I recently started playing my sentinel again, he's around level 40. It's a really fun class and I like the story but I'm not really good in the PvP setting with him. I need some advice on where to start with a nice build and how to use it. Anyone? I haven't played this advanced class in over a year.

So I've been on The Harbinger since the first transfers and pvp was nice. I took a 6 month break earlier last year and recently came back, lets say a week ago? I would always pvp from level 10 to 49 (then 54 after ROTHC). After reaching 55 on different characters on the Imperial Side I would just dread 55 pvp due to all the pre-mades that would storm the Republic side where its not only a lose, but a face stomp. I know sometimes the Imperial Side wins, but I want to say 75% of the Matches I've played on The imperial Side are just face stomps and if I'm lucky I'd get maybe 5-6 medals due to solo fights. I'm the best of players either. (On lower brackets I would do really well in pvp.) Any recommendations on a decent to semi-good pvp server? Where one side at least has a chance to fight a good battle? I recently transferred my Sorcerer to The Bastion and it's pretty fun there, just want some insight on other peoples views on The Harbinger or Other pvp/pve servers.

Okay, I don't know about the other servers but The Harbinger is like this now: I pvp in all 3 brackets all week and with every match the Imperial side 8/10 times loses. The que times are getting longer and longer, its the same people pvp'ing now, and the same premades. My main point is: *Longer que's *same people pvp'ing *1 sided now (but I think that varies depending on server and time of day) *Fewer and fewer instances everyday In the 10-29 bracket: The imp side sometimes wins maybe 1/10 times? 30-54: One sided 55: One sided as well due to all the premades. In every match its the same premade winning all the time until around 12 p.m CT then another premade joins. Of course I'm only speaking from the imperial side and PvP from around 10 a.m CT to 10 p.m CT (of course with breaks and eating) I just want to know if every server is like this now due to the decline of PvP since 2.0. Before 2.0 it was fast que's, a variety of people in pvp, not one sided, different premades, multiple instances, and In my opinion more fun.

Me playing the most? ALL the classes, lol. But I love tanking while doing some decent damage. But when I heal with my sorcerer it's amazingly fun. I love healing in general. I'm torn between progressing one of the 3 55's I have. Which is again: Sniper, Sorcerer, or Juggernaut. With my sniper I have become good with all 3 tree, with my sorcerer as well, and juggernaut.

Yes I have actually. I love my juggernaut, but I don't know. I have a short attention span and when I pvp with him I look at everyone else damage and see 500k..600k.. and I barely break 300k. I SOMETIMES get the most medals..but very rare with my juggernaut. To be fair I have 5 pieces of level 55 gear, and the rest of my gear is the old pvp gear.

I have a 51 assassin, and 27 shadow atm. I love the tanking, but I keep getting drawn onto other characters, esp when I PvP. I'm an altholic.

So I've been playing on and off since February 2012. I have a 55: Juggernaut, Sniper, and Sorcerer. I have multiple characters that are between 30-40, 40-50, and 1 51. I want to focus on one character that fits my play style. I've been with my juggernaut but only for my raid team as the tank. My play style is mainly doing damage, and supporting my team in both PvP and PvE. My Question is: Which advanced class would fit my play style? I prefer a AC that can do multiple roles: Such as healing, or tanking while still doing a decent amount of damage. I do not mind stealth, or non-stealthers. Great story. Fun to level with. (Of course this is opinionated) I do not mind burst or DoT damage. Good PvE damage, and good PvP damage. (Again this depends on the person and person's opinion.)

I deleted a character back in June or July, I'm not sure. But do you think the developers could restore my character? He's a level 39 assassin and I'm only curious, if they can't then oh well my mistake.

Arsenal merc's seem to be the most hated class in pvp, as in the hate to play them. But I love the animations and the damage they do. Yeah it feels like a turret, but what does it matter? To me, as long as I'm having fun and doing good damage. I average about 200-250k damage, kind of low but I focus on objectives. But what is up with all the hate? They're a fun class and spec to play.

