  1. im so indifferent on the final choice. Like I wanted to join Acina but as the Wrath having served several masters who have betrayed or tried to kill me i wasnt inclined to serve again and lose all i worked for. However I really wanted to be part of the empire again. Literally hardest choice ive ever made in this game. Hopefully i'll still be affiliated with the Empire despite declining becoming a member again.
  2. So how does this address server population, especially on PVP servers. Have you seen the population numbers for Prophecy of the Five? Have you seen the population numbers of Jung Ma? These servers are dead and this issue needs to be addressed. Will there be merges? Will there by complimentary transfers? Not to mention Ranked Arenas are completely dead on PoT5. There's even a wait for regular warzones these days.

as much as i hate to bring this up, the fact that pvp is "dead" on such servers that were made for pvp goes to show how such a small percentage of ppl actually pvp, as this is from a big pvper. i expect them to do another server merge as that seems to be the easiest way to deal with the population issue but at the cost of removing pvp servers in general cuz lets face it, they aint that popular.

  3. Make him an alien, and make him romanceable! That would be just awesome! Fingers crossed that will be possible!

dont get me wrong i def want him romanceable but after investing so much time in my male wrath x theron love story and yet i didnt even get a thanks in the current story with ziost im hopin to get more from him, like i think a sith teachin him the ways of the force, among other dark side things ;) , would be pretty fun.

*edit* also the only reason i dont want an alien force male is cuz the only force males we have now are already alien.

  4. i think it'd be really cool if bioware reintroduces the force related characters (like theron) as potential force users after completing a series of quests kinda like in kotor 2. this expansion is probly the best time to try something different like that since our choices matter and we wont be able to recruit EVERY single companion from every class story.
  5. As a CE owner since launch, I will say this: Get over it.

Sure, updates to the vendor are nice but a single purchase over 3 years ago doesn't entitle you to special privileges beyond what having a CE key gives you.

Would I like to see more in the CE vendor? Sure, but to expect a constant flow of new trinkets is just absurd.

Personally, I think they should have a regular rotation of updates for ALL the specialty vendors... Pre-Order, Sec Key, VIP, CE, and whatever else is out there.

Release one new trinket on a different vendor with every X.X update and call it good.

i dont think expecting a constant flow is unreasonable since thats how the CM is. and there nothing wrong with wanting something since thats how many minorities in swtor ( pvp, vintage shells, cm armors) get wat they want. they voice their opinion.

  6. Th VIP band doesn't give you access to the CE vendor. It gives access to the VIP vendor, which sells a single item.

tbh i feel bad for that guy. 3+ years and he's only had 1 item in his stock and its like the ugliest car in existence.

  7. as many know out of all the swtor "factions" (i.e. pvp, pve, subs, etc) the CE holders have gotten the largest shaft since day 1. over the 3+ years of swtor the CE vendor has received an update of an additional 6 items which is far from as dynamic as it was advertised initially, where as the CM has received 100s of items added to it. now i personally dont think this is very fair (this applies to VIP/security vendor as well but to a lesser degree) especially with all the items being introduced that bioware hasnt really attempted to address the issue to the ppl that IMO have been the most dedicated to the game since its conception.

for example the revan gear thats been unreleased i think should be given to those who been here since day 1 (or just CE ppl) and while im sure ppl could make the argument of "well thats not fair to everyone else" but then again neither is bringing back old shells of gear for ppl who didnt participate in the early years or making raid gear the best gear for those who dont raid or limited edition pvp titles. the point is bioware has done its best to cater to every crowd in the game (which is good) except the CE holders (which is bad).

of course an alternate option of helping the founders of swtor is to take a page from the Warframe (another popular online game) crowd of ppl. they implemented a founder system as well in their early days and to show their devotion to the ppl who sustained their game created a founders forum where they would be involved in the ongoings of the game before anyone else as well as have some input on future developments like new weapons, new enemies, etc. i think swtor could do that. it would keep the developers involved with the community and keep the loyalist happy. and in addition to that, since we know the cartel mart isnt going anywhere why dont you let the CE holders hold a poll with every released pack and let us add one item from the pack into the CE store. that would probly solve most issues on that front (as a quick fix atleast).

idk i just dont wanna feel like my group of ppl is gettin shoved aside and forgotten even though we too did alot to help support swtor.

  8. I, too, expect there to be some kind of class mission. I don't think it will be with the Emperor but maybe the hand. Perhaps they try to "force" us to fight for the Emperor? Or maybe try something that would prevent us from fighting the Emperor. Maybe something along the lines of what happens to the Knight.

Being placed under the Emperor's control to do his bidding until we break free, or he is finish with us.

The Emperor did say, "Don't worry Wrath. You are still special to me, that's why I will kill you last."

