  1. That makes no sense what so ever. My sick great grandmother can maintain this game ten times better than BioWare is doing right now. It's redicolous of how unprofessional they are and it's just tragic. You sir, are a fail. And shut up before you embarasse yourself even more with the "you don't understand coding" speach. It's getting old. I doubt you even know how to do it yourself. *squish* Did I step on you this time?
  2. I've had this game for maybe 2½ weeks, and I am really disappointed. I don't have a big income, and the game is really expensive. When I bought this I expected to havce fun with the money I paid to be able to play - Instead I have to sit and watch while BioWare basically screws me over. THAT is utterly unprofessional and I think if BioWare want any subs at all, AND a game that will actually survive; They need to step it up. Blizzard learned all this the hard way, and they've actually managed to survive with a great deal of sums every month, but I doubt this game will last for a year if this continues. The players will just go bored and cancel their subscriptions and leave. I see no reason to play a game that has had a long BETA, and still be half bugged at release. That's just messed up. The Preferences are really not worth speaking of since you can basically do no changes to make yourself feel comfortable with the Interface, so either gief more options to make a UI API for the players to make their own AddOns. Because this is redicolous. BioWare, for your own sake I hope you grab your socks and hold your crotch, because you're really up for a bumpy ride.
  3. Is there anything else that BioWare can do except maintenances? The game has been released for 2 months, and it's still bugged up the arse and there is maintenance maybe 3 times a WEEK. If you are going to make a maintenance, do it once a week MINIMUM and make sure you get everything you need in there. Because 2 maintenances in 2 days in a row is just... Da***..? I expected this game to have a staff that knew what the *** they were doing and not start **** up like this. Get your **** straight BW and be professional.
  4. In case you do not know, you can respecc in Diablo. Sure, they decided that you were to be able to do that a tad late, but you can.
  5. Rift actually thought about this, and they made the Planar Attunement. This was to make people get a different kind of "leveling" to make the character stronger. Not insanely stronger, but at least a bit of an edge. Something like this would not be too shabby in this game.
  6. This guy has already won the argument. And nothing more is really needed to be said in this thread. People "cry" and "whine" because they think a class is overpowered, only based on the fact they got killed by that class. I've read quite a few pages on this thread, and I all I can say is what the hell? The thread opener keeps talking about "strategies", is there any other strategy but doing the objectives MADE in the Warzone? Or is there something I have missed? You say that you should premade with people, duh; This is one way to ensure you win constantly. Being 4 people in a group slamming everything you see is a very good way to balance PvP isn't it? I have had this game for 2 weeks, and I don't even know if I want to PvP in level 50 because all I've experienced is disappointment. They cry and whine about how much the players in their team "sucks", when all the whiners actually DO, is nothing. They run around trying to kill someone that just hammers them down, and cry over the fact they died. Where's the logic in that, really? Burning down PvP gear to make the newer generation of people being able to play, is COMPLETELY fine by me. I so no reason of NOT doing that. Those who complains afterwards of how much they "fought" and "struggled" to get their PvP gear, well hey. Kudos to you, you managed to do it harder. That's good for you, but that does not mean that the newer people has to die and be bored for weeks to be the same, is it? During my 2 weeks there has been several times I thought of quitting because the game is somewhat unbalanced on a few occations. But I just try and suck it up and keep going. But people like you are really the thing that takes the piss. The one I quoted has made the best point in this thread, and will be the best. No other thing needed to be said now.
  7. If you played a Sith Assassin you should know there already is an ability where you can run really fast for a short period of time. But I completely agree with you that there should be an ability to jump really high, I mean, first time I saw that, was the first time I was really hooked to it as a kid. I loved how being able to jump really high, and basicaxlly all Star Wars games made before this has had that. Not having it in one of the biggest Star Wars games, seems a bit not thought through. Gief a uber high jump skill roxxor poxxor.
  8. I would like to have a bit of a larger timer of AFK reports at least, because I was in a Warzone with quite alot of lags, and decided I'd see if the lag was reduced if I lower the resolution. I don't have the fastest computer and loading after resolution check takes maybe 10 to 15 seconds, during that time I had been kicked from the warzone for trying to REDUCE my lag, and all the suddenly shipped to a imperial fleet, instead of the questing area I was at the first place. So for trying to reduce the lag, I was kicked and shipped to a fleet, having to spend 10 minutes getting to my questing area once more. I find that a bit of ******** because I don't see the value to ship me to a fleet in the first place. >_<
  9. I think this would also be a wake up call that maybe we need a "Dungeon finder" system. Since I bought this game about 2 weeks ago, I have only been in a group twice, both to kill 1 elite and then disband. There really isn't much companionship going on in the game, mostly rivalry of who can reach the quest objective first, who can steal from who and so forth. That is my experience so far. And I don't really appreciate that since MMO's are mostly to work thogether and achieve a goal. Right now I experience the opposite. A dungeon finder would really sort some things straight and both give more player base to the game, and alot more activity in dungeons. I haven't even BEEN in a dungeon since I purchased the games, since I have not even seen one, nor seen anyone recruit a group for it. At east the mods/devs can take a look at this thread and see if there is anything they can do about it.
  10. I don't think this is entirely the players fault. The game mechanics when it comes to questing is basically as if you are to do it alone. I see it like when I was playing World of Warcraft, I could make a gnome warrior and a friend made a gnome warlock. Even if we were different classes we could still quest together through the entire levels up to 60/70/80/85, but in this game if you have a friend make a jedi knight, while you are a jedi consular - You can't really be together that much as in World of Warcraft or Rift. Surelly you can do the non-story quests together on the same planets, but you will still also have to either spread out and do the class story quests on your own, or decide wich to do first and the other after. I think this is rather bad, since it deminish the comradery between two friends leveling together. I would have liked to see something like what we already have, but a bit more 2 players or more friendly-ish. But since I am new to the game and I don't know anyone playing it, I just do it by myself untill I find a guild that I can feel comfortable with. But it seems like the quest mechanics was made for single players use. And at higher level you can get into a group to enhance your gear etc.
  11. What's wrong with just saying Star Wars: The Old Republic? =)
  12. Thanks alot, will try that once I login.
  13. Hey guys, so. I bought this game about a week or two ago, and I got a question. I am a guy who uses custom keybinds to play instead of click, and I've encountered somewhat annoying issue. You see, with my keybinds, I also use this: §, and when I set a quickslot with that keybind I thought it would work. But when I press that button I get to create a ticket window, wich is extreeeemely annoying. I looked through the keybind properties but I could not find anything but that quickslot with that button, in chase the symbol is in a different location, I want to use the button to left of number 1. Can someone please tell me where I can disable the "Create a Ticket" hotkey? Because I can't find it and I've looked for hours, and I really find that button extremely usefull. Thanks for reading, hope I can get a response soon.
