  1. Someone should get a tattoo of a troll. I'm not advocating anything. I have 8 and I'm 33... Got kids, professional job... no regrets on ink. Which I avoid things that change. Names of girlfriends or the freaking Pepsi logo. The philosophical question though "When is the last time you have felt this passionately about something?"
  2. Imperial Fanatic - Zealous Commitment To The Empire! Trying to think of what to do for my 8th tat.... well I do have all imp side adv classes. http://damntank.com/stash/tmp/sithdiehard.jpg Didn't really do it because of all imp classes, but because the that logo is pimp.
  3. It hasn't been repaired. The Flash points take place as the latest thing. If you are following the story of all the flash points and op's then at this point: Both Tython & Korriban are in ruins. We don't know what is next until the devs release the next phase of the story. Anyone visiting Tython or Korriban is visiting before this story arc. It's just like kill Malgus in the FP and then talking to him on a holo for a different FP. Just got to keep the timeline in your head.
  4. The important part of what I am saying is this is a NEW MESSAGE. Not the two messages you get from the Hand after you complete your final class quest. This came after completely the new Forged Alliances story.
  5. I called it in an older post that discussed who's story was a waste - The Knight or the Warrior. I had to run to work or else I'd post a screen shot. So someone else might be able to get in and post the whole message. makes me also wonder if the Inquisitor (being a council member) received anything.
  6. Wow, what a touchy subject. But it is apparent why we haven't gotten anything cool. No one else cares lol. So here is the question. Do you not think it would inspire more people to be subs and stay around for longer if there was something amazing as a reward for it? I'm not going to debate packs. I've put a lot of money in those too. And I live an incredible life of responsibility between two jobs, kids, and life. I'm allowed a childish rant from time to time.
  7. I'm not saying that I should get a rancor mount. I'm pointing out the level of awesomeness. What I am saying is that if they want to inspire people to be loyal customers, maybe they should rethink the stuff they give. Again, I will say this isn't about being disgruntled or threatening an unsub. No one would be a 2 year sub if they didn't enjoying =)
  8. And I have had a good time in the game. This is not a "I'm going to quit if I don't get cool stuff" thread.
  9. Indeed. Add yea it's a pretty awesome reward for the pvp'ers, but it isn't easy to be at that rating so I understand that. I'm just pointing out what awesome really is.
  10. This is my rant. This is my new campaign. "I've spent $405 on subscription and all I got was this ugly green Leprechaun inspired mount...." Actually I got a few other things, like with the expansion we go that chiapet looking pet. Wait, I paid for that... so that doesn't count. Got a part Jawa and a couple of titles. You know, I don't remember any of these things because that are not memorable at all. And to clarify this is just subscription payments, not what I've dropped on coins. For once I want to see them give the loyal customers something absolutely amazing. When I create a new character I get like 5 automatic emails with stuff from all the rewards that I practically just drag half of it into oblivion. I'm just saying it would be nice to be given something that had the equililant awesomeness as something that people might drop a few mil for in gtn or farm a NiM op to get a rare drop (not asking for something unbound so I can sell it.... just something that would be theoretically that awesome). I mean the top pvp people are getting a Rancor mount.... a freaking Rancor! This is the level of awesomeness I am talking about. Like here is you're TIE Fighter Mount or here is your Legacy set of Darth Malgus Armor. Yes, we do get in-game perks. Yes we did get early access to a lot of stuff. I'm not saying that I hate the game because of this. I love it. That's why I spent that money. It's just funny and sad that somewhere in the group of people that make decisions actually think they are doing something impressive for us when they give us these not so awesome items. With that said, what do you guys think? Do you F2P people think us Sub's already get enough? Do you sub's thing we should get better stuff? *EDIT This is sarcasm. 1. Not upset that people who worked their buts off get a Rancor mount and I don't. Just highlighting what awesome is. 2. I am happy with the game. Hell I met my fiance in the game.
  11. Well if we do an in-game wedding, we'll have to get matching legacy titles lol.
  12. Thanks everyone! *edit Yes we are imperial. She is a sorc and I'm a jugg. The GL took a video of it and a lot of people grabbed screens of it. And there was raiding before and after "wink".
  13. As ridiculous as some might think it is, my girlfriend and I got engaged on Voss Feb 1st. We met in the game over a year ago, became friends, and then decided to meet each other. I'm a tank, she's a healer... so it was just the perfect combination (and no, that isn't the only reason we're together). Regardless, I was ready to propose to her and was trying to figure out what to do. Since we met in the game and it is something we share together, I decided to get the guild together and use the game. Voss is one of her favorite planets, so I started there. There is a place south of the cantina where there is a cliff. You can see the Willpower datacron from this location and it is also a codex entry.... a place where the Voss would execute criminals or something. Had the guild line up on both sides and then I took her to the end. I used the kneel emote, traded her a signet ring companion gift, and she accepted the trade I turned to her (our desks are next to each other), got down on one knee and presented her with the ring. She said yes. I eventually go back to the computer and opened the "I love you" jawagram to her. The guild then launched fireworks and cheered. So many fireworks in fact that several people crashed. Then we all jumped off the edge. So that is the story. Might seem strange, but we're geeks and she loved it. That's all that really matters to me. Just wanted to share with the community. Also wanted to thank everyone that helped out from Jedi Cov. Obansik & Saints of Pain, Zedka and Kitties & Beer.
