One point i'll give op is my fresh alt, and 3 others in the 15-24 bracket were thrown into the Czerka Labs flashpoint. First boss enrages after x minutes, seeing 4 dps players with 3 abilities lightly tapping on it before they get fried is ... priceless. They should at least limit the flashpoints available for the first 30 levels so new players don't end up fearing flashpoints.

The new Star Wars movies help in this regard, as it will direct a horde of new players to the game, and from that mass, hopefully a % will subscribe and buy cartel coin items. Once the game is no longer commercially viable, it will be Tabula Rasa'd.

"Dear players, we are sorry for the rollback on the Harbinger server, it would be simply too time consuming and technical to be able to restore each player affected by the rollback back to their original point before it happened, as such we will be compensating all players on Harbinger server with 500 Cartel Coins as a token of our sincerity in the losses that were suffered. Further, we encourage any players who had made Cartel Coin purchases in the affected period of time, that are left without the items they had purchased and without the coins used to purchase them, to open up a ticket, and we will individually investigate each report to ensure the Cartel Coins themselves do get restored. Once again we apologize for the server's unexpected rollback, and hope that the Cartel Coin restoration and 500 bonus Cartel Coins helps soften the blow to our Harbinger players. Yeah all my heroics on Hoth got wiped out, Gargath kill undone, weekly on worldbosses undone, people i added to friends taken off (boo i forgot their names ) and my main class story rolled back.. Not even mentioning credits /gtn / money and other stuff

It's fixed once someone accepts to join your group.

You forget that QYZEN makes you go kill world bosses, and MX makes you do PVP. Not purely singleplayer!

I wonder if it was location based, My main logged out on Hoth, was on Fleet after rollback. My alt was rolled back on NarShaddaa from Heroic area back to the main camp.

I'm scared to play any further tonight for fear of it going away too.....

My Alt got de'leveled and lost heroic missions. My main lost hours of heroic missions / tauntaun tokens / world boss kills/ went from Hoth to Fleet. GTN was completely broken. Other stuff i havn't checked yet too What's going on?

Dear Eric, my issue is there seems to have been a server rollback on Harbinger just now. My alt has been de-leveled, my main has lost hours of Heroic Mission farming, mail i had collected is back in mail, the GTN was completely broken, and everything was just peachy otherwise.

Our GTN seems broken completely atm, can't place a sale or search anything/browse.

As of time of this posting The Harbinger Server suffered a server rollback. We were kicked back to character select, and an unknown time of rollback has been applied. Did any other server go through the same thing? What did you lose in the process? Devs care to comment on what happened and why there was a need to do a server rollback?

If it's error 208 do 2 things: 1) remove the 'patch' folder from the install directory (cut and paste it somewhere else if you're worried), and try again, after ensuring that both swtor.exe and launcher.exe processes are killed off from task manager. 2) Use the repair launcher utility http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/GUIDE-Launcher-Troubleshooting/m-p/4805820#U4805820 Looking at this bit: "II. Launcher Cannot Patch Itself In order to resolve this issue, we ask that you follow the below steps exactly. If they are not followed in this order, the file may not execute correctly: Open your task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and ensure all SWTOR and Launcher processes have been shut down. Give them a whirl, if that doesn't work, use a VPN to update your launcher with, if that doesn't work, follow the other steps in the above link, and if they don't work, post here again and we'll try our luck with something else! This explains why my new char's solo Ess run was so pathetic on drops, only a few crystals. Sad I just wanted 1 piece of gear, any gear, any slot. Something. Hell i'd take the salt and pepper shakes from the Esseles if i could.

I don't usually post much on the forums, but since i had great difficulty myself re-installing the game, i figured i might as well pass on that info to you, to give to your sis-in-law, so that her pain is lessened. Assuming you cant take your files to her and just copy them to her HDD, and assuming she's on Bitraider (ST icon in bottom left of her launcher), then first she'll have to remove bitraider to enable the ability to manually patch the game on her own.
