  1. such quality service maybe scripts taking longer than expected is why content trickles out so slowly?
  2. that moment when the other team has 3 healers and a tank and still has people dying... that and the fact that you had another healer in the group that did less than a third of your healing pretty much sums up the state of the game at this point

  8. what whiskey said is pretty much true, if you play any bursty spec and open on a sorc, 9 times out of 10 they will sit there and take it in the butt until they hit sub-20% and barrier, then die immediately after barrier wears off; you don't even have to be concealment, I've done it plenty of times on marksman sniper simply because they don't bother trying to LoS or cc until they realize they're screwed (auto crit ambush comes in handy for those ones who always wait until sub-20% to barrier lol, get them to 30% and it's practically a guaranteed kill) but hey, look on the bright side: if you play a class that only a handful of people on the server know how to play effectively (ie op, sniper, IO merc, etc) you just **** all over everyone because no one knows how to deal with you since all they ever fight is FoTMers which, sidenote: every class has at least one viable dps spec right now because of how many people fall into that scenario, ie not knowing how to counter anything; if people are complaining about how their class is so bad, odds are they're not LoSing or cc'ing or using any defensives, or they just go yolo mode and jump into 1v5s all the time.... for example, carnage mara is still pretty strong and yet there are the 200k damage 10 death maras all over the place because they get themselves into situations that they couldn't win no matter what class they were playing, or simply don't pop any cooldowns until they get to 5%, at which point it's almost always too late

I think the main thing here is that most of the classes that are considered flavor are also tank classes which would lower their damage to population ratio a fair bit; sins, pts, and juggs are all classes that you would expect to be good in that respect and all are subpar with the exception of pts, whose tank spec in general does the most damage of the three (insert pt most FoTM claim here) if you take those three out of the equation, all you have is merc, mara, op, sniper, and sorc to make up for the lower ratios, and it's not at all hard to believe that sorc would have the best damage to population ratio; in fact I would be shocked if they didn't seeing how poorly played the rest are by the vast majority of players (any of those classes can do 2k single target damage without using aoe at all and you rarely ever see any do 1k dps on this server)

I'm curious as to where exactly you got this, seeing as bioware is the only one with every combat log (EDIT nvm, I guess this is just your matches) as to the FoTM thing, before storm was nerfed it was easier to spam force storm than it was to play pt simply because you could stand at 25m and be ignored a fair bit compared to pt which is up in your face most of the time; hence more people played sorc after sorc/sin nerf pt is definitely more flavor than it was before, even with shoulder cannon nerf; that being said pretty much every class can put out big numbers fairly easily right now besides maras and mercs (who granted can put out big numbers but it's generally harder to do so), people just don't know how to play anything that requires more than 6 buttons or decent positioning

  13. I'd like to suggest that any pre-60 ops not be updated for the sake of maintaining some sense of accomplishment and respect for the guilds who cleared the content when it was relevant and difficult
