  1. Check Krea`s guide on Dulfy, go by way of high endurance minmaxing. Then it is just about learning of other classes and using dcds properly.
  2. Mainly check Krea`s shadow/assasin 4.0 pvp guide. Dulfy, sticky here. Everything pretty much described there. Thanks alot for this guide. I am returning player after 2.5year or so. Used to play shadow tank as main in past alot. With this guide i got pretty fast overview of 4.x gearing. Working pretty well. After 3 weeks of dailies and few more wzs, if time allow, i minmaxed my high endurance tank set sitting almost ar 90k hp missing few new datacrons. Now im playing a bit of dot spec, finishing gear. Soon to swap to burst spec. Going to have set for each discipline as stats need to be slightly different. Tactics wise u seems to have everything sorted out well. There is not much to add. I would say learn other classes by playing or dueling them giving huge advanteg as well, as you will get overview about their tricks giving u big advantage to know when to use ur dcds, knockback, ccs...
  3. I had similar yesterday against you Katrinka. Was on my shadow tank with slinger, sage healz and senti. First round i focused on guarding healer, switching guard and stuff. Watching ur hp as i tend to cycle between targets in aor gcds of my rotation. Seeing ure not droping at all, second round i really focused u maximaly with just guard on healer. U eat all my love - ccs, biggest hits and stuff prolly without noticing, while i am fully minmaxed. This was even worst, as i let slinger die fast leading to quick defeat. Kinda feel the frustration of OP. Not complaining tho. Your team was working as sshould be and we were really not strong enough to harm you. After that i met these guys in another 4v4 except slinger replaced by serenity shadow. Did 30% more damage then serenity, 50more then senti. Match went till timer, as imps were not so strong as well, so same up time. Ye dps is problem on pub side. Matthew could be more fun, if pub dps is in par with imp on tre. And ye in that wz i got some nice advice to use flashbang from slinger between wzs. His ui prolly bugged, thinking im slinger as well and did not notice my purple crystal light saber ovet red ones hitting him
  4. I am back in game after 2.5 years, and dont have so much time then before, so not so many atm. But back in the days, when TRE fleet pvp area has been full of ppl i loved to - get dancing top, some white skirt, color match them, jump on PVP terminal, throw a party bomb and go /tease. Yeah my shadow is pretty sexy b**ch... - get drunk, run around a fleet spamming whirling blow yelling I`m god damn chopper, get out of my way on guild team speak (just once, but huge fun) - use party bomb generally - duels using legacy punch only - use ball toss these days: - /dance, /tease, /clap sages/sorcs channeling their immortal buble in the heat of battle If my 3 yrs old daughter join me playing for 5 minutes before she goes sleep, she loves to - me running around fleet on some animal mount, she pressing space, she is loling always. - T4 astromech droid pet. she is always shouting "where is he?". Other pets does not work. One is a bird, rest looks like a devil for her - spanking bugaboo (means fighting npc) - go to char log in screen, switch between characters and rotating them (really dont know, what is funny on that - by some reason she loves if i go /dance, forcing me take out all gear to be in underwear.

  6. Dont get why u guys have problem with sorc/sage these days. At least there is some space for /dance in warzones. Legacy punch can do the funny job in 1v1 scenario as well. Going to test ball toss hiding in my shadows inventory as well. Noot sure if it can be used in wz tho.
  7. Hey. I would suggest to visit redeclipse.eu forum. I just returned back as well, so checked just quickly. Few ppl from "old" times seems to be at least somehow active there rather then here.
  8. I am back in game after almost 3 yrs now. Used to be full pvp oriented. Playing now one week, leveling main. Just reached 65 and went sleep yesterday, so no clue about 65 tier. In bellow 65tier had whole week arround 50/50 w/l ratio. Meeting lot of occasional players with no clue about class on both sides. Met as well some good players on both sides. Personally pub was not that bad as i could read on the forum. Yesterday had some very nice fights with my tanky shadow. Healers on both sides, decent dps on both sides, did some nice dps as well as protection numbers. Also noticed bettrer players starting to appear in certaiin times like 8:30 pm gmt +1 . Will see today or tomorrow how it looks in 65... cya on the battlefield

    Well i didnt see even the video. Just checked the scoreboard and thats it. No meaning to watch another slaugtering of recruit. Bring some vid, where your sentinal smash friend will go over 1400-1500dps or u will do 1mil+ healing, or 1300+ hps. Then it gonna be interresting match, cause you cant achiveve those numbers against weak oponents.

