so sharp against the casual games) is Don't Panic. Unfortunately for casual, they can blame their ****** server for being rusty. Synergy is a joke compared...period.
  11. Yeah I get your point about how you play much more aggressive and try to prevent turtling because you're only fighting against time. And if any team can pull it off it's you guys. My problem isn't facing you guys but rather the comp itself. My biggest concern is that bastion seems to be the center of trendsetters(lately)...and when other teams can't coordinate like you guys they just end up wasting everyone's time...until they get a fluke win during acid. How gay would it be to see teams turning arenas into acid objective based? What are your thoughts if you played a double healer team that's tankier than you and find a way to win during acid? Would you be eager to play more even if they were the only team queueing? Or just hope you get a better map like old synergy days? Sorry, but I left my patience for double healer teams back on wow at least those games had priest that ran out of mana or couldn't vanish if their healer was controlled leaving the tank the only viable option...oh wait double healer never had tank that could perma spirit link a teammate and further reduce dmg with 2 other cds including one aoe >< Yes, class balance and xfers is the answer! Although not so much bioware's version of, "class balance". Remember when everyone thought rage's damage was going to be toned down especially with the 3 stacks instead of 4? Or when mandos and sorcs thought they got a good buff with new abilities then looked at scoundrels rolling with no energy problems and even more survivability? There won't be any balance in this game until scoundrel heals are nerfed. Simple as that, the only reason why aoe dmg outweighs ST dmg is simply because op/scoundrel heals have insanely high single target heals compared to any other healing class...with the least amount of recoil as well. The reason why aoe classes do better against scoundrels is simply because it takes globals for the healer to hot multiple targets as well as having their only aoe heal with somewhat of a cd. So yeah, aoe dmg >ST not because of lack of balance compared to one another, but rather balance compared to pressure on a specific healing class. I doubt it'll get nerfed too, considering scoundrels play a big role in tank healing for pve(I assume) Bioware is smart enough to not bite the hands that feeds(pve community) and will continue to buff other classes as a temporary band aid for this bleeding to death pvp community.
  12. Yes there is no debate on aoe dmg outweighing ST dmg. Just like there's no debate on aoe heals outweighing aoe dmg...except in this case aoe heals still outweighs even when outnumbered in the ratio. I understand the VG tank situation...although I've played more than 90% of my games in full dps partisan gear since beginning of arenas on pts Hell, clubber plays the class better than I do. Remember when sifu had all these excuses for why he ran triple scoundrels? Then ended up just going with it because he enjoyed winning against MVP through boredom? That's what I'm afraid of...especially if you figure out a way to win during acid which is quite doable actually.

Pretty much The equation in this situation isn't aoe dmg>st dmg but rather aoe heal>aoe dmg The results, going to acid most of the time if played correctly on both ends....cmon laith you're gonna tell me there's a way to kill double scoundrels and it's totally possible when we all shared the pain of hypergate splits with tank and double heals on one side? Even Synergy could stay alive for countless rounds. Hell hoodrat became a pro at backpeddling and jumping at the same time while hotting during this time. Do you really think that lowly of mikey and anti? >< Remind me, what's the point of acid?
  15. I know 8s is different, and how synergy played the comp was entirely different. But the facts remains, the game last to the very end and usually the outcome is based on who had more patience and alertness... the majority of the time...maybe a few rounds actually based off good swaps but to do it again twice in a row is even harder because we get the patterns and idea of when the burst is coming. I don't know what killing the scoundrel in round 1 means when you take away the credit by mentioning wrucks not guarding ><. Setting up swaps is what arena should be about yes....but setting up swaps based off your 2 healer's 30 second dmg cd(which is obviously more op than any other healer's dmg ability) isn't nearly as cheezy as running smash/dot class and setting up swaps with control on healer especially after running it to counter your double sent comp that was wrecking everyone. The way you think about mindless smash/dot is the same way I think about double sent that 75% of 4s comps run in this game.
  16. Hey everyone, there's a godmode relic that's ruining pvp/pve. We did know about this but didn't think it was gamebreaking. But since many tards buying a garbage trinket thinking it's working as intended, we WILL fix it...when convenient. No worries, no bans will go out! Thanks for your patience! See! Improvement from "keep it on the dl yo, we'll actually have to work if too many people know about it" to "oh **** that's a lot of ******* buying the trinket, guess we gotta do something about it"

  19. I consider it a turtle comp because you're only bursting every 30 seconds or whatever the sabotage charge cd is. Don't get me wrong, the coordination is nowhere like sifu's 8s and require much more considering you actually have to win before acid. But on my end as the only melee, fighting against 2 scoundrel healers with guard and op evasion talent...it gets old quickly. Wouldn't be surprised if I lose to double scoundrel healers with tank+all of the wearing glitched relics soon.
  20. No incentive, no rating reset, no point of rating. The only reward is bragging rights and playing against turtle comps when everything else fails. I've never seen a preseason last this long in any type of game.
  21. I don't think anyone knows what a "real" DP team is They tend to be the ones that will play anything spec/class just to play arenas. Don't think anyone is as serious as they will be when season 1 actually hits.
