  1. I got the finger and was shown the door. They also offered me the opportunity to kiss their behind but I politely declined.
  2. Same here. Unable to retrieve patch data. Please check network connection. (208) From now on I'm switching to another game for a while whenever Bioware does a major patch. They're too busy working on their other game anyway.
  3. You can actually skip the Forged Alliances series and continue the story by going directly to Rishii and speaking to the bird NPC.
  4. I had this same problem. I was able to solo Assault on Tython but I couldn't solo Korriban Incursions. It seems like it glitches if you already have the [Tactical] flashpoint mission for the mission that you are trying to solo. So I abandoned the whole quest chain. BIG MISTAKE! You an only solo these flashpoints once and ONLY ONCE. I then abandoned all [Tactical] flashpoint missions that I had. I then had to find someone willing to help group with me to complete Assault on Tython. Once I did this I was able to solo Korriban Incursions and the one after it.
  5. This is an awesome idea! Get on this Bioware! Here's another idea... Queues for world bosses.
  6. Getting an SSD will help but it depends on the SATA III controller on your board. Mine sucks so my load times are slower than most SSD owners. My bro has an SSD and his load times are faster than mine but he's using an Intel board and I'm using an AMD board. He has an Nvidia GTX 550Ti and I have a 570. My load times are between 20-45 seconds and his are 10-30 seconds. A recent benchmark revealed that my SSD + Memory Controller combo was yielding ~310mb/s on a Marvell SATA controller.
  7. I have an idea, How about adding personal meters that one can only see once the instanced event is over? That way you can see how you did once it's all over with and you can then choose to share this information at your own discretion. Make it a feature that you have to enable as well. Parsers are ok but they don't show critical information such as absorbs from shields and what not.
  8. Hello Bioware, I have a question. Will we be seeing the current space missions revamped to support multiple players simultaneously (and potentially off rails)? If something like this comes out in the future in addition to the PVP my head will go not only to the roof (where it is now with the current announcement) but through it and beyond!
  9. You have ruined yet another keyboard of mine Bioware. Out of excitement I spilled my drink over inside of it. On that note, WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! FINALLY!! Ground to Space PVE and space exploration are next I hope.
  10. WOOOOOT!!! Thank You Bioware! This MMO is becoming more and more alive with every patch!
  11. It seems as though Bioware/EA are really making a push for subs with the latest changes and the ad blitz. I don't mind them giving Makeb away for free if it brings more people into the fold, but such a bold and potentially desperate move makes me worry about their financial prospects. With GTA5 on the horizon and FFXIV pulling subs from every MMO, I believe my concerns are reasonably founded. Then again maybe I'm just paranoid.
  12. This seems like an unplanned desperate move on BW/EA's part. Given all of the new games that are coming out they must be bleeding subs.
  13. Note this for the future BW/EA. With all the newer games coming out I understand that you want to give subscribers more people to play end-game content with but the way you went about it was all wrong. How could you not expect blow-back? This will draw subscribers away from this game and onto those very games you are trying to dissuade them from.
  14. Hmm I should have figured there would be a thread about this already.
  15. Hello Bioware, I have an idea for something to implement in the future. How about freeing up character names taken up by users who haven't played the game in over 2 years that other people are trying to use? There are a lot of good names taken up by people who don't plan on ever returning to this game.
  16. I wholly agree. Those 2 lockouts need to be separate! If you're gonna copy other MMO's at least do it better!
  17. That is exactly what I want to promote, helping other people out. I'm sure Bioware can tweek this idea into a working solution.
  18. Well you could limit it to only 1 or 2 reruns per week. Should add that on my post thanks.
  19. I believe this will strengthen the community as a whole as well as bonds within guilds. There are so many pugs who quit Operations after doing the weekly OPS missions, subsequently preventing me from completing these OPS unless 7-15 other people happen to be on the same boat as I am. It would be perfect if I could finish these OPS as well as help out a guildie. I don't care about the loot, I just want to cultivate an environment consisting of people helping one another instead of the selfishness that the current model promotes. Guilds have schedules they set up but sometimes people don't show up because life gets in the way. The best thing to do at this point is to help other guildies as well as new players, not to mention ourselves with the proposed change. It's a win/win situation! This small change will promote an environment of brotherhood and encourage others who want to build stronger guilds to do the same. UPDATE: One should either be allowed to only rerun an OPS 1 to 2 times per week to prevent gear farming or be locked out of gear rolls completely.
  20. I agree. This will strengthen the community and bonds within guilds. There are so many quitters who quit after the weekly and I can never clear these OPS because of people who want full runs. I don't care about the loot. I would love to cultivate an environment of people helping one another instead of the selfishness that the current model promotes.
  21. I wholly agree. Dailies are more like homework than anything fun. We need more randomness in this game. We need events that occur every 15 minutes to an hour. We need content that doesn't require a traditional MMO setup (Tank, Heal, DPS) to decrease queue/wait times when there's a lack of a class available. We need more dangerous and uncharted areas to explorer to find things. We also need adds that do more than just stand around in groups of 3. If Bioware does any (hopefully all) of these things they will have my sub for at least 7 years.