  14. Its mainly on the basis that you wouldn't become the new wrath if the old one was around. Jedi takes old wrath, you become new.
  15. I use Andronikos, 10k affection, 3% character perk increase. As soon as I was 450, I ran 24 Unsliceable missions over a span of 4 days without returning a single crit. The 25th - 28th missions were all crits. The following 9 missions haven't crit. Still collecting data. The most interesting thing that I have noticed is that when I crit, I am actually online with that character. Since it is my alt, I usually just log on long enough to start missions, hit GTN, and craft. I doubt that should cause any change to crit chance... I just thought it was odd. I do know that I crit about the same on my UT and TH missions. I would love to just see the code for crit chance. Even on RE's I can go 15 - 20 times without learning and then all of a sudden there will be 3 or 4 successful RE's. Also does the character perk only apply to crafting? I was never sure if that helped missions or RE.
  16. This might be a bit biased since I am a warrior and I really dig the Wrath thing, but I also have a knight..... so I know how the story works. Regardless, my whole perspective is based on the idea that the Jedi Knight's story is slightly ahead of the Warrior's. If you level both classes at the same time, the story works out really will. I won't point out everything.... just the main points. Knight - The original Wrath levels the Emperor's service and helps you escape. He then joins you. Warrior - At around the same time, you are appointed as the new Wrath. Knight - You attack DK and kill the Emperor Warrior - The Emperor's Hand informs you that they have located a suitable host for the Emperor, but it will take time for the ritual (which might just be in response to the Emperor's Voice on Voss you "free"). I know it was easy for the story just to say he's out, but if it is the case it really diminishes the presence of the "Wrath". It would be the same situation for the Inquisitor if the Council disbanded. I will add that I really loved the plot crossovers between the Knight and Warrior, but it always seemed like the Knight's story was taking place before the Warrior's.
  17. I've been playing this game since within months of its launch. I have played KOTOR 1 and 2. I've been around long enough to enjoy the days of X-Wing and Dark Forces. I am a massive geek when it comes to Star Wars. I've never liked the idea of MMO's until I knew it was Star Wars and it was going to be similar to KOTOR. You've guys have received a crap load of my money since you guys have worked within the Star Wars universe. With that said, I have only one question. I know other people have different questions that deal more with mechanics or other things that are important.... BUT Why did you put belts on the outside of robes? Out of all the games, comics, movies, and many sources of influence... why did you roll with the idea of putting belts on the outside of robes???
  18. All depends on skill level and situation. Obviously the Bounty Hunter has an edge with all the gadgets. Just look at Jango in the movies... He help his own with Obi Wan, shot another Jedi in the arena.... yes Mace handled him quickly, but a lot of his equipment was broken at the time. Never the less, I don't think any amount of equipment would have stopped Windu. What it comes down to for either the trooper or the BH is that all of their stuff is just buying them time. They are either drawing out the confrontation or giving themselves a chance to escape. Which the games never do a Jedi/Sith justice. Telekinetic powers can be used in interesting ways. Not to mention that outside of the games the light saber is OP.
  19. ^ THIS! I can't tell you how many times I've said that they'd get more money out of me if I was just able to buy what I want. I understand the buying a crap load of crates may generate revenue for them because I know a few people who spent hundreds of dollars trying to land that magical roll. I bought a crap load of coins and then packs trying to get a few rare items I wanted.... and it was a fail. Last time I will ever do that again. I'll just grind and buy off GTN.
  20. The two I'm waiting for: Malgus set as it is in FE. Not just another version of the Jugg legacy gear. Shae Vizla (not sure if I got the name right)... the BH chick from the trailers.
  21. Unless I'm on with my girlfriend, I'm running everything solo. I've been through every planet, heroic, and FP through five 50's and I play at a fast pace.
  22. She left for her trip. I'm on Jedi Cov, ingame email kyliss if you'd like to be apart of this. Won't be doing anything until it gets closer, but if I have names of people who definitely want to help I will message when its time to plan/prepare.
  23. I'll reveal the server and stuff after she leaves for her trip. Just don't want anyone spamming something in gen chat while she is on.
  24. Got the jawagram "flowers" and "I love you". Extortion.... though, 200k Plus the signet ring. Already have enough fireworks for 50 to shoot off 5 each lol. *if it was role play, I'd be wanting my "character" to get engaged. Instead I'm using character to achieve something in RL. Outside of that, think what you will to satisfy your existence.
