  1. I've always had a preference for female characters in mmos's. I've been playing operative type classes in wow since vanialla and I've always like the smaller hitbox and overall just the out of the norm look for female stealth type classes. Also, its fun to mess with the pathetic people playing mmo's who try to flirt with my female character even though i'm a guy. My operative is in her mid 40's and i'm really enjoying the story and the female text options, idk ever since the good old arena glory days i've always experienced really skilled female operative type class playing people thus having a good effect on me. I feel like stealth class males are always awkward and clunky feeling compared to the smooth flowing feel of female characters.
  2. Great post my brother, very very informative. I have been playing lvl 50 merc pvp unfortunately and have mostly battle master main set and recruit misc gear slots and 1 WH implant. As a result of realizing how freaking long it will take for me to accumulate the gear to have somewhat of an impact in a WZ other than me distracting the enemy from focusing healers etc. I thoroughly am in love with the merc playstyle (maybe pyro a little bit more than arsenal or bodyguard), yet i get group gang banged by extremely subpar players playing fotm classes so I decided to start leveling my first char i made(marauder). And wow, even though i have been planning on going rage spec at end game and carnage for leveling, your post was very informative. I've played 3 classes competetively for about 8 arena seasons in wow, and i thought warriors were god mode in that game. The insight you've provided has gotten me a lot more excited about leveling a mara and putting my lvl 40 operative on hold. What i'm perceiving from your post is that the anniahlation spec is very similiar to my main wow char (rogue), with all of the control and bleeds ownage. even at lvl 19 in WZ's, i really absolutely wreck face, but I'm noticing I'm getting just coonstantly focus fired by their whole team. Also before reading this I really wasn't using assault as a fundemental staple of the rotation since in wow you have auto attack. Cheers, Great Post
  3. What is it about blizz that makes him such a good companion and effective other than that he's a jawa?
  4. Hey yall, my op just dinged 32 and I'm having trouble deciding what i wanna keep leveling up as that will keep things interesting and a little less boring. I've dabbled with lethality and concealment but i've mostly leveled as heals. I feel like a hybrid spec would be much more my playstyle and seems like it'd be more fun. What are some good specs, combinations of talents/ talent trees?
  5. just a thought, what do you guys think about a (wow mage) blink type ability, i.e. allows us to rocket propel 20 yards forward and is usable while stunned? 30 sec or more cd
  6. Hey yall, I'm 3 bars from level 50, and am just wondering what the best secondary stats are for lvl 50 pyro pvp. Im guessing it's along the lines of power as opposed to crit and surge. Also is their a hit(accuracy) cap in swtor pvp? Do i need to stack accuracy till i hit 5%? Thanks
  7. My merc is currently level 41 and for the last 9 levels im really tempted to level as pyrotech, especially since i've noticed my effectiveness as merc lower since 1.2. My question is what is a good rotation for pyro that most effectively utilizes PPA? Also I'm not 100% sure what my build should look like for leveling. Any advice is appreciated, thanks
  8. Does anyone think this problem will get better as PVP gear progresses, i.e. more endurance thus increasing HP pools? I don't have all that much end game pvp experience for this game but this situation sort of reminds me of the level 60 rogue dominance era, see World of roguecraft. In my opinion a lot of wow pvp balance was fixed by the addition of more survivability. Even if your healer/ you had to eat a 15 second cc chain, hp pools/ res or skill would allow you to live through
  9. QQ more, think about what you're saying. When your engaged mid fight with something else, they can pop out of stealth and do massive damamge to you, while you can only get them down to 25% and then they restealth. What you're failing to realize is that any sustained damage which is without a doubt more useful/ better in pvp is pathetic. I'll use the analogy/ my experiences as a rogue and against rogues in wow, with the exception of certain patches, any somewhat decent pvp'er views them as basically gnats you can shoo away
  10. What do you guys think about having an arena type aspect of pvp? I have about 5 years of WOW under my belt and arena was basically the only thing keeping my interest. in my opinion, arena would be an awesome addition to the current pvp oppurtunities (no need to organize/ coordinate large groups, less gang bangs and more calculated strategic plays). I see plenty of the same elemnts in swtor that made wow arena possible and a lot of fun i.e. the capacity of healers, plenty of cc, and seemingly a high skill cap. Any thoughts?
