If i had my way, i would stop my country's car dealers from importing Lambos, Ferraris and Porche. So everyone would be driving regular cars instead of flashy sports car, next to me thinking " my car is better then yours" attitude. I mean so what they are rich and can afford ? So what they dont mind spending that kind of money? I hate the "minds better then yours" attitude, even though they might not show it, even though they maybe just pure sports car ethusiast, even though i"ll probably never mix with the likes of them, those rich, arrogant ***holes.

I been reading quite abit of swtor forums (recently migrated from another MMO) and i notice that the non hardcore/casuals/fanbois here gets highly/overly defensive when players be it the hardcores or even mere opinions of what and why this game fails to deliver. Strongly objecting feasiable , good ideas taken from other mmos. Eg : Lfg finder, combat parse, cross realms grouping ect ect... These casuals / wow haters seems to congregate here in swtor forums, and displayed high level of detest for the hardcores and wow migrants. It appears to me they have suffered greatly from their past MMO.

Do you happen to be one of those recount / combat parse haters in the other threads? This is where having damage meters would shine aint it? Ps: sorry for hijacking your thread to get my point across those numbskulls

Tools don't kill communities, players do. Players that use Recount to stir the pot are just going to use something else if Recount isn't available. If you don't have access to a damage meter, you have no idea how good, or bad, you're performing. All you have at that point is your gut. Heck, without meters, you have no clue which specs are viable DPS specs or not. That gets real fun when you hit an enrage timer and have no clue who the weak link is -- or even whether it's an issue with the spec or the player. Maybe you don't raid and don't have to worry about this, but meters are one of the most important tools a raid leader has access to. Nobody enjoys wiping 40 times in a night without progress, and if you can't access the tools necessary to identify what the problem is, that's exactly where you'll be. Did the tank die because he didn't get heals, or did he die because he didn't get away from a one-shot mechanic? Who's dropping the ball on dispels? Was a healer afk for the fight? Meters are more than just DPS numbers. They track everything. They can tell you in an instant what went wrong. If your ego can't handle someone linking a meter, perhaps you need to spend some time developing a thicker skin rather than argue that tools should be taken from the hands of people who need them.

Dot - damage over time. xxx amount of "Damage Over 3sec (Time) It might be channeled but its still Damage Over a period of Time.

Suggestions - boss spawn 2 adds in the first minute of the encounter, and for every min he spawn 2 more. So by the 5th minute you will have 10 adds. Or boss hits progressively harder, every 2mins he does 30% more damage so by the 6th minute , Boss hits almost 100% harder Or healing debuff on tank as time pass. Tank takes xx% less healing as fight goes on. Or as time passes raid take xxx amount of aoe damage. Im all for enrage timer though. These are suggestions OP could have posted but didnt

Yes but these haters are too blind to see. They use thier heart and bitter resentment(due to whatever reasons) for arguement , not rational and brains. Why do people do dyno test after modification? Sure with the new exhaust/turbo/ECU they car feels faster. But the want numbers. Raw BHP numbers. Not just "oh i feel more power" Sure you might not wana do a dyno test after you mod your car, but there are people who does.

You Recount haters can choose not to raid with those so call "elitest/min-maxers" but allow us to have the tools to choose not to raid with "noob/baddies/afkers" They are ADDING a feature to a game, not take it out. If you dont like it you can choose not to use it.
