  1. I'm having the same issue. Hugely annoying.
  2. I agree with the OP, PVP related class changes have an impact on PVE.
  3. Hi there, I was looking for an active guild that has players on at all hours, but particularly late night US timezones. I'm in Australia (GMT +9) and would love to find a guild that does a bit of everything (PVE, PVP, etc.). I'm not a hardcore raider or anything, but an active, big, fun, casual guild would suit me well. I've got a few characters, my main's a level 55 Sorcerer (but I've got a 55 Sniper and 40s Jugg and a 40s Merc). If anyone has any suggestions for a guild, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
  4. Play both! They're both really good classes, very different in play style. It'd probably be a good break to go from one to other, gaining rest xp on the toon you're not playing.
  5. I leveled from 0 to 55 all in healer build with no trouble at all. I l used Khem until I got Ashara and I found it went pretty quickly. As long as you're happy with a slower pace of killing then you'll be fine. The trade off for the slowness is security though, I died very rarely (normally from doing something silly) as a heal specced sorcerer.
  6. One thing I was thinking of for faction change would be something along the lines of the following: Your character would have to be maximum level and maximum of the alignment of the faction you were joining. So max dark points for joining the Empire and max light points for joining the Republic. Then I'd love to see a very long quest line where you are sent on tasks to prove your loyalty to the faction you want to join. Maybe even something requiring a member of the faction you want to join to "sponsor" you or have to quest with you. As long as it took quite a bit of time to complete, so it would take some effort or time to do. You might be able to get around the companions etc. by having your companions "abandon" you as you change factions then your character would have to start from the level 1 quest of its mirror class. As most (I think) of the stories have you start off as a rookie, it might work? That way you'd gain the mirror class companions by following the class story. I think that all of the above would take a boat load of work and probably wouldn't be worth the effort on Bioware's part however, so I'm not holding my breath or anything here! However, I think that faction could be done (not necessarily as I've suggested) in a way that made sense, if it was deemed to be something worth doing in game.
  7. Absolutely agreed! Well done, it's a thankless job that you're doing very well. Keep it up!
  8. I agree with this. If I'm to be forced off Gav I would prefer an open choice of servers I can go to, rather than be forced onto a west coast server. As an example I'd prefer to move to The Ebon Hawk rather than Begeren Colony. If my ping is going to be bad regardless, I'd at least like the opportunity to choose where that is
  9. I feel much the same. It'll be sad to see our servers go, I've really enjoyed the small community on Gav. It'll be nice to be on a bigger server though.
  10. One thing that I'd like to know I'd how long will this additional period of feedback to Bioware last before they take action? The thread's already pretty huge and it seems as though the major ideas on how to proceed have been discussed pretty thoroughly. I just hope that this doesn't drag on for months and months again.
  11. I agree that merges, or at least cross-server functionality is badly needed. I just realised that in all my time playing on Gav I have never actually gotten a group by using the Group Finder. Not being guilded as yet, it would make it so much easier to be able to participate in FPs, etc. I've got a low level alt on a better populated US east coast server (Ebon Hawk) and the Group Finder there pops very quickly (at most a 30 min wait, even playing at odd hours for most US based players).
