  1. I just tried and here are my results: Worked: NYCANTINA19 SWCANTINA17 SWCELEBRATION17 Said already used: NYCANTINA16 And the rest had no message pop up, so I assume they are expired. Thanks for the list.
  2. Shockingly... none. The one I was really worried about was the name Raidou. I had it for years, and when the legacy system was introduced I took the legacy name Kuzunoha to fit it. Reason I was worried is because literally the day before they announced the server merges I decided I wanted to remake that character, so I deleted and re-created him. He is now sitting at level 2 because I kept getting side tracked. But I got lucky I guess.
  3. You registered this game on: 02.09.2012 Don't know how to check account creation date, but this is close enough I think.
  4. -Beryl Thorne -Nariel Pridence -Vaylin -Shae Vizla (the empty meat shield they gave us doesn't count.) -Kixi -Carnus (compared to the Houk we do get, this guy is extremely likable.)
  5. What I would prefer is if they go back to doing things the way they did pre-expansions. I'm not talking about the unique class stories, that's a different debate. I'm talking about the story centering on your character. You should be able to bring whoever you want with you, and they act like a companion should: a background character with an interjection here or there. As it is now, they act as your mouthpiece more than anything. Where companions should shine, especially the LIs, is outside of the story with their own personal mini-quests and cutscenes, the way we used to get them in vanilla. That would let us chat up whoever we wanted as long as they're still alive, and keep us from feeling like we're getting smothered by the writers deciding who we like and want to keep around for us. Anyway, that's my opinion.
  6. That's amazing. It took me a second, but once I noticed Vette too...
  7. I honestly forget which is which. Screw it, both work!
  8. Who was that NPC that was a meme right now? The one that people jokingly say should be a companion? I think he was the rebel leader in kotet... Anyway, let's make it so that guy is in every cutscene in place of companions you killed. The more companions you killed, the more of a hero he is.
  9. Truth right here. I was a part of the camp that wanted a Vaylin romance. I thought it would be humorous, to say the least, and an interesting way to find out what makes the looney toon tick. Irl? I wouldn't go anywhere near that kind of crazy.
  10. Don't forget to follow it up with "but it's a pointless reward anyway and it doesn't matter. I never even use it because it's so pointless" for full effect.
  11. There's also everything that happened pre-kotfe. It's suggested through the cinematics that he and Thexan fought in wars. No telling how many deaths he was responsible for before he even became emperor. I don't know if it accounts for the trillions, but it is more than just the bombed planets that happen in the story.
  12. If anything, "every now and then" is a gross understatement. On Harbinger at least, every time I go to a planet from about Nar Shadaa or lower level, there is at least one person (often times more than one) that is spamming chat, no matter what time of day it is. This seems to be the latest scam, most likely because the scammers rarely if ever get punished for it. I don't know that they don't but considering I always see the same people spamming the chat I'm fairly certain nothing ever happens to them. It sucks what happened, but as was said above you need to remove the name from your post. Naming and shaming will get you punished on the forums, and this topic will be deleted.
  13. How do you think the poor consulars feel? They only have one companion back so far, and iirc the companions they said that they are working on in that live stream only included one more of theirs to return. I know the consular had a more boring stable of companions than most, but the agent is going to have all of their companions back while the consular only has one or two. That's what I call unfair.
  14. This is the part that I disagree with. As I recall, you give the holocron to Lana to keep it a secret from Valkorian because he can't know that you have a secret weapon to use against him. That was why your character doesn't just hold on to it themselves. And studying the holocron out in the open right next to the person that's possessed by Valkorian makes no sense if you're trying to keep it a secret from him. ...then again iirc he winds up finding out about the holocron anyway and it doesn't really matter that he found out, so maybe I should stop thinking about things making sense.
  15. Well, taken from the roadmap: Unlock new achievements when you complete multiplayer activities using Group Finder and earn the merciless Darth Hexid Companion! If it's achievement based, then it'll be legacy wide, right? Since you can only get achievements once.
  16. I recommend just burning through the three PvP group finder quests and being done with it if you really want her. If you don't want to have to deal with randoms or their personalities, you're much less likely to have to engage with them in PvP.
  17. Oh that made me so mad when that happened. At any rate, I probably would have killed him myself, except I like Senya. She acted like you would expect a mother who feels that she failed her whole family would. Arcann is just the extra baggage that came with helping her.
  18. Hey, I can always go play some JRPGs where the protagonist always is and always will be a teenage boy that somehow is stronger than every adult in the world and is liked by all the girls that surround him despite his obvious character flaws but is somehow oblivious to all the attention. ...on second thought, maybe I should give Uncharted a second chance...
  19. This was talked about by one of my favorite video game critics when he was asked why a d-bag character like Nathan Drake is annoying and a bad main character, while others like the Prince from Prince of Persia were good characters. To paraphrase how he put it, it's because characters like the Prince or Han Solo have character growth. They grow and change from their respective journeys and become better people for it, while still retaining their humorous and likeable qualities. Nathan Drake on the other hand, starts as a d-bag, and over the course of three or so games is the same d-bag he always was. He doesn't grow or change as a character. In the end he continues to neglect the people he supposedly cares about so he can keep going on his treasure hunts. Disclaimer: I know nothing about Uncharted 4, so maybe things change there. Didn't care enough to find out.
  20. Good on ya for finally getting the companion you actually wanted. I've always been unhappy with how this entire DvL cluster**** played out, but at least they're doing one thing right.
  21. Indeed. With Shadow of War putting in lootboxes and players defending it because "it can't be pay2win if it's PvE" things are only going to get worse from here.
  22. People don't know the difference between newb and noob? I thought that was common knowledge. Then again, I'm finding more and more people that say "kek" without even knowing what the reference is.
  23. Oh. I just looked up who Amy Hennig is. She was in charge of the Uncharted games? I hated those games, mostly because of the really unlikeable characters, mostly the main character. I'm not that upset by this news.
  24. What I take from that is that they're gonna make the game what is popular to make right now: an open-world sandbox game.
  25. The ending of Dragon Age Origins is always the same? Really? I didn't like DAO but that's just not right. And massive spoilers for the end of DAO for anyone that cares. Let's look at just one character here, the main character since that's the most important one from a player perspective. At the end of DAO there are several outcomes for your character. You could sacrifice yourself to end the blight, you could force someone else to sacrifice themselves to end the blight, you could ensure no one has to sacrifice themselves by following Morrigan's suggestion, which could mean that you have a child coming, or someone else does if that's what you chose. And if you survive, you could be the new leader of the Grey Wardens in Ferelden. Or, if you played your cards right, you could even be the new king. And I think this is where the main issue with "choices matter" is. There were all these different outcomes for just your main character, but there are still people that say that it all ends the same anyway. So the question becomes "at what point did my choices actually matter?" And the problem is that that point is different for each person. The examples given by the OP, for instance. Each of those are a situation in which your choices did matter. It was just a small bit that it affected though, and that's what bothers most people. But at some point it doesn't become feasible to be able to have a wide range of choices that have lasting consequences, as is evidenced by the story absence of any character that could have been killed off. And even if they did have the choices matter to that level, there would still be people that aren't satisfied with how many choices they got or how much they impacted. At this point it'd probably be best to back away from the "choices matter" tagline, and just try to give us an enjoyable story that we can enjoy that doesn't force unwanted things (or people, Lana) on all of us.
