  1. I wholeheartedly agree. This is why I am not going to re-sub (yes I am serious, not forum-trolling). I see no real story or lore content being created.
  2. *Hug* You're right, unfortunately. I am a returning player who bought a game-time card. I haven't played since pre-1.0 and I can already say it looks like I won't be resubbing. The fact that no decent loot drops in (solo) FPs is sad; isn't that a requirement of MMORPGs? Combine that with all of the reasons that you stated, including BAD story content, and there really is no reason to continue paying to play unless you regularly do group content (which may be bugged). Zakuul is lifeless and that is a complete waste of a full-fledged planet.
  3. I see where you could want to unsub. Personally, for me, 15$/month is quite a bit just for a game. As long as I level all my toons to 70 and they complete all the content I don't really desire to subscribe again (except to see the Theron bit tied up). I liked KOTFE but KOTET felt a lot less fun. If they'd continued the imaginative direction of the KOTFE story it could have been great.
  4. Color me surprised. Firstly, because Sith aging tends to take a toll on the physical attributes. Secondly, quite impressed but probably oversight, that Bioware would even have a female LI in her 40s. This makes me like her more but now I'm gonna be stuck begging for background story (imagination runs freely in the meantime). Consider, even young Raina has a decent backstory for her age.
  5. I don't see how the trials necessarily have to be set during the same time as the SI. From reading it it seemed to me that Tulak Hord had an absolute s***load of different relics lying around in his tomb (someone could have subbed any other ancient Sith tomb for story's sake). Your curiosity raises some interesting points to think about. If Lana was already a Sith during the Treaty of Coruscant and no longer an acolyte she must be of rather venerable age, Harkun too before he died (canonically).
  6. I 100% agree with you there. I really want to see more backstory because all Sith have to go through a load of bs just to exist. Maybe they can introduce a side-quest about her former master or something similar. It's sad you missed the romance lock though. I've got a few characters who have no romances at all but that must suck.
  7. The redeemed Arcann strikes me very much as a momma's boy. This is not a critique but this is what his personality resembles to me. I think this is a positive development that he will be another male romance option for females (presumably both sexes). Female characters mostly do not get good male romance options (traitors, walking STDs, the like) and have far less to choose from than male characters. I am satisfied with this development as redeemed Arcann seems a wholesome male LI (and you get a cool mother-in-law)!
  9. I recently came back to the game after a hiatus of over six years. At first, I dreaded doing any of the major expansions post-Hutt Cartel because I'd read over and over how game-breaking it (KOTET/KOTFE) was and how no one liked the 'main characters': Theron and Lana. Have to say I love Lana because we don't see any reasonable Sith in SWTOR aside from the handful including Marr and Vowrawn. You have to wonder how The Empire is able to operate if only a bunch of absolute lunatics are pulling the strings. That said, without much detail on her background (idk if I missed it) I do wonder how she achieved an influential position among the Sith. I hope that we players can explore her backstory, if that means she pulls a betrayal like then I wouldn't be surprised but I'd enjoy more story-content that makes sense. I compare Lana to her because we know Lana is quite attuned to the Force, seeks knowledge, and seems polite (except with SCORPIO hah) but to what purpose? Lana's fascination with the Outlander is, at first, touching but you must wonder if she does not have some bigger plan to use the PC like in order to gain more power. Lana says she doesn't want titles and seems to want for nothing but, come on, every Sith has greater desires, no? She's not a Jedi.
