  1. Smash is a spec like any other that has advantages and has disadvantages. Stop whining about it, the only reason you complain about other specs is cause you're not geared enough or more likely not skilled enough to beat it. The real issue is how flawed the resolve/bubble stun is. Resolve is not responsive enough to very dangerous stuns. Furthermore, the bubble stun is pure nonsense, it has completely ruined pvp and makes it impossible to enjoy pvp anymore. Say what you want about smash spec, its annoying or it's OP, but i know smashers think shadows/scoundrels are OP, so that argument is nonsense. There is no spec out there that can counteract the ridiculous bubble stun. You can try to avoid it, you can try to not damage anyone ever, but then why play? Bubble stun is dismantling pvp and in turn the pvp community.

    Bubble pop pop

Neutralized by smart dps?!? lol what dps class has a stun break every 17 seconds?!? I want that class, I want that ability. Do sorcs/sages have any concept of how this game is played by any other class? I have a 50 sage, full heals and i refuse to spec into that stupid bubble cause I don't use exploits to play games, i play games to have fun.

    Bubble pop pop

Its amazing to me that sorcs/sages think this isn't OP. lol, there is no way to counteract it and it has literally ruined PvP and no one seems to care. I spend a majority of my pvp matches stunned now and there's no way to avoid it other than to just not do any damage. I burst the bubble with basically any damage i do, even my simple dot's will burst the bubble because of my gear and i spend so much time stunned now. It's like Bioware has never even seen this game before...

    PvP is ruined

Its not a balance issue, its a stupid ability that's being exploited at an extreme level. It's a quick bug fix if they were paying attention to the problems with resolve, but they're not. I don't complain about balance cause I don't care about balance. I want the game to be playable that's all.

    PvP is ruined

You seriously just released a patch without addressing this nonsense stun bubble?!? I get the feeling absolutely no one at BW/EA has ever even seen this game. The Sorc/Sage stun bubble is pure nonsense and u idiots should know this by now... lol It's incredible how bad you guys are at your jobs.
  6. I've been pvping since this game released and I'm confident that I've come up with some changes that should be made to make PvP a little more fair on melee classes. Its obvious that BW/EA have a love affair with ranged dps for some reason, they get to do more burst damage, more constant damage and more damage over time all from long range with more stuns and knockbacks/roots. Sounds OP doesn't it? So here we go: Sentinels need more than 1 cc break, give us some way of dealing with all the stuns and roots we're walking face first into. And don't tell me to spec into camo cause only one skill tree can do that, I mean every sentinel/guardian should have a chance to break cc more than once per life. Give Resolute a buff after u cast it. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to punch through a wall because my 200 hour long CD on resolute finally comes back up and I pop it just to be cc'd again within micro-seconds. Hyperbole aside, give us 5 seconds of immunity to cc's after popping resolute and I bet u'll have a lot less people quitting the knight classes. MAKE MASTER STRIKE ACTUALLY UNINTERRUPTABLE! It's unbelievable that you guys think you made it uninterruptable but really you just made it so that the interrupt ability that a handful of classes has won't work on it. You can still get knocked back, stunned, rooted or the enemy can go invisible and it gets interrupted. Seems stupid right? Snipers can cast deep cover (i think that's what it's called) and I can't jump to them, interrupt them, stun them, knock them back, really all i can do to them is feed them a kill. But the one and only ability you give us that's "uninterruptable" is only useful if ur enemy feels like standing still and taking 6k damage for some reason. Fix Stasis. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to put someone in stasis that was trying to activate an ability and they get to finish their ability before my stasis kicks in. In a lot of cases it's a CC or knockback so when I pop stasis, WHICH IS 1 OF ONLY 2 CC's MY CLASS HAS, I can still be knocked back or stunned. So not only does it render my stasis useless but it also puts it back on CD without giving me any benefit of being cast. P.S. I know this may come off as whining or just some nerd rage, but it's not. I thought this post out before I dropped it. I don't want you nerfing powertechs or shadows, I can kill any class 1 v 1 so I don't want you guys changing this game for me. I just want the Sentinels/Guardians to have a fair shot in PvP so people will stop quitting the melee classes. Pvp is becoming more and more populated with the ranged classes that can stun everyone and heal themselves and I don't want this game to become a First Person Shooter.
  7. Bioware would be wise to avoid doing anything like this for a long time. This game is still so massively buggy and the exploits they claim to be eradicating have not been. I'd be very surprised to see a majority of their gamers paying for added content when the content they have right now still has so many problems not being fixed. Seems like a bad idea, but we all know EA only has bad ideas and they all revolve around money, so it's just a matter of time.
  8. LOL you must work for Bioware. This post is pure propaganda. Try playing on a dead server! You're stuck up and spoiled on the other servers. You get to enjoy your main toon, play with your guild, PvP when you want and get PUGs on your Fleet. It's saturday night on the East Coast and there are 4 people on the Fleet in Infinity Gate. You need to shut your mouth and realize that some people have a legitimate reason to complain to Bioware, punk.
  9. So i already posted this somewhere else, but I'm pretty sure it got ignored. I am loyal to my toon and to my dead server (Infinity Gate - East Coast PvP) and I truly feel like Bioware doesn't care about that. 1.2 went a long way to proving that. It is clear to everyone that retaining loyal subscribers is not nearly as important as trying to trick new people into subscribing. I say "trick" because it would be just that, false promises offered by the dev team and by the "Star Wars" logo. Even if server transfers were to be available tomorrow (which they won't be available for another month, stop kidding yourselves) people like me who have committed a lot of time to their main toon on a dead server will still be at a Massive DISADVANTAGE when they transfer. I haven't had a pvp queue pop in 5 straight days! NOT 1 POP! Which means no comms (no gear) and no valor (no ranks/codex unlocks/titles). I recommend you offer people in my situation free subscription time as well as give us bonus commendations/valor that are appropriate for the amount of dead time we've spent queued on the servers you've failed to maintain. I eagerly await the day when I can start posting on this forum about anything other then this server nonsense... but until that day I remain - Macc Lvl 50 Jedi Sentinel proud to be a War Hero on Infinity Gate
  10. I know that I'm not alone in saying this, and I'm sure this post will be taken down, just like a majority of posts on this forum are... I will not be continuing my subscription after this month because I am on one of the servers that Bioware doesn't care about, and I'm playing a Melee DPS a class that Bioware doesn't care about and on the Republic side which is a faction that Bioware doesn't care about. Why would I keep paying to play then? I've submitted 40+ tickets since this game has released, to this date 1 of those bugs has been fixed (not really fixed, just avoided, but I'll count it). I do not feel comfortable paying for my subscription anymore because I know that when I don't do my job well I don't get paid, I feel that the Devs at Bioware aren't doing their jobs well so I don't want to continue to pay you people. P.S. I'd request my money back, but I know you'd just ignore me and send me an E-Mail pretending to be a "Customer Service Droid" (isn't that adorable)