I prefer naga over ctr + ... my case: 1: Mutlitaunt 2: Singletaunt 3: CC grenade 4: guard in kc hybrids, breach in dps builds 5: spinning kick 6: macro for passing of the ball 7: hard cc 8: cc braker 9: guess im not using that one much, so dont remember 10: bubble 11: tulmut or how is it spelled, so using in pve only 12: toggle sprint on/off

  13. As mentioned, new ppl are not comming to rated and that is the bigest issue at the moment. On our server arround 4-5 guilds playing on regulard or semi-regular base. If new ppl or even pug want to try rated, they are beaten very badly, in most cases they are glad to leave the spawn and survive few seconds. Of course they dont want to experience this. Even we get x-server, it will solve the situation for several top pvp guilds. Some will mb leave too, because suddenly they will not be "the best", who knows. I think realiable solution might be to start seasson 1 with match making based on rating. However it cant be done as simple leader match making based on rating itself where team can get a match simply withing his current rating tier. Team should not be able to play against much weaker, but should be able to chose how high he wanna go. E.g. team with rating arround 1800 should be able to q for matches in his tier lets say 1500-2000, plus should be able to choose, if he wanna go into q for next tier 2000-2500. This will avoid matches of 2500+ teams againts completely new groups, while it will allow lower rated teams go for next chalenge even earlier if they wish so. I think it will not screw current situation at least on our server. Dont know ratings of all these guilds playing, but even we have the top rated and some a bit lower rated, all of us enjoying to play against each other, so I believe those teams will use the possiblitiy to q for all available tiers to have as many matches as possible. Hope it make sense with my English.
  14. Yeah became a bit worst last days for me. During weekend once force chocked by juggernaut in fire trap in hutball. Once aoe CC by sentinel. Yesterday cc by operative (contra of smuggler dirty kick, dont remember ability name). Also sunday morning was fighting jugg and sin in 1v2 fight. Spinning kick to jugg, dealing some damage to sin, sin popped shroud, I wanted to hard cc jugg, but target switch failed so I cced sin through shroud. It is indeed after 1.4. Never had this problem before. I discussed it with two other valor 100 tank hybrids and they observe same issue in last weeks. PS: Don´t wanna boost my e-peen, that im valor 100. Theres lot of ppl, who achieve it in this stage of game. Mainly its saying I spent enough time on my shadow in wz to recognize, what is stun, what is root and which ability is or more precisely should be resisted by resilience.
  15. Infi can use spinning kick only from stealth. So as opener or after cloak. Kinetic tree "Stasis" allow u to use spinning kick out of stealth.
  16. Btw if we replace current ear and implants, were dropping accuracy alot. Only enhancement with accuracy is in stalker chest, so quite expensive. For those, who need pwr/accuracy enhancement, go check trooper gear. There are one boots with that one.

  18. If you have BIS WH, its better then standard EWH, because of mix of mod/enhancement. For DPS gear usually ppl droping endurance to get maximum damage. Lets say you wanna BIS pwr oriented EWH stalker legs. So u buy EWH legs, where armoring is OK ofc, Enhancement is OK, but mod is high endu, lower damage one. So u need to replace mod by lower endurance higher damage one, which is in stalker bracers, also in some Sage gear. Yeah yeah, grind continue
  19. Yes, yes. Happening sometimes. Think it is since 1.4. Resilience: Removes all hostile removable effects and increases your chance to resist Force and tech attacks by 100% for 3 seconds. Does not break Stealth. Wasn´t it in past 200%? If so, i think enemies with accuracy over 100% can bypass it sometimes.
  20. Sorry but you comparing uncomparable here. AOE/DOT spec vs. single target burst spec. If your measurable criteria of PVP success is damage dealt per match only, than yeah you are right. Theres lot of ppl like you out there. But then dont bother with shadow, roll lolsmasher. Infi is designed to be a lone wolf, a hunter. He have to chose targets wisely. Destroy enemy healers, ranged DPS. Optimaly hes not attending the middle of battle. Hes eliminating all, what is arround. Ofc his stealth attacks to enemy nodes are famous. The burst is what you need there, not aoe. So yeah, Infi will never have superior damage. AOE will rule.But played wisely Infi can be game breaking.
  21. Well done Mr. jackrunip, well done. Great constructive post. Im talking from shadow tank/hybrid pow. Did similar as you. When I had troubles to counter certain class, i rolled it or i asked friends to go some duels, where we could discuss strong and weak points and learn from each other. Life is learning, so is pvp. Whiners will never change to winers, if they dont accept this.
  22. No. 30/60/50 is basically full tank gear. DPS gear with shield and DPS mods will be arround 10-15/30/20 with kinetic ward up. Those numbers are really rough, im not at my gaming PC atm. So shadow should really build both sets for PVP.
  23. Yeah thats the target of each shadow tank Sadly to achieve this in one gear set/one spec is close to impossible. Firstly to spec. For pure tanking i found standard 31/0/10 build is really nice and easy. Basic rotation dont depend on possitioning, you have lot of time during standard rotation to check the situation on the battlefield and react accordingly. Then there are several other hybrid build. I like some of them. Their are really hard to kill too, specially in tank gear, but e.g. kinetic/infi hybrid depending on the possitioning of yourselve against enemy due to shadow strike. Therefore you have time to watch enemy, but not so much time to check, whats happening around you. To be 1v1 star complicate the stuff even more. In tank gear youll be hard to kill, but your damage output is low too. So there actually DPS gear works much better. You sacrifice some survivablity to get more damage. Tank or tank hybrid shadows in DPS gear are always hard enemies in 1v1. So yeah in full tank and cooperating with good healer youll be able to keep your team up. In DPS gear youll be able to keep up the healer for some time and youll be that one, who can solo attack nodes, enemies are affraid of etc. Where to start decide you must
