  1. My guild took a hard hit on the ranked player pool. We are in the middle of a restructuring so to say so i doubt we could field any solid team at the moment. But if any ranked teams need a sniper to fill in a spot, i'll be you're huckleberry.

Same for VM. Our head PvP officer was perma-banned, which kind of threw us for a loop (it was a clerical error; she was reinstated but decided not to come back, anyhow). If anyone wants a bubble-stun DPS sorc (until they nerf it), I'm game.

  2. Well I did say I had a full downloadstun...

Nooooooo :( Overload was useless before I went hybrid, knockback 3 melee but can only slow one, other two just run back and resume pounding and the third leaps :(

The root on overload is awesome and IMO required BASELINE for a class that is supposed to survive by kiting.

Now I have to find some other way to CC the hordes that wish to kill me--is the affliction slow in corruption tree still only 10/20%?

I guess I can pop the interrupt immunity that all sorcs will get and throw down revivification, but that's only available every couple minutes instead of every 20 seconds...and I'd waste 8 seconds of the interrupt cooldown with the channel bubble :/

I never had instant-whirlwind, as I've always healed and never had an extra 18 points for madness, I pretty much used electric bindings in its place.

Well, as a healer, you'll love the next change I saw, too. Now instead of Lightning Barrier improving your Static barrier by 10%/20%, it only bumps it 5%/10%. I'd like to think some of this will change before it goes live, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

  3. Losing instant force lift on Shadows is a bummer. Oh well Phase Walk FTW.

    Hobi

Same for sorcs/sages. Although, we don't get the cool phase walk... :(

My op healer's happy though; don't have to spec into slip away for the speed bonus. Now we get to use it with shiv. So, that's pretty cool. And, the new talents in the op healing tree don't suck.

Oh, and bigger bonus: Alacrity should actually be useful now! Yay!

  4. Thanks. I hadn't seen this yet. Looks like I'm going to have to go all madness, or all lightning, as they've pushed Electric Bindings WAAAAAY up the lightning tree...Unless they've given sorcs a root elsewhere. I reallly appreciate the useless talents I have to pick up to move up the trees now, too. Also, is polarity shift something we won't have to spec into anymore? I thought that was a lightning tree ability...

On second thought, it might be time to run to the sorc section of the forum. :rak_02:

  5. the way i read the posting you will have to wait until the next maintenance patch to get back to raiding. maybe that will be sooner rather than later. but if it is tuesday then no raiding this weekend for you. :(

That's how I read it, too. That gives plenty of time for my guildies to get through the Gree event, then get back to bidness!

Now that I think about it, if I put my tinfoil hat on, maybe they did this on purpose so people would be pushed toward the event instead of raiding? :rak_09:

  6. Nope, an example of snarkiness would be as such. An ellipsis is a series of dots that usually indicate an intentional omission of a word, sentence or whole section from the original text being quoted, and though necessary for syntactical construction, is not necessary for comprehension. It is properly used and identified by three periods. Like so "..."

Any more schooling and I'm going to start charging you. ;)

I also like to use an elipsis for uncomfortable pauses...

  7. Vengeful Malice is another option. We're somewhat casual, but definitely field groups for raids often. We're all 18+ and would love to have more members. Here's the blurb from the guild registry thread:

Vengeful Malice is an organized and mature Sith guild. We raid at least 3 nights a week, with PvP nights, as well as other activities (*ahem* naked legacy boxing). We expect everyone to be 18 years or older and have ventrilo as well as a working mic. Vengeful Malice is unlike other raiding guilds, in that the priority is on the player; not the raid or loot. We all have families, jobs, and other things that take precedence in our lives. However, this doesn't mean we don't have the dedication and perseverance to accomplish goals set in game. Members are expected to act maturely and carry themselves properly at all times. We pride ourselves on being organized and able to adapt to changes in the game, and in real life.

In essence, Vengeful Malice is about players working together to get the most out of the game.

  8. So remember this screenshot? http://i50.tinypic.com/b7yj2s.jpg

The number of kills he had was 207, the number of deaths the enemy team had was 199.

Not to mention, when I looked through the Red Eclipse forums, they said two of the people in this game were other classes than what the scoreboard says they are(Fegg was actually a Marauder and Fens was a mercenary.) So that only leads me to believe this screenshot was photoshopped...However, I can't tell that at all just by looking at it(Looks just like the in-game scoreboard to me, down to every detail.)

I worry for the future of my Ultimate thread if people decide to do this frequently. A couple days before that someone tried submitting a screenshot that said it had 1884 hps, and then someone else sent me the real screenshot, where he had around 1100 hps(Apparently some people have no problem trying to submit records that they didn't actually earn.)

That's a bummer...I'll never understand people who feel the need to cheat to win. How do you have a sense of pride in your accomplishment, if you didn't actually ACCOMPLISH it???

  9. I'm actually increasing my damage by dotting less.

I'm doing less damage because I'm madness, so I had to drop a lot of the DoT damage increases to get the bubble. Not to mention throwing all the super-annoying bubbles instead of DPS'ing. :rak_03: I actually usually (if I'm in the real battles) easily hit the 300k damage/100k healing. I probably have lost 1-200 DPS, although I've not really checked on a training dummy; just seems that way when I'm playing.

  10. A sage/sorc with bubble stun can stay exactly on the objective. When a stealther tries to tap, just rightclick the bubble buff and the stealther gets cc'd (while you are still cc'd too!)

QFT. I do this all the time. Gives plenty of time to call for help, too.

  11. You do know that half of PD could not even log in last night until real late including me and plus we are working things out to have a core group. We lost two main players due to their internet issues. Bad connection last night. PD will do ranked soon we just do not stress it like others. We just like to have fun.

Saw you earlier in the day on Barbie. We were in a voidstar full of healers...I don't know how we got the cap, but we did...Good to see you on the dark side.

  12. I own the G600, and like how is feels in my hand better than the Naga. Sometimes I have issues with it being a bit buggy (was in a WZ and lost all my keybinds once; blech!), but for the most part, it does what I need it to do well.
