  1. If you want to keep the feeling of classes, it's imperative that mobility abilities stay baseline. Losing Blade Blitz & Guardian Leap is like having a hammer taken to both my kneecaps -- which will incidently be my headcannon when it comes to roleplay. Much better if you just ditch all these changes though.
  2. This is the way I thought it was originally but his phrasing made it sound like you needed to use your Secondary Combat Style slot to do so.
  3. I've seen various different interpretations of the Combat Style restrictions detailed in the podcast. What I understood was: - Your *Primary* Combat Style has the same options as today's Advanced Classes (on a new character). - Your *Secondary* Combat Style has the options of everything in it's damage type (Force or Tech). - Your can change these Combat Styles to their Dark/Light mirror (once? no limit?). Or am I way off base?

  5. Seems a bit odd to ask for our feedback on Arena's when you're forcing all the PvPers to grind PvE at the moment.
  6. I still remember the massive backlash on the 2.0 PTS that they completely ignored. 1.7 Madness Assassin will always remain the most interesting spec in this game. Rest in Peace.
  7. I almost hope they don't. It's going to be a massive slap in the face when the stars align & it's one of the few pieces I already have. Speaking of which, I've done the 252 weekly 12 times & only got accuracy earpiece/implants so far. Starting to think they don't drop anything else.
  8. Arguably worse than the overwhelming negative feedback is the sheer amount of development time that is wasted overhauling systems only to arbitrarily ditch them. You created the CXP system to justify a massive increase in grind, only to create a worse grind that completely bypasses the whole system. What was the point? Creating & encouraging players to use a modding system then locking it down. What was the point? As a PvPer you spent years listening to feedback, overhauling gear again & again, each time making it fastest & easier to get min-maxed. You almost had it prefect. Then you did the biggest 180 in MMO history then doubled down on it. Again, what was the point? We have no clue what you'll do next. Will the next expansion make modding more complex for the dedicated players? Or remove it entirely for the casual players? It seems the odds are 50/50. And that's messed up.
  9. I know you're trying to reassure us but this reads more like a threat. Bigger than Ossus sounds utterly terrifying.
  10. This is getting ridiculous. The issue isn't the gear difference, it's the insane grind which is only made more tedious by backloading all the rewards. A progression system without progression is just insult to injury -- it's just pre-5.0 gearing with RNG, pay to win & an insane grind just to *start* gearing. Either go back to PvP gear or keep the progression system. I don't want the worst of both worlds.
  11. Buff AoE to fix single target, nerf because AoE too OP. We've done this a few times already with Hatred. Messing with Execute phase is a headache you don't need either for the sheer amount of discrepancies it'll cause in PvE & especially PvP. Thrash desperately needs a buff instead -- it's single target, just what's needed. Currently far too little focus target DPS is given up when spamming Lacerate (the AoE equivalent) & Maul does higher DPS than Thrash despite having lower Surging Charge procs & Critical damage. If more single target DPS is needed, hit up Demolish. Too easy. As others have said, Deathfield really needs the 30m back. If not for the balance reasons, for simply how clunky it is to use a 10m placement AoE.

  13. For over an hour now I've been unable to access several of my characters (kicked to character select) & if I try to access them, it spreads to all my characters until I log off the server. Those I can access have items missing and/or reverted to a state shortly (but not immediately) after maintenance. Characters deleted since maintenance have also reppeared. I've heard several reports of the same thing from other players along with a few reports of the GTN taking credits from purchases then sending empty mail.
  14. Had this for approximately an hour now on the Harbinger server along with deleted characters reappearing. I've also noticed several people in general chat reporting items disappearing in mail. Edit: Now I've logged back in, items have disappeared from my inventory & some of the mods I swapped have reverted themselves. Hearing reports of the same thing from other players.

  16. I just don't get why Scoundrel/Shadow leap doesn't just behave like Vanguard leap minus the root, interrupt & damage dealt. If a GCD and/or delayed animation is necessary, I'd GLADLY take it over what we have now. I'm tired of having the slightest line of sight, elevation, rapid movement, server lag, etc. all cause the ability to do nothing & go on cooldown.

And if I had instead posted it immediately when I got it, the other records would have be disqualified for too *much* protection? That doesn't make any sense. It would be better to rank via the total sum of protection & damage or just have one stat flat-out take priority. Keep things consistent.

  23. ^ This is not the case. The mount & the three titles are all bind on pickup. People have been using the PvP section to complain (including the thread I got this quote from) but alas we've had no response. Would like some sort of confirmation that the developers are aware of this issue since many of us are sitting on a lot of tokens. Cheers.
  24. Could we get an answer on this? I don't care if it's Bind-on-Pickup in future seasons; we were told it was Bind-on-Legacy this season so that's what I played for.
  25. This isn't even a reskin; it's literally the same mount half-finished that existed pre-Season 5 as a Stronghold preview. Not a single detail has changed. Why didn't you just apply this pattern to the existing mounts & resend out what we were promised? Why not swap the patterns now? I really don't get why those who spent countless hours grinding are owed less than those who received a free mount. This is the only PvP content we get so it kinda matters.
