But what does getting the answers 'right' and 'wrong' mean/ effect your quest reward etc? Okay thanks. Once I've completed it i can get it anytime? or is it only right after you complete it that you can get it? Or more simply: is it in an instance I can get locked out of?

What's the deal with this Quest? - I'm usually just picking random stuff. Additionally is the datacron associated with this quest only obtainable while this quest is active? (or after you completed it? - I just want to know if its missable really.)

Cathar are part of an expac, so being a normal subscriber isn't gonna get you it anyway. They are Cathar. Cat people. Its clearly not their intention to hook people in with cat people - worst bait EVER! While I'm at it; In what way are cats or cathar even remotely similar to pandas?

Just read the HK section >.< . and the ship droids are protocol droids, as is C3PO, I5YQ and a multitude of less memorable ones, with the exception of I-Five they are pretty much the same.

yeah only the first link is at all useful - and we already have a better quality screnshot, of the same schematic, what we want is confirmation that it is in fact obtained from pvp crafting box 6. well guess we're back to square one on the PVE crystals then. ..um..what?.. If your talking about the corusca gem and lorridian crystals they are standard crafting crystals for endgame artifice - not color based. And i suggest you read the OP, b/c your posts have been vague and don't quite contribute anything.

So Togruta was asked for more? - where can i get this information? And why wasn't Togruta the new race then? I don't mean to complain, but Cathar don't sound great - haven't come across any Cathar fans (Togruta is my most awaited race personally). I'm happy with the update, just a bit suprised about this one thing. Although, I'm more concerned about what people who want to change appearance/race have to do - since we may have high levels we don't want to redo.

At any rate purple crystals do in fact seem to have at least one schematic - we've confirmed that as a definitely existing item - and are awaiting a confirmation on the grade 6 pvp box. Though we do have very little info on the PVE crystals, we can still try.

A screeny, would be great (then can post it in op as confirmation). As for EC - the only reported drops (unconfirmed), come from ECHM (thrash?) and are presumably a rare drop.

Thanks Notears. Okay so it uses the pvp crafting item therefore its a reasonable assumption that its from one of the crafting boxes, now we just need confirmation. And the PVE versions have been reportedly dropped by HM Operation bosses? - waiting on confirmations. Made some good headway, we just need to know now if the PVE schematics are in. I'll toss this into OP

Its looking like the crafting box rumors might be right - now if only we could get some better info on which one. So Please just relevant info. Is this definitely the purple version? it could be magenta - I don't know German but Violet could be a mistranslation. If this is Purple, which is likely, it means the pvp version is in the game - provided it was obtained legitimately Since it is an expertise crystal that suggests it is in one of the pvp boxes. A bit more info would be great but its a start. The schematic for the purple was not in the pre 1.2 - the only schematics in that shop were the power/endurance/critical magenta crystals. The devs said they wouldn't tell us how to get it right? they might still confirm the crafting boxes, and tell us which versions AND schematics are in game. worth a shot? - there is so much unverified info out there.

That's still very vague and unconfirmed, we've had reports, but not so much as a screeny, if the schematic was available then a screeny wouldn't be too much to ask - also what mats does it use? (if the schematic was so easily available I'd expect this sort of info to be out in the open by now) and torhead has a lot of stuff not in the game, its not reliable enough to confirm items being available in-game. The item does exist - was available pre 1.2 vendor, it sounds to me like ppl are just trolling that its in the crafting boxes though. I suppose it is a start though. maybe they'll answer this in the Q & A.

Thanks Twist - didn't think of that. And I've heard many rumors and unconfirmed accounts of the PVE (and PVP) endgame versions being available in pvp crafting boxes. My hope in this thread is that it will confirm whether its true or not etc. We really do need a dev giving us info on this there is too much hearsay. even if they say the method is def in game, but it isn't the pvp boxes - At least then we can start searching.

I think Losing affection for a roll you didn't win, would piss more players off than not gaining affection for rolls you didn't win. Especially in flashpoints which are designed to be done in full parties.

if its on the GTN chances are its from the pre 1.2 vendor. I did get involved with a WB run about crafting a 'purple' crystal involving one of the WBs on belsavis - but that sounds like the magenta version to me - though i didn't see it through so who knows.

This is a useful page but is only based on rumors - well the purple crystal part - thanks though - it DOES cover every OTHER color well.. The guide says how to get the MAGENTA crystals - that's different to purple - i have all those schematics. The screeny is interesting though - it isn't the level 50 version but where is it from? - it doesn't look fake.

crits are rare, especially so early on it seems - i've been experiencing this too. just make sure your using the comp with the +crit for slicing and hope.
