Sometimes when computers actually just shut down, it's an overheating problem. When was the last time you blew all the dust out?

I have hands at least large enough to palm a basketball, and I use the Naga Epic with the largest grip panel. Works great for me. It is spendy though.

+1 A universal keybind for all characters, or a way to copy from one to another would be great. I have a fairly involved keybind set up, but its the same for all alts - setting it up each time is a real pain.

Yup. You'd think it is redundant, but I don't know for sure. Have you ever seen a Bantha with out its fur? Maybe its very muscular under there. Maybe they are really thin and that thick wool just makes them look much bigger than the are. Maybe they are really fat. I don't care to look myself! Thanks for playing.

While the need for the ability to change legacy names may or may not be there - I think its pretty safe to say that for anything permanent like this, with no ability to redo it, should have some fail safes in place. If you enter "McDonald" you're going to get Mcdonald. You may or may not know this. Something that says "only the first letter may be capitalized" would be beneficial. Then a prompt asking if you are sure this is the name you want would help alleviate a LOT of the problems we're seeing regarding this on the forums.

I think Legacy name changes should be offered at some point. Just like a lot of other games in the past have launched with the inability to change names and the service eventually comes around, I think the same will happen here. Other games charge what? 10 bones for a name change? EA WILL get on board with that, it is just a matter of time. Me, I picked a name I like for my legacy, my only issue with it is I later discovered its the same last name as a rather well known companion on the other faction. Boo.

Good looking out for the East Coaster who normally plays in the morning when you would prefer them to take the servers down.

Neat idea, but because of paying voice actors alone, I doubt you'll ever see anything like this.

Add in another vote for official server forums. I applaud the fact that many have taken initiative and created player-ran forums, but the bulk of SWTOR forum goers will not use them as can be seen by the fact that they're all ghost towns. Bioware needs to step up and provide server specific boards for everyone to use. I frequently would visit server forums when joining a new MMO (new to me, not new in its life, necessarily) to get a sense of what each servers community was like, and pick a server to play on accordingly.

I personally think its too fast myself. I stopped playing my main for a week to play some alts just because I was not ready for him to continue progressing as fast as he was. That said, now that the game is live and precedent is set, they should not, and most likely will not make any drastic XP gain changes. If adjusted at all it probably shouldn't be anymore than 2-3% in any direction.

The personal ships are a great starting point for an eventual "player housing" system. They are kind of like one now. It's your base of operations, theres a bed in there, access to your cargo (bank) and all your best [npc]buddies inside. I would like to see them add the ability for different paint jobs, both in and out. The ability to gather and place trophys/items/decorations -- Somewhere in between the level of customization of SWG and the hook system in LOTRO. I also think the personal ships should have a mailbox. If I am able to receive a holo call from someone on a different planet, my ship should be able to receive a simple text based message too! As far as space combat goes, it is fun, but it is only a side game at this point. Some filler content for that pesky last 1/8 of the XP needed for your next level before you move to the next system. I would definitely like to see it expanded upon. Guild capital ships for guild halls. PVP battles between personal ships and guild ships...

The initial rush always dies in a few weeks. People were on vacation over the holidays. Then Bioware has been increasing the server pop cap. The biggest mistake I think Bioware made: too many servers. The pop caps should have been higher with less servers. Some of them are going to have an almost non-existant player base I think (especially the ones that were launched after the early access started.)

It has not been decided yet. Still working out some details with the co-host I have lined up. You're actually probably further along than I am, but when I have some details other than "I'm starting a podcast" I'll shoot you a note and maybe we can work in some collaboration.

Hey good luck with the podcast! I too am a podcaster and am in the middle of planning a SWTOR cast myself, so can't help with the co-hosting thing as my podcasting time is full up, but I just wanted to wish you luck on it. Getting a new one off the ground can be a pain in the rear sometimes!

IMO, probably full Arsenal. Though I'm hearing quite a few people are leveling nicely going Bodyguard when they get Torian/Blizz.

the unfortunate reality here is, it looks like at the end of 2011 Windows Phone 7 has 2% market share. It's a wonder M$ is still working on it, actually. Unless they come up with something amazing in a future release, WP7 will never be able to compete or have the same amount of apps available for it.

I think they could probably reduce the hotkey icon size by 25% or so and fit a few more in on the bottom. I'm all keybinds though, and never keep the companion bar open (open it if I want to change something then back to close) and my merc has all his skills and a few other things on 2 bottom bars and one side bar at lvl 39.

I'm not at 50 yet but I would say no big deal, don't rush it. I actually started playing alts earlier than normal because I felt my BH was leveling to fast. Brand new game: theres not going to be a TON of stuff to do at 50. Repeatables. You've got some time before you start to fall behind the curve.