I just wish, for the end, they would allow us to work with the Knight to take down the Emperor. Perhaps, if we have a Warrior and a Knight, they could find a way for them to both be in a scene together. It would especially be epic for me because my Warrior and Knight are sisters.

that quote the Emperor says is another reason i think they will have a personal story, i mean there are many hints towards doing so especially in regards to the class mission u do get. i mean hopeful wishing aside, logically it makes sense.

  9. No player character will be Emperor.

As for class mission, I expect one to be there. But Wrath won't be fighting Emperor alone, so the fight is for raid and for final expansion quest, class mission will only have conversation.

i dont expect them to actaully act as emperor in game hence my marr theory. and i dont think it will be a final expansion quest seeing that the next expansion will most likely have us fight him, and swtor isnt ending within the year.

  10. so for all those who played the warrior in SoR im sure u all came across the dialogue where Marr questions what the Wrath will do in terms of the Emperor. now seeing as this dialogue in reference to him only applies to the SW i feel its highly likely that a personal showdown will come between the two, i mean imo i think it would be dumb not to make a class mission that has them encounter each other since u served as him Wrath in the beginning.

now i also know this probly upsets those who are all "Inq is gonna be next Emperor" crowd. now im not saying the Wrath will take his place but story wise i think it makes sense or since the Wrath and Marr have a mutual respect/relationship Marr would be the "face" of the empire while the Wrath is the true Emperor. but thats just my thoughts on it.

how do others feel how the fate of the Wrath and Emperor will go down? do u think itll be a class mission like the JK and then his "this isnt my true form" will be a raid?

  11. Unlike the Sith Warrior, the Jedi Knight was not even eligible to be taunted by the Emperor at the end of the expansion. Given previous events, I find that disheartening but whatever.

You'd think the Emperor would hold something akin to a grudge, assuming that's possible in his case. :p

tbh i have a huge inkling that it will end with the SW fighting the Emperor like the JK did. and then maybe his "true form" as a raid boss" for 4.0

  12. I also played them in quick succession and had the same impression. In fact I was disappointed in the Baras fight cause it lacked the epicness of the Thanaton fight.

tbh i felt that they had something different intended for the fight since idk how many noticed but that ending is the only ending (that ive seen atleast) where u dont talk to ur companions or acknowledge to others ur achievement afterwards. it felt very open ended.

  13. As much as I've debated with you I agree with most of this. On the other hand I would argue the warriors skill with his blade is something that is unique to the Sith of this era too. The sorcerer proves beyond all other sorcerers of his era by mastering a technique that none of them have displayed proficiency in. The warrior's physical prowess and martial skill with the blade is much the same in this regard. Not as flashy sure but he's gone far as a swordsman and as a.. well, warrior. Most Sith usually branch out into sorcery by this point but the warrior hasn't. Not to mention the Warrior can now use blasts of pure dark side energy. There was another character who was shown to do the same..

Exar Kun and he required an amulet to do it. The warriors blasts are, of course, inferior but then again he doesn't have the amulet. Still the amulet was created by Exar Kun's knowledge in sorcery in order to pull off what he does with it. It's interesting the warrior can do that with perhaps sheer will as we haven't seen him practice sorcery on the side to develop such a technique. I agree with you though. Nox is certainly not weaker than the warrior but as my stance has been in the past I'd argue the warrior certainly isn't weaker than Nox either.

the way i see it is in terms of NATURAL power the SW is stronger. as many has stated he worked hard and trained hard to attain the power he has, even numerous DC member acknowledge his strength, both in the Baras fight and in the subsequent expansions. in terms of ranks = power it can go both ways. Both are clearly at (at the minimum) DC level power. and we arent talking powerbases cuz this is a 1v1 scenario. Now the inquisitor's main sorce of power is the force ghosts he bound to himself, whether u consider it fair or not isnt the point now but even he acknowledges the majority of his strength came from them during the cutscene of whether or not he released them. and speaking on that brings another point. u have to factor in whether or not the SI keeps the ghosts bound to him or not, since u have the option to release most of them. in this regard his power could fluctuate greatly. however as the SW this isnt a problem since he never relied on an outside source to begin with, so no matter what route u took his power is always constant.

as mentioned before both have fought quite impressive feats (my personal opinion is SW had more reputable opponents). And we have seen the warrior has also as some have mentioned increased his range of force techniques where as the SI hasnt really shown any apparent improvement in skill. in fact during the cutscene for the SoR expansion intro it was Ashara who foretold the SI of the looming threat yet he didnt sense it himself. But the SW had a vision of the events to come therefore IF his affinity to the force were weaker than the SI's (as some had theorized) then thats certainly not the case now.

i havent finished 3.0 with the inquistor yet so i cant comment on everything dialogue ppl referenced to him but for the warrior Vowrawn, Marr, and Revan either see him as an ally or acknowledge his strength, in fact while Marr does indeed trusts the SI, only to the SW does he ask what will he do in regards to the Emperor. thus implying it was only a task the HE could undertake (also why i suspect that in 4.0 it will be the SW fighting the emperor akin to how the JK did). so while many think SI may become Emperor due to his strength and skill in sorcery i believe the SW is at the least gonna become more suited as the future Emperor. whether u find that relevant or not is up to u but it is something to consider.