I have not even heard of anyone getting hacked from SWTOR, *crosses fingers*

How is the authenticator easy to over come?

I liked the free tionese gear and yes it did motivate me to raid. Before I would just get 50 and roll another ALT. But now I acctually raid with them. About my OP, I hope a developer can shed some light about this or anyone can confirm we get free starter gear at level 55.

With the expansion coming out soon, and the removal of Tionese, Columi, & Rakata gear vendors, how will a Fresh 50's get starter gear like they did before the expansion/2.0? The free tionese gear motivated me to raid so what happens now? Will we be getting free starter gear?

I already pre-ordered.

Just a little background: Well I've played this game since February and Took a break for 2 months. I came back around November . I've played since the "dead" times of SWTOR and through the server merges. Anyways, over recent topics I've seen on Twitter feed & general discussion I kind of want to see both sides to each topic. First and most talked about topic: The free-to-play model: Well I invited some friends to play SWTOR with me, and they loved it! I asked them what they thought about the model and they said, even though it was restrictive it was still decent. I myself didn't like it but saw it quite fair. I subbed when I returned so I didn't deal with it for more than a few days. *You don't really need more than 2 quick bars. (I have plenty of 50's so don't say "You obviously don't have any 50 level characters) *I don't agree with the head slot and match to chest buy option. - Should be free. *Credit cap at 250 I agree with due to gold spammers and farmers. Also since you can't wear purple gear it goes with it. * Can't wear purple gear, well you're limited to 5 FP's and 5 WZ's & can't raid so you don't need purple gear. Those are the most I've seen talked about, feel free to add what you've sen and/or don't agree with. The Cartel Market: The cartel market is to help revenue for Bioware since this is now a Freemium game. Does that make them greedy? No, it's to help keep the game up. Now I don't agree that Revan's mask and/or equipment in there since he's a major charcater in KOTOR1 and 2. But it's a pretty decent Market. I, myself haven't spent a dime on it because theres nothing that really interest me. Maybe some gear pieces but don't use the excuse that you're forced to buy some to make you "good." Which brings us to the next topic.. P2W (Pay to win) Pay to win usually is when you have to pay in order to be good. I recently stopped being an altoholic and acctually made some progression on my 3rd 50 Sith sorcerer and am now considered good. I'm decent in Warzones because it took a week to get full WH gear and now in full rakata gear. (I'm a sub) I haven't payed a Dime besdies the $15 I pay every month. In a pay to win I would already have all that gear the day I hit 50 plus better gear that I can buy from the market itself. Yes you can buy gear in the market but it's all just for show and modding. It's level 31 and is purple. I don't see this as a pay to win game. I've played plenty of those and I remember being stoppled down in PvP and in open area's to those who spent $3,000 on the game. Now I only get stopped down by Elite War Hero people in PvP. This is just a discussion thread, and I rarely post on the forums. I'm usually online playing and enjoying the game. How else does everyone see the above topics?

You sound like a 12 year old who didn't get what they want. It wasn't promised it was just said it may be free for subscribers. Things change? So what? OHMYGOD $10.....

After reading this, I just had to log in. This... is beyond dumb. You're expectations are beyond the roof and what are expected at a $40 EXPANSION. No matter what you think or say this is a expansion. Why? -Increased level cap -New planet -New skills -New gear And other POSSIBILITIES: -New warzone/Operation Thats more than any patch we've gotten. Its EXPANDING the level.

Damn is this just a one day thing or what? I cannot even level up without my Companion. Any suggestions?

I came back as a returning player and didn't even like the F2P model. I wasn't a prefered player either. But I don't like the F2 model, so I just subscribed, simple. A lot of new F2P players are Subsrubing anyways, so its working.

Lucky you. I never had it as well till I got on alderaan today, and alittle laggy and a skill delay.

Is this only on alderaan or what? I hope this gets fixed, because as a sorcerer I nearly die without my tank. Yeah I heal but then for some reason my companion decides to bring in another group. He barely even attacks. Ill try the dismissal and see if that works.
