  1. Comparing pvp and pve? Don't even get us started on that comparison. Then we can start with the kick option.
  2. Yes, that is closer to the truth in my case than the previous asumption that I can not win 9 times a week. The problem/struggle is winning 27 times or more pugging it. And just to adress the previous responder advise to shout in general chat to form a premade Group. Why don't you Think about that for a few and compare the difference between finding a random person on fleet and being paired up through the WZ with a random player from the fleet?
  3. I agree, the leap shouldnt interrupt but the hit should, problem is that the interrupt calculation is worked out Before the animtion forthe leap so it appears as if you are interrupted by the leap. Bad design, I know. (I don't know why this forum puts captial letters on some Words where there shouldn't be one.)
  4. I would like to see the pvp weekly mission changed a bit. I personally Believe, from personal experience that alot of the frustration with WZs stems from the need to fill the Weekly quota of wins. That is where the animosity and low tolerance for failure comes from which quite frankly make alot of players complete asses and downright rude, I myself have a much higher tolerance for incompetence in WZs once I finish my weekly. I Think the gaming atmosphere would benefit greatly should they make the weekly 9 wins or 18 games played instead. That way instead of leaving a complete fail of a Group which would pretty much be a waste of time and effort to remain in, experienced players might stay and instruct the new players how to play instead, without losing too much time and still make advancement in their weekly progression.

    Weekend PvP

Friday's aren't any worse than most Days for pvp purposes, Tuesdays and Saturdays however, they are a pain no matter what side you play for. I Think that alot of the frustration with WZs stems from the need to fill the Weekly quota of wins. That is where the animosity and low tolerance for failure comes from, I myself have a much higher tolerance for incompetence in WZs once I finish my weekly. Personally I Think they should make the weekly 9 wins or 18 games played instead. That way instead of leaving a complete fail of a WZ Group which would pretty much be a waste to stay in, experienced players might stay and tell the new players how to play instead without losing too much time and still make advancement in their weekly progression.
  6. Exactly what is it that they are supposed to do about operative healers specificly? Operatives' heals aren't that great compared to for example a Sage/Sorceror and if it is their shield probe you have problems with it's nothing compared to sage/sorcerors force barrier. If you use your incapacitating abilities you cut them down in 4-5 hits as dps. If however, it is the endless series of rolls that bothers you I fully agree with you. Especially as they can do it while remaining stealthed.
  7. And if you double the number of weeks mentioned above that we have had this bug pestering our Daily dose of PvP , we get closer to the actual period of time it has been evading a fix. I completely agree with the OP.
  8. Actually it is, there are programs that help you with identifying rogue sections. It is as simple as to compare the code when the bug is displayed and when not. From there it is fairly easy for the programmer that works with it to identfy a bug of this kind by eliminating parts that are unrelated. And yes, it is the text about you can not enter wz before level 10 bug. To ctrl+u is a workaround, not a bug fix if that is what you were trying to imply.
  9. I have to admit I am by now a bit impressed of Biowares inability to correct a known, game imposing bug like the UI bug that prevents us from queing for WZs, etc. It's been months now and still you have not desided to eliminate this bug, which is a big inconvenience to alot of your customers. It's a really bald move to ignore such a bug and still trust players to subscribe and continue playing the game under the current cirqumstances. Takes alot of trust in your product when you can ignore bugs like that, whiich is just one of many but a seemingly easy one to fix given how obvious the bug is and it shouldn't be hard to find the parameters for when it is displayed and when not.
  10. And if nothing else, at least implement a system that doesn't backfill players into a WZ they just left.
  11. Instead of basing the bonus guild xp on the number of active accounts in the guild which is really unfair to small guilds the extra xp should be based on what the guild has achieved recently, which would be a much more fair system. It would still give big guilds a major advantage but really active small guilds who frequently do ops and stuff would also be able to benefit from bonus experience awards.
  12. They should just revoke the whole current dye system and implement a good one instead, one that allows for customized colours in a better fashion like they have done in other games.
