I am writing this because I guess either I am extremely out of my mind, or just really sick of this crap. First Love Star Wars, I am a 6yr vet of galaxies. I have been playing MMO style of games since galaxies first debut. Alot has changed in the gaming community since then. One of the things I have noticed is the people, alot of ******es. It amazes me how some game companies will allow people to act like they do to others. Most of the people doing this are children, or cowards who finally have a chance to be the bully. I try to be helpful and friendly in conversation with others, most of the time its a **** you or your mom this or some stupid insult. I understand that most game industries are driven more by money than anything else. I love the pve system of the game it is great, storylines are great, very happy with this. My complaint is PVP. First off stuns and cc leave it for pve. I dont see a need for stuns and cc in pvp, slow effects or roots ok, but stuns are so lame. I like to play pvp and have combat, not be stunned and have some one beat on me, yes I read the resolve guide etc, I understand it to. Even still, I think PVP would be better with no stuns, and resolve to be used with roots or slows, this way combat is still happening and you can defend yourself, and range can slow melee classes or root them. Maps, the maps for most of the cap and hold maps are small, I think making them larger would make more sense, I have noticed that anytime a team holds two in the begin of WZ that they will most likely win, its hard to take a point when they can move easily from one to another. Healers, if your a healer then heal, yes sure you should be able to defend yourself, but to be able to beat down most people heal yourself and others and never die, is a little extreme. Healers are out of control, I see groups of dps trying to kill them with the most difficulty. So this gives teams a idea of half dps half heals, **** its so op. Please look into it. The other thing is balance, having 5 of one class and two of another and then one sucks, its an eight man team, limit it to 2 of each class, maybe that will give a better balance, again i am just ranting, these are my opinions. I would like to see an mmo with an age limit like 18+, and actually enforce it. I dont mind kids dont get the wrong idea, I am a very happy parent, but most parents dont know how kids act on here, the language and the rude comments, the disrespect is amazing, it must be nice to hide behind a computer and talk trash about someone, when in real life you wouldnt say boo to most people. Just like to see people act civil and parents act like adults and police the kids. If somoen is being a jerk to someone and its that bad or hacking or been reported enough, just ban the cd key to the game and cc info, its that easy. It might actually set an example. MMO are suppose to be fun, not frustrating, not to make you mad and hate or dislike the game, thats what alot of peoples attitudes do is make people hate playing the game, frustration is not a great feeling. Im not asking everyone get along, but I am asking that you think about what you say, words can hurt also.
