  1. You are forgetting the violet blade of Mace Windu.
  2. I went to the cantina at the lower promenade and reset the quest (not abandon) and I got the update needed.
  3. Well, from all what I read of Corellia (and its famous rocket tram system) it's pretty spot on. Add the fact it's supposed to look like a war zone it's not meant to be a pleasant place. personally I dislike Nar'shaddaa even more, making me feel a bit claustrophobic. The best planet so far (in my opinion) is Alderaan. It seems that the nicest planet in the galaxy just HAD to be blown up by a Sith lord and a moff with a chip on his shoulder.
  4. I inwardly chucked. (would be even better if those had mounted blasters )
  5. It's hard to read it from text, but I am sure there's a hint of sarcasm in there somewhere. There must be.
  6. Of course guilds are useful. You need some way of forcing the gaming introverts to interact with other people.
  7. The line which comes to mind is: "Keep you arms inside the cart at all times."
  8. I know of even a bigger MMO than Asheron's that allows full free roaming. It's called "outside" and it's awesome. The texture is so detailed and the framerate. The AI sucks tbh but you can interact with just about anything. Just don't get killed in that game because it's permanent. Edit: On a more serious note, it SWTOR doesn't seem too restrictive. I've seen a lot worse. I suppose they can make it better still. Personally the lack of anything but knee-deep water bums me out more.
  9. The only bug I've uncovered so far is that Lieutenant Pierce will at times appear in a holo-call in his underwear... Frigging hilarious, but no influence on gameplay.
  10. I've got 'iced' (haha, iced, get it? nevermind...) in some of these exhaustion zones on both Hoth and Tatooine but the general gameplay does not really portray the harsh environment of these worlds. Now the question to beg is: would you want to? Sure, you might want to make it a bit more 'realistic' but it comes at the expense of gameplay. Also, the quote made was made in the scenario that it was turning night. Seeing the environment doesn't have the concept of night and day that might clarify some things.
  11. Fair enough. I do agree that too much focus on one single type of content (leaving the rest in the cold) is not a good thing. I truthfully didn't know where the complaints come from, since I've only joined the game recently and the forums even more so.
  12. I've not encountered more than ankle-deep water in the game, which is weird to me. I've never tried how deep the lava flows are, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are just as deep. It wouldn't be much of a problem that heavy armor usually has life-support built into is, so sinking isn't a problem for the first hour or such. Also, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi weren't exactly wearing what one might consider 'medium armor'. As for whether lightsabers work under water, this is an interesting question, so I looked it up: Source: Wookiepedia
  13. Stats are stats, people are going to argue them into their favor, hence there is lies, big lies and statistics.
  14. The left paddle is overpowered an needs to be nerfed tbh
  15. I am a bit dumbstruck about the amount of complaining about raiding. If you don't like raiding, don't. It's not like you're not being forced at gun point, or being made fun of when you don't. Most of all, I don't understand why people feel the need to be so vocal about it.
  16. I considered this scenario after I made my initial post. It does however make sense that your companion would not gain or lose affection when he's not physically there to witness the conversation. Perhaps Bioware will one day in the future allow your companions to holo-call into your conversations, but from a story point-of-view this would make little sense (they are henchmen and not really plot relevant).
  17. Other than European Union. I see people talking about the EU but I have no idea what they are talking about. It doesn't help I am not a native english speaker and am allergic to arconyms.
  18. Both dismissing and resummoning and having him enter passive then active mode again worked for me both. Companions have a deep-rooted fear for elevator shafts, sheer drops and door treshholds. Hopefully Bioware will start a companion talk group so they can work out their issues.
  19. 95% of all statistics are made up...
  20. Companions don't give affection whenever they are not around for the dialogue, as far as I know. I use this to my benefit, as I switch companions whenever my choices are more to their liking. As far as I can remember, the only places I've gotten affection from more than one companion is in dialogues where they are all present (usually in my ship).
  21. I hate peanut butter, but you don't hear me complaining to people eating it constantly, even though the smell makes me physically ill. Sympathy, I feel none.
  22. Not sure if this is the right forum; if not, please move it to the proper location. One of the smaller things I like in the game is that you can use your companion as an errand boy and get rid of all the trash items in your inventory and sell it off. This is good, because you don't have to interrupt your adventures with house-hold work. The problem arises when you send out your pet frequently; you end up with mostly green gear, which is still useless to you. As such I want to sell it as well, but can't since it's not considered trash items. To mitigate this issue I was thinking we all might benefit from the ability to flag gear as trash, so your pet can go and sell it off anyway. This would nourish my inner-sloth and appease the gods of laziness.
