On every game except this one I get 80 to 110 FPS but this game I'm getting 30 FPS fleet (was 100 before the last patch) and 1-10 on Ilum. PvP is always laggy. Regular quests and world stuff isn't so bad. This game is broken. To fix the lag I'm deleting my copy of SWTOR and halting my account. I have tried everything under the sun to fix these issues. So has the community... Bioware is hiding the issues, but everybody is aware. Bioware is Fail-ware. Adieu... it was an interesting experience. This is the last time I support Bioware.

So has the community. The boards are rife with attempts to fix the lag but you can't fix an engine that's borked. I question the competence of the development team. Their inability to even address these issues seriously proves what low-grade programmers they are. Bioware is Fail-ware. Adieu... it was an interesting experience. Thanks, I'll check on the vertical sync when I get home. Any other graphic settings suggestions? Although I can run on high, I may not mind running low settings if it will smooth out pvp chop. I can't recall what hilts I have on my sabers. I'll double-check that. Good suggestions, thanks.

That's a good idea, but I lag pretty hard in pvp for some reason and that takes the fun out of it. My vid card is great but I think I'm hitting lag from some other bottleneck. I can run other games top resolution no lag, but this game is seriously laggy in pvp for some reason. When I watch videos of other people running around in pvp without the choppiness and the lag I experience, I have to wonder how much fun they're having!

Out of frustration I quit and started a Commando. But I hope you're right about the 35-40 grind.. I'll try to stick it out.

So I got Doc recently and it's great using him, he heals great! But I notice without Kira killing mobs with me, mobs die PAINFULLY SLOW! I think my dps companion was doing twice the dps I'm doing... So I have to wonder, why is my dps so low at 36? I'm Annihilation spec and my gear is same or one level lower with upgraded hilts and mods etc, and I'm using stims and buffs (Biochem) and the Anni spec and rotation stickied to this forum. And my dps is bad. How bad? I got into a group with a Gunslinger and a Sage and they were destroying mobs while I felt like I was swinging a nerf bat at them. Every fight they'd finish their elites twice as fast as me (we were comparing time to kill and focusing on separate mobs). They were done twice as fast as me every time. Also they were each less squishy than I was -- the healer had to focus on me almost entirely. Is this going to get any better? Leveling has been hell and it seems that now i'm a glass cannon without the ability to dps. I know the class takes a lot more skill than others, and I'm doing everything right - Force Leap (15) + Overload Saber (in air) -> Zealous Strike -> Cauterize -> Slash -> Master Strike When Zen pops up I use that then follow the priority rotation: Overload Saber > Cauterize (do not refresh early!) > Merciless Slash > Zealous Strike > Force Leap > Master Strike / Strike > Slash Vs groups I do something different, but for gold elites that is where i'm struggling and that is the rotation / priority that i use. I'm stacking strength, accuracy (it's only 92% right now) and power. What am I missing??

Judging by some of the responses the OP is getting, I can get a good sense of what a bunch of useless crap is said on these forums.

I'm plugging along doing slicing assuming out of complete naivety that I'm going to make gains doing credit lockboxes. I start to wonder why my profits are not soaring like they should be at 400 skill level in slicing and I look at this; I do a rich mission for 2050 creds. After almost an hour I get a return of 2144 creds. At my level I can kill a silver-level mob for more credits than that. Pathetic crafting system from the very top to the very bottom. It would be nice if it weren't totally useless and a time/money sink. There is no economy in the game. Poor management.

It's funny that Bio wont make in-game macros available but they'll soft-promote the Naga which allows that functionality that most mmporgs have built-in. Seems fishy to me. The Marauder is much easier with the mouse, that's for damn sure.

Sorcs are unbelievable in PVP. But rather than be a stupid ***** and call for Sorc nerfs - which just destroy the fun of playing a *working* class - I'm going to ask Bioware to fix the classes that can't stand up to a working class. In other words: Bioware, please fix the classes that are BROKEN! Those of you who call for nerfs are idiots.

I agree.. 28-33 has been hell. I've upgraded my gear to prototype/epic and feel like i'm barely at the level my other classes are with only greens on. I enjoy the challenge, but sometimes i think - why did pack of mobs 3 levels lower than me just kill me? Oh yeah, rebuke was on cooldown. Or I used pacify on the wrong target. Or I just took a ton of damage because the AI on my companion is tarded sometimes. That point really pisses me off. My companions are kinda dumb. I guess I should bring out T7 again.. at least he doesn't stand there trying to pick flowers for 10 minutes like Kira. She is really ditsy.

Try them both. The Sentinel is very irritating sometimes... I feel like I have no armor and if I don't press 20 keys in the right order then I die, every single fight. Even trash mobs can be a challenge if you don't keep up on your gear. With our abilities on cool down (or if you forget to use them) you die really quickly. If you want a squishy dps, go Marauder. If you want something beefier, go Guardian. In PvP my guardian friend usually gets 11 badges. I have never won more than 6 on my sentinel. 3 is typical though. Yeah it might be player skill and i'm only 33. But I also lag like mad in the game and there's only so much you can do at 10 fps pvp when people are running in circles around you. I do enjoy my sent, but at times it gets very tiring having to wait for cd's nearly every fight if my gear isn't same or one level lower. Also I cannot get anybody to invite me for flash points. They always want a tank. Sentinels on some servers (I have played on 3) get laughed at when they ask for groups in general. I left that server fast. :/

You guys aren't even considering stealth nerfs here.. Bioware has been caught doing that, you know. Without meters it's hard to detect. They're underhanded at Bio and they really keep punishing Republic players for some reason. It's very odd.

I'm only leveling one right now but after the patch I've died to mobs I used to clean up without a problem I feel like leveling is work instead of fun.

agreed. I shouldn't have to tab 6 times to target a mob standing directly in front of me by himself 15' away.
