a few companions actually had different primary weapons back in beta. but for the sake of balance they were changed. aric being one of them.

my laptop runs this game on high beautifully. in fact ive ran this, warframe, and smite all at the same time just to test my computers output (all at max settings) and ive never had a problem. then again I do have an alienware laptop

Part of me thinks Lana is an ex-Watcher, and not a Sith at all, dunno why.
Also, I'm pretty sure we won't be getting any companions with story/significant story again, nor any updates to existing companions (and not any story content outside of "wee! flashpoints!" - I've not even done the KDY stuff)
first of all I think bioware should be commended on trying to bring the sgrs to star wars 1 step at a time. I mean come on now we can actually flirt with a council member. that's pretty awesome. and there are many more sgr characters being introduced. id expect out next companion to be the same way. second in regards to lana I have a strong feeling that due to her dialogue of bein able to sense this new disturbance and her bein possibly connected to it suggest that she as well is......one of the emperors children. the message from the hand suggest possible story lore as well. I think shiz is bout to get real.

It works as a defense cooldown should: amazing when it's up, but it's gone for a good while afterward. It also scales off of Bonus Healing, which scales off of Strength and Power, making it more effective in the hands of a DPS.
All the changes have made Vengeance go from kinda tanky to super tanky. Deafening Defense makes Endure Pain your first line of defense, and once that's broken down, Enraged Defense is your next. It makes cooldown cycling so much easier, because before, Endure Pain was kinda useless without another layer of defense, like Saber Ward. Now it makes you as tough as a tank for 10 seconds on top of the temporary heal. We might just see Vengeance become a new FotM.
finally someone who understands. I was just talking to my guildie the other day that the enraged defense changes would completely change jug meta and it has, which is great. I think the few ppl who are complaining about it are the ones who just are used to jugs being a threat. our sustain is finally where its supposed to be at for a class that was advertised as a wall of destruction. and the buffs to vengeance are a godsend for pvp. ravage root and proc are what define the class now, love it or hate it. im sure most ppl don't like that it relies on a channel but with the damage output it can do it would kinda need it. with a ravage,shatter,impale,ravage combo u can EASILY do over 30k damage within like 10secs and have the sustain to make it worthwhile. juggs are in a great place I think. we can easily compete with marauders now cuz our damage output has increased as well as our survivability.

Bring them back as a "founder" vendor so only the people around when they where in game can get their hands on them.
I too would ONLY be ok with that if they had a founder vendor. elitist or not I think its only fair that ppl who have been dedicated to SWTOR since day 1 get the unique gear that was available. its us that have kept the game running tbh.

as someone who plays smite religiously almost so much as swtor im somewhat conflicted by this. tho smite community is much more positive than swtor's and we've been keepin up with the voting for some time now.

Yeh the relics terrible but I can't stand the pvp grind. Main hand atm guild farming it but I'm just really disappointed in my numbers in HM DP were atrocious
changed the relic out to the obroan one now this is my best parse so far
that's better but u should work on ur rotation. in a perfect rotation u should never have to use assault (or almost never) as ur rage consumtion should be sustain with sundering assault and saber throw. that's how the top ppl for Veng have their numbers.

They arent being 'given' anything. Theyre exchanging money for a product. Stop acting like youre special..The armor is not the same. It doesnt have any sort of stats and has no bearing on your gaming experience.

It's not all that difficult to get battlemaster. I have 3 characters in the 70's with my other 55's in the 50's.
I can only pvp for so much personally. especially after 50 once its slows down exponentiallly

I don't use this kind of gear on my characters either but no harm done, last I checked, for people to have fun on their own terms. It's a game after all.

It's kind of odd you are complaining about roughly one third of an armor design being released on the cartel market. The entire bottom portion is gone.
They didn't even edit it well. The quality of the work is amateurish. It's like looking at TES: oblivion/skyrim fan made skimpy armor mods. I don't find anything wrong with making skimpy armor out of existing armor sets, but I do expect higher quality edits from "professionals".

I had to edit the red tubing a bit cause simply cutting them off looked dumb. They didn't seem to mind so much...
Texture editing isn't much different than altering images in photoshop. Assuming they use a similar system as other games.
my only issue was that they picked an armor set that required significant effort to obtain to remodel to give away. I mean yea it different but its clear was it was modeled from. I would rather they either use a model that was obtainable to everyone easily or just made anew set completely.

No one's being given anything. Either someone has to buy a CM pack or someone has to buy it off the GTN from someone who bought a CM pack.
If you get this upset about something as trivial as a computer game, what do you do when something really important in your life happens?
there are lots of things that upset me. I just choose whether or not to vocalize it. again its one of my pet peeves and its something that has happened multiple times. and when something important happens I'll deal with it then. as of now its a minor issue in a minor thread in the vast majority of the forum. but one I choose to mention. problem with that?

Yeah, I'll just file this complaint under the "special snowflake" section then.
Seriously, this elitist crap makes no sense at all.
First off, the set you have IS DIFFERENT from the set we get now. (And not just a little like a different colour, no it is very different)
Secondly, there are no mods in this set and there is no set bonus, so this is just an empty shell.
Thirdly, you really think it is a valid argument to say that if someone wasn't around when that set was available they only have themselves to blame?
Finally, you should probably leave the game and never look back if this kind of thing annoys you because they are bringing back alot of the old (largely not available) sets as not only cartel pack gear with slight changes, but also as reputation rewards since ALOT of players have been asking for them (including alot of players who were around when they were available, but simply wasn't playing that class at that time).
And your main argument for all this is basically "but then I won't feel special any more"...
there's nothing elitist about it. its about working for something vs being given something. and I already said its different. and no its not very different its a scaled down of the original. if u have eyes ud see that. 2nd I never said anything about caring for the set for its mods. why would I waste my time with lvl 50 mods??? that goes for everyone who brought that point up. I could care less about the mods, I care for the shell which is wat most ppl obtain the set for. 3rd yea I do think its a valid argument, that applies to all events as well. if the rakghoul event had never came back iwouldve been upset but I would've realized "hey I should've been there when they had it". and finally so wat if it annoys me? can I not be annoyed by something in game? do u applaud everything in this game? I doubt it. I never said anything about quitting like many ppl claim to do I merely stated my opinion on something I don't agree with. so everyone who replied with anything along the lines of "boohoo cry some more" ur just wasting my time and space in my thread so plz leave.

as one who worked really hard to get the battlemaster gear im highly annoyed that they made ANOTHER variant of a hard to obtain armor. I mean yea it not exactly like it but its very close and I feel like bioware is catering to the small minority of players who don't wanna work to obtain anything of value or wasn't around when it was available to the market. usually I don't post complaint threads but this really annoyed me.... anywho gj on everything else bioware.

yea.... that would def break the game. and also makes classes boring if they can all equip the same weapons. from and rp perspective its awesome. from a competitive or standard game perspective bad idea.

oh yea and I already kno the jugg debut trailer had a "similar" version of this armor but obviously that didn't make it into the final game.

see my icon? that's the armor I would like to see in game. idk why they make an icon for something that didntt exist. I kno a similar variant of the mask exist (atleast ive seen the model don't kno if its actually obtainable) but the armor model def doesn't.
