  1. As a tank I rarely if ever ***** at the ppl I'm with out of kindness. We all had to learn sometime. As for most unfriendly community I'd pass that off to WoW, at least when I played around the lich king era. With all the gear check and dps meter addons that game comes with, people run you through 15 different scans before you even start the instance. Luckily I was never on the receiving end of the whiners
  2. Radiant Impact if currently looking to expand our membership. We are looking for several dps as well as healers to assist getting our second raid group up to full strength. We have full cleared TFB HM and progressing on Kephess on NiM EC We raid on Thursdays, Sundays, and sometimes Tuesdays. Our raid time starts at 9pm Eastern and usually go for max 3 hours. We also do non priority raiding throughout the week to gear alts and any new recruits that need gear. Mondays and Wednesdays are typically PVP nights for anyone interested in a break from raiding. We have several raiding requirements: -MOX is required for all dps and healers -Teamspeak is required for all -Must be comfortable with raid mechanics -Must be willing to stay till the end of our standard times for the majority of raids -Experience in TFB HM and NiM EC is encouraged but we can work with you if you need more practice -You should be at a gear level that would enable you to run all the raids we run, we don't expect you to be max 63 on the day you join. Any interested parties either post here, register on our website impact-gaming.com, or whisper/mail Cruncher in game.
  3. I've never understood the whining from F2P people. If you honestly cannot afford $15 a month then maybe you should forget about gaming and focus on getting a decent job? Also don't give me the, "I don't pay cause its not worth it star wars sucks!", if the game isn't worth $15 to you then don't bother playing at all.
  4. I sure hope it isn't. When I bought it I was under the impression that it was something that would be removed forever and only the earliest players who bought it would have it.
  5. I'm sure this isn't something that would have occurred to BW when instituting the guild bank system but I feel like it would be a nice option to have. The reason for it is obvious, since the exodus of players over the last 6months and the server merges there are lots of guilds that remain inactive due to merges. Couldn't we have an option for the guild leader to refund the money for the tabs and the guild bank itself? At full cost or discounted I wouldn't care. My guild has a bank with 5 tabs and after 1.3 we required a merge to stay competitive, 15 of us merged and now our bank just sits there. We could put the money into the new guild buying tabs, mats, stims, etc.. I don't know I just thought it would be worth mentioning and I never searched if this suggestion had been made before, hopefully it hasn't cause I hate being one of those guys.
  6. I would be shocked to see this released by the end of 2013. To have the idea of guild capital ships come to life properly would take alot of work IMO, keep in mind I'm not a game developer though.
  7. I give it a 7.5 and I should be giving it a 9 based on my play style nowadays. They lose points for me mainly because I like games that offer something to the most dedicated, even if its just a different color armor for those who run 16man HM tfb that's enough for me. I don't run 16man myself, my guild only does 8, but just having the option for a more higher or more prestigious looking armor or titles I feel would give more incentive for people to make the switch to 16. The same goes for crafting, I have yet to play an mmo that has captured what I want in crafting, its a situation that I have no solution to but I would like to see more done with crafting, mainly more options and uses. I guess what I would like to see is simply more rewards for dedication in the form of gear art, titles, mounts, etc... The reason I don't say stats is because I know MMO's would rather cater to 150,000 casuals than 1500 hardcores and the casuals want to be have the best as well so asking a developer for better stated gear won't happen. Keep in mind I'm saying this as a former hardcore gamer that now tries to restrict their time gaming and focus on real life. I'm not a 20hour a day person I may play for 2-4hours 3-4 days a week based on raid schedule. I don't think I can dedicate the time to get what I'm asking for and in a way I guess I'm kind of glad their isn't the temptation. But at the same time I would like the option to be there. You can see how torn I am on this issue. I never experienced the lag issues of 1.4. I am annoyed by the gtn post 1.4, as a power trader it can become annoying at times when trying to learn a new market segment. I don't pvp anymore, got war hero then got bored, world pvp is another issue I'd like resolved but I don't have a solution for it either. All in all I hope the game survives and gets to the point where new servers have to be opened again. I've never played an mmo at launch apart from this so I have no idea what kind of growing pains these things have to go through.
  8. If kephess touches the tank right after he knocks him back its a 1 hit kill. As soon as your tank goes flying through the air he needs to be running away as fast as possible until kephess is taunted off and the circles begin. That's the only part of the fight I could think of where its a for sure 1 hit kill.
  9. I too prefer to skip the cut-scenes but I rarely mention it unless I know the people I'm with have ran it before. I really like hearing people tell me its their first run in this FP, gives me hope for the game. Even though I'm in a large EC HM farm guild I still make the habit of queuing alone for my daily FP. As a tank I want to be sure to give any new player the least headache as possible for the best chance of keeping them in the game. A little kindness goes a long way in respect with refilling our population.
