  1. TK is not a 'rotation' spec, it is a priority spec. The priority is typically the following: Weaken Mind>Turbulence>Mind Crush>TK throw (w/ proc)/TK wave (w/ proc)>Disturbance That is, you should make sure WM is always up, use turb/MC on CD, and be sure to use TK throw and TK wave when their procs are up. For the latter two, you do not need to use them immediately when their proc is up; rather, make sure you fit them in any time before their proc expires. The TK throw proc is based on weaken mind crits, and as you said, cannot occur more than once every 10s. That doesn't mean it will be available every 10s, however - you have to wait 10s between procs AND wait for a weaken mind crit. TK throw(w/o proc) and project are technically better DPS fillers than disturbance, but disturbance also gives you procs, both keeping up your Tremors and proccing TK wave. Starting out I would suggest leaving these out of your rotation (except project on the move).
  2. Hey Amber, Forward our thanks to the development team. However, there must still be something else going on here! Note that in most of the cases people are complaining about, it isn't the entire group that misses the comms, only a few people in the group! Often half gets it, half doesn't. The whole group has the same leader, so the fix you explained doesn't make sense for this situation. Hopefully the fix will resolve the problem anyways, but I think there is still something left to address.
  3. The BiS barrel for Smugglers of all flavors is impossible to get without A) Having an imp toon, raiding HM denova for a token drop and transferring the barrel to your Smuggler with the legacy-bound rifles from the last world event, or B) buying a skill barrel crafted by an Imperial player who got the schematic from a RE of a HM denova drop. TL;DR: There is no way for a Republic player to craft or obtain Skill Barrel 26.
  4. We did not exceed an usual time limit. I believe we were there in about 15 minutes; max 20-25. And yes, we ended up in a different EC instance; we were booted from one depopulating, which gives you the ACCESS DENIED error that has at least 3-4 open threads discussing at the moment. Again, I suspect this was the problem. But the CSR would not admit this and insisted that there was some "secret mechanic" we were not achieving.
  5. This was actually a 45 minute chat with a live CSR. The CSR insisted that there was a mechanic that you must do "something" in order to unlock the chest, that he could see that we did not meet the criterion, and that he could not say what the mechanic was because it was a secret. Edit: And yes, I am skeptical also. Which is why I brought the issue here and am asking for a actual dev response.
  6. Our group had to reform after experiencing the "ACCESS DENIED" error related to Denova instances closing, after downing Toth and Zorn and before reaching the bonus chest in between bosses 1 and 2. We were unable to access this bonus chest (it was locked/red). CSR informed me that this was NOT a bug but instead an "intended mechanic" which was not caused by reforming the group or needing to reset the instance. Can we get clarification on this? Either confirmation that there is some hidden criteria we need to reach (which, I might add, we have never had a problem with until this situation), or better yet, some info on what that mechanic IS?
  7. Sawbones 1) Perceived as equal to Sage in PvE, best healing class in PvP. 2) I feel I can hold my own as a healer in all PvE content and in PvP. The Kolto Pack ability is so rarely useful that I do not have it on my toolbar. Scrapper 1) Perceived as weak DPS in PvE, good burst but nothing sustained in PvP and easiest class to counter with roots, stuns, etc. 2) I feel this spec greatly underperforms as an endgame PvE DPS, particularly where positioning is difficult and/or knockbacks are prevalent. In PvP I feel like I can kill any target I want, as long as they have terrible gear or are below 50% health - therefore I stick to Sawbones.
  8. 1) Defense Guardian is perceived as a "good enough" tank for PvE, with weak sustained damage relative to the other tank classes. Defense Guardian spec is entirely useless for PvP. 2) In PvE, I feel like I do fine as far as "tankiness" - but holding threat has now become a problem. I never had problems holding threat pre-1.3, but I am now raiding with mostly augmented campaign/BH geared DPS and my ability to hold threat (dealing ~600 DPS vs. 1400+ DPS) does not scale with their ability to deal damage without use of taunts. I feel like the changes in 1.3 improved my AoE ability but this is not in any way helpful in endgame raid content.
