  1. Thx for the replies. I'll try that now.
  2. I'm getting annoyed with the fact I'm trying to get all the chapter 2 legacy buffs together on one place. I have multiple characters on 3 different servers. I kind of want to start a fresh character but I can't seem to get the full amount of legacy buffs or all the datacrons. Each one of my characters has the old datacron system (and had all the datacrons pertinent to their class) and some have completed chapter 2 and 3 and some only chapter 2. Would I be able to take some characters off one server and put on another with all the bonuses unique to that character and that would translate to the new server? How does that work with legacy names? I don't even know how to word the question I'm trying to ask properly only this... I want to start a new character on a class I already have on a different server so I can relearn how to play that class. But I would like lower the amount of hours nessessary in gathering every single datacron (some which took me several hours to get on other characters) so I may limit the amount of crap I need to do just to make my new character viable in Operations so I may further my progression. So if I xfer a character from Legacy A (Harbinger) and another from Legacy B (Shadowlands) and another from Legacy C (Jedi Covenant) onto a fresh server (The Bastion) with 1 freshly-made character (level 1)...would that work?
  3. It's been on maintenance since I sat down about 45 mins ago. Idk when it started but do I try again in 10 mins or 1 hour. On long maintenaces it'd be nice to know when to log in afterwards. Usually servers go down while I'm having dinner but when they come back up is variable. That's why i'd like to know the timezone so I can say "oh yeah, 3 hours from 7pm or something like that" then I can watch a series or something while waiting.
  4. Why do you care if someones makign more creds than you? What if It's some dude with no life farming creds himself for 12 hours a day. If you want to stop bots then don't buy their gold. That's all it wil take; a complete boycott in gold buying and they will stop. NO point in having 400,000,000,000 credits and no way to sell it. Eventually BW will find them and they'll lose their account. PS. Don't buy the gold. done!
  5. I got to work out timezones and I'm wondering where the servers are so I can work out when they go down from Australia's point of view.
  6. Well I didn't know what the character was up to, where to go etc etc. Just found her on the fleet. By the time I worked out where I was supposed to go, respecc'd dps since all the companions now heal and then having to drive everywhere for the first time on that toon. yeah it does take a while. Right now I've just finished Quesh and moving on to whereever it takes me. All I want to do is finish chapter 2 so I can get the buff and then start the character I actually want to play all the way through (Jedi Knight). Been at it since Wednesday..It's friday now so 2 days so far. Probably another day or 2 till I've completed the chapter 2.
  7. So I resubbed and I want to play my Sorceress to 65 and do end game content. I realise that a while ago I started to make a few characters to get the chapter 2 story buff bonus for all classes. I'd finished the to 55 a Commando, Marauder and Sorceress. This means I had but one class left. The Sniper I made is level 22 so I decided to boost a 60 gunslinger and everything went fine. I got through Zakuul and decided to restart my Sorceress to fully appreciate the class again. The only problem is the Boosted 60 (now 65 and finished the outlander story scenes) didn't give the Legacy class buff bonus at all. Now the 60 boost basically states that all story scenes including all expansions for a given class will be completed. Why then doesn't it give the Legacy class buff bonuses for itself and other classes? Normally I wouldn't care how long the leveling process takes but it's taking days just for a few levels and many more days to complete chapter 2 story so I can go back and enjoy the class I love. BW you give us a boost which is fine but if you don't already have that class boosting one doesn't help open up the Legacy class bonuses forcing us to go back to level 1 and start the same class. Idk if that makes sense but it was frustrating to find out I needed to remake the class from level 1 (level 22) anyway.
  8. So you came on after the release of KotFE, spent a few weeks doing all the content, killed the last boss in the final Operation and decided the game was finished a month after it launched. Kudos to you. Some of us are just starting the new content so we'd appreciate it if you keep the slandering to a minimum.
  9. The gamemaster probably tried to contact you while you were in the toilet and then sent an email telling you he tried which immediately went to junk and then was deleted as you have settings for that. You may need a new ticket.
  10. And you just hit the nail on the head. Alot of the time people are slow to react. They may not play the game but leave the sub running incase they do. People are lazy and some resub for months only to play a few weeks and get bored. It's the same as gyms where people forget/refuse/tend to leave it running as they don't know what tomorrow will bring. Businesses know this and even if a loyal customer gets unhappy on Friday, runs up a bunch of angry posts and cancels his sub and goes to a different game by Sunday he won't be angry anymore. His friends may not follow him and in a few weeks or months said player will be back for habitual reasons rather than the content. There are many reasons why people leave and come back and just because a few angry players whinging about lack of content or whatever doesn't mean the majority of players feel the same way. Someone said here before (may not be the same thread) that the happy players are playing the game and not sitting on forums complaining.
  11. You all sound like BW is supposed to be doing you all favours. This isn't a game it's a business. A business is there to make money. If you can't or don't want to sub they aren't going to make it easier to play. BW want's subs to make profit. This game along with multiple other games allows the company to make new games and expansions. Which in turn gives them more money. There are no friends in business.
  12. The dialogue was for the earlier stages to the game up to and including parts of max level which at that time was level 50. They're not going to spend countless thousands of hours rewriting and rerecording dialogue from earlier parts of the game simply because a later patch increased your level and gave you new titles.
  13. And yet thriving businesses have been doing that for years. New content is what people want. Once you've finished the content what's left to do? Just sit around in the fleet all day chatting doesn't make the game fun or inspire new players to join. There's social media for that. This isn't WoW so the numbers of players will never be so high but there lies the solution. Small bursts of players joining/rejoining on a regular basis will keep the game afloat for the loyal fanbase. Even if I agreed with you, how long before you get bored and cancel your sub? A month, a year or are you in for the long haul with nothing else to do in your life except play Star Wars? Games need to evolve and so do people. Get used to change as it's a nessessary evil.
  14. Not sure. If I remember correctly there were 3, a PvE, PvP and RP server. I was on the PvE server.
  15. I must question you on a few point's though Sarfux. Surely someone that's been around this game for as long as you appear to have been you realise that only conforming to the small minority (loyal fanbase) won't get you very far in business. They made a new expansion (which cost money) and now seek aquire the return costing and maybe a small amount of profit so that the loyal fanbase have more to do. Casuals will come and go and changing the game to suit the current and future needs of the game is the only way to progress and keep up with other MMO's whose gaming engines and standards are new and advanced. Keeping the game exactly the way it is without change and just a few small updates is a surefire way to point the game towards the oblivion. Remember that when the cost of running the game and servers outweighs the income the servers will be shut down. The game designers and forum moderators don't decide that; the management does. Sometimes future projections would be enough to kickstart a game shutdown regardless of the fanbase. That's just business.