  13. There is a huge problem with random War Zones because of the blatant ignorance and unwillingness to learn to play them properly by some players. The same probem affects PvE group finder groups, but there is a solution for the ops leader to get rid of the weak elements there, the vote to kick. The vote to kick in PvP is not good enough, since all you have to do to nullify it is to deal out one hit on an enemy, which is not helping anyone is it? We need a vote to kick option for War Zones as well or if you don't have the balls to implement that, at least prevent us from being backfilled into the same War Zone group we just left, since leaving the War Zone is the only available option we have to get away from such players and we certainly don't want to be backfilled into that same group again. I know alot of people will argue against a vote to kick in PvP but then you should remove the vote to kick from normal operations and flashpoints as well, and see what a rebellion that would raise.
  14. Yes, it was great to return yesterday to find all the great improvements they brought us. Improvements such as: Not being able to que for WZs anymore because the game think your lvl 55 toon is not yet level 10. The turn in quest missions you had not yet turned in was reversed so you now have to do them again. Great features, absolutely awesome!
  15. No, dyes are not acceptable as random packs in any way, and certainly not as common colours as white and black have become rare items whereas, if there are any "rare" colours have become common in the game.
  16. It is upon first timers to let others know so that they can have the tactics explained for them before the group wipes repeatedly due to stupid/ignorant moves.
  17. I can interrupt? Why should I interrupt when I can just as well continue killing my opponent, let the rest of the group deal with the others. As for running through reticles etc, that is why we bring a healer in the first place. You heal and we'll do damage. And as a tank, why on earth should I pull aggro to myself, the healer is not healing me so why should I pull that spawns off his back. ^^
  18. I've requested this before as well, this system they went with stinks with a very, very foul stench.
  19. How many of the active players buy CCs to purchase packs? edit: And speaking of card games, more and more of those are leaving that model for newer more tailored packages containing exactly what the buyer expects. People are more restrictie with their money nowadays, so it ireally is as you say, an "old" buisniss model.
  20. The CM is not about rare objects really, if they wanted objects to truly be rare they would place them as solely operations reward drops. The whole rare objects in CM packs is just a way to lure people with too much money on their hands to invest a heap into random packages so that they will get more chanses to get that item they want. It's the wrong way if you ask me and I won't stand for it.
  21. I think if an item is desirable it will be bought anyway, it's just that all the undesirable stuff they force upon us would not be purchased. It is therefore more appropriate to make these rarely purchased items rare objects, rather than the on high demand ones as is currently the norm. Good stuff will be purchased, bad stuff not. The money will still roll in so the greed aspect is really not an issue as people want to buy the good stuff. I for one will not invest in a single CC outside the subscriber award I get(at least for a little while more) to invest in some lame random package that may, but most likely will not contain the item I want.
  22. You basicly provide the answer right there yourself. Most people are lazy or don't have time waste on forums rather than playing the game. If all players not able to play the game would instead come to the forums and vent their opinions the amount of critisism would not see an end and Bioware are very well aware of that. Sure, they would probably see alot of pats on their back for doing a great job as well so that would perhaps even itself out(I personally doubt so seeing all the complaints both on the forums and ingame as it is). No, a far more plausible reason is that they would not have time to monitor the forums for violations etc or maybe even that the forum servers would not handle the increase in traffic.
  23. I find most items on the CM overpriced. Everything should be cheaper. That apart, the most significant change to the CM I wish to see implemented is the removal of random packs in place for buying each and every item individually.
  24. I agree with the others as well that there are far more superior systems in place in several other games they could have used instead. But if we pretend it's about rights restrictions that made them come up with this system instead, they still should have implemented the whole aquisition of dyes much smoother and not with greed as the main reason for it. They should have allowed ingame customization of hair colours, hairstyles, nails, tatoos without CCs involved for subscribers and as an ulock for F2P. Even with the current system of buying with CCs they could have done it ten thousand times smooter byallowing us to buy what we want instead of sinking all our CCs into random packs. That goes for all the silly packs they have on the CM. I for one will never buy CCs apart from the ones I am "given" as a subscriber each month in order to buy a package that may, but most likely isn't containing the item I want.
  25. That is just it, that is what we are all upset with. Those random packs we have to buy which are nothing but a big cash sink cow that preys on people less sensible than to not fall into this trap. The sensible thing on Bioware's part would be to let us buy the dyes we want and not be forced to buy a random pack, the same actually goes for every piece of equipment they put in packs. This is why this latest patch is one of the biggest fails in SWTOR history.