  14. While many of your points are valid, I think the enemies SW faced were of higher caliber, and this is a reliable way to tell which of these two are superior. I have played SI before SW so feel free to list any notable enemies SI defeated. I will argue in favour of the Wrath because nobody else did. I agree that SW had walked a privileged path and had things easy, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he is weaker. It could be argued that SI faced harder circumstances simply because he was relatively weaker.

We just have to look at the enemies he defeated in comparison to SI:

Darth Baras, who almost dominated the DC whereas Thenaton was regarded as a lesser. Baras was manipulative, but if he were not powerful his deceit alone wouldn't have bent whole DS to his will. If not for SW, he would have been declared emperor's voice and seized entire control of the empire. He is a better sith than Thenaton.

Noman Kaar, who fatally injured Baras and defeated Darth Ekkage(DC member. She killed a sith lord in few seconds), eliminated Sith Infiltrators which were the best assassins in the galaxy. So when SI defeated Lord Jash, SW defeated a Jedi Master who bested DC member. In Tatooin, SI was already capable of defeating 2 Jedi Masters without help from companion; master Yonlach, a legendary Jedi teacher, and Master Yuli, the best duelist Yonlach has ever taught.

SW enlisted help of Baras's apprentice to defeate Darth Vengean, but the apprentice was needed to unlock the chamber of Darth Vengean. We don't know if he was incapable of defeating Darth Vengean alone, but from his other exploits, I would reckon he was capable.

In Hoth, SW defeated Master Xerender, one of the best Jedi leaders in war efforts and who defeated Baras; he goes on to defeat Xerender's master(forgot his name) who has been communing with the force in his trap for a decade and who claims to have understanding of force transcendent any force users.

In Corellia, SW kills 3 Jedi masters simultaneously. One of Jedi Masters and his guards die in less than one second during the cutscene, though honestly that was done to ease the fight the for player; it still counts as his feat.

In Voss, SW defeats Voice of the Emperor(presumably similar to one that JK killed) empowered by Mel-Kor.

Lord Draghg who easily bested Vaurewn, another DC member.

At the highest estimation, SW was stronger than DC member Darth Ekkage at the end of Chapter 1. The same cannot be said of SI. Many details have slipped my memory, but I don't recall SI taking 3 Jedi Masters simultaneously nor facing enemies such as Voice of the Emperor and Mel-Kor either. Thenaton might be stronger than Baras(which I doubt due to other DC members disposition towards him and Baras being empowered by ancient Sith spirit), but I don't see him being definitely more powerful than Darth Ekkage, Xerender or his stronger master, or Noman Karr. I think we all tend to forget the enemies SW defeats before facing Baras because Baras was relatively unimpressive, and we automatically assume later enemies are stronger than enemies one faced earlier; from a story-point of view, this is not true; For instance, Noman Karr was a man who anihilated the best assassins' order in the galaxy and defeated Baras(surprise!) and a DC member, and SW faced him at the end of Chapter 1.

I also think a Wrath wouldn't be deemed as such intimating figure if he were not capable of executing a rogue DC member and his power base. Lord Scourge was DC-caliber(he killed one) 300 years ago and was only bested by Darth Nihiriss, one of the most powerful DC Darths at that time. 300 years later, he would have become immensely powerful and I can't imagine the emperor appointing someone weaker than that, which implies that SW at the end of Chapter 2 was a force to be feared even by DC members.

Hence I tend to believe SW being more powerful, but I am willing to change my view if someone could refute my points.

this soo much. both sith were the first two classes i got to 55 and i loved them both but i too have to give it to SW in terms of raw power and skill. not only does he accomplish all these feats but it was also by his own power, not enhanced by any rituals, spirits, alchemy, etc. its all just him and that cant be said for many legendary sith before him. tbh by the end of SWTOR i believe the Wrath may be considered one of if not the strongest (with the inquisitor im sure) sith in history. And even in the expansion(s) Marr himself acknowledges the strength of the Wrath numerous times, and Marr's the ring leader of the council.

  15. idk judging by the dialogue from several sources

Vowrawn, Marr, hell even Revan himself

in the SW role i feel that he may be the one to personally defeat the emperor as the jedi knight did. and then maybe he'd come back in a stronger form as a raid boss. but if theyre gonna continue the class story line i feel its the only reasonable end.
